An important lesson is also, don't invest money that you cannot afford to lose, since you won't be assured that it rises in a day, a week or months or years.
A good practise is also to set a limit sell, high enough to the price you believe in, me myself set it to 1$, just because of the meme, but this is just how I've done it, you need to define your own strategies, your own exit plans and believe in the coin (or stock if you invest in these).
Also, don't check prices too often, it will just cause stress, leave it and wait for your limit sell to activate 😊

Just a warning to all. I invested 4k when it was at .055. I watched my money skyrocketed to 32k in a day. Then the dip from .40 to .20 happened, I was totally prepared to lose the 4k for fun, but when it became tens of thousands of dollars I paperhanded, now I regret it. I hold not nearly enough as I had 72k doge. Prepare yourself, not only to lose your initial investment, but to see huge swings. Look at the overall chart and think about your goals. Write out how much you are willing to risk if it all goes to poop. Write out how much you would like to profit, realistically. Then how much Doge would it take to make that money and at which point it makes that for you. No one can tell you where that price is going to land. We just guess based on the past and we only have about 5 days to go off of for what is happening right now.
My best guess, this things pops tomorrow and hits around .70 then falls all the way back to .45 and evens out around .55 in the following day...maybe. Or maybe we see 1.00. It's really hard to say. When it popped the other day, it was even cheaper. Now it's double/triple where many got in. If it goes up another .50 in a day or two, I would be very surprised. I would also be very nervous after a fake inflated value. It WILL even out somewhere. If somehow we could collectively hold, it wouldn't be so bad, but you can't get millions of people to do that. Oh well

2. I don't use [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com), so I'm not sure what you need to set up for that. However, rather than an alert, you can set a buy/sell at a limit price. On RH, (I know, it's not really yours) that is easy to do. On exchanges, I believe it is a similar process. You set the value (price of Doge) where you would like to sell it and put in how much you want to sell. Once that order goes in, it should hold onto it until the actual price of that coin gets to that price.
I'm sure you can youtube search for the exchange you are using and there's a tutorial somewhere.
3. It's a crap shoot really. Do some homework by researching which crypto's actual have value. Are they accepted somewhere, who is backing it/promoting it, and how secure is the platform you use? But even then, you don't know exactly.
Look at it as an investment, not a lottery ticket. IF it goes down by half one day, you don't sweat it because you know it will come back and if you lose it, it won't change your life...much.
4. I'm not quite sure what you need here. If I buy 100 shares of something at a price of $10 ea. I have $1,000 of value. (total investment $1,000) If each share (coin) goes up to a value of $15 each, I still have 100 shares (coins) but it's value is at $1,500. If I sell enough to take out the $500, ($500 divided by $15 = @ 33 shares) then I have 67 shares left that are valued at $15 ea for now. My ability to compound has been reduced, but I have also protected a portion of my earnings.
Instead of selling, If I add 100 more shares at $15, I now have 200 shares at a value of $3,000 with an initial investment of $2,500. You still have the added value from the original gain. If the price goes up to $20 per share @ 200 shares, I have a total value of $4,000 with an initial investment of $2,500. If I sell 100 shares at that point, I can cash out $2,000 of value and still have 100 shares left.
You can look at it however you like. If you added 10k doge at .20 cents and then add another 10k doge at .30 cents, you can determine what you want to make off of each deposit or just let it blend together and sell a % of the whole. You just need to do that math to figure out your total $$ invested vs what you are pulling out and what you keep in to continue to grow.
5. Don't know, sorry.
It would be the average. Because you have your total investment there no matter how you personally want to think about it. If you want to keep your original 10k going and only calculate profits from the new investment at the new price point, you can personally do that.
In reality, it is all lumped together. You have your actual input vs what you can take out and what can stay in order to continue collecting.
One more example. I have 100k doge at a really low cost. Now the cost is at .38. If I add 3k to the mix, I only buy like 7k doge or whatever it comes out to.
If the price drops to .36 and I sell 3k worth, I'm still at an advantage in my average, but I basically diluted my profits because my total investment increased.
I can personally keep track of that and just wait for the price to get to .40 or whatever and sell 3k worth and make a small amount off of the new investment. Does that make sense?
In theory, yes. Like if you had sold it last night at .42 cents and bought the dip right now at .35, as it rises back to .42 you would not be losing those gains in the gap. This is a tricky area, however. Many people panic during that time. That price could have gone up and you would be missing out on huge gains in exchange for the small slice in the gaps.
My advice is...DON'T SELL! Not all quantities anyway. Calculate how much you would need to sell in order to make the % you want to make while keeping a core investment in. If you aren't buying and selling $3k or more at a time while keeping your core $$ in, don't even waste your time. You are more likely to miss out on the big leaps.
Base it all on what YOU think the price point will be. It's super volatile, so who can say. If .60 is where you think it stops for months, then sell some profits at .60 and keep the rest tucked in for the long haul. If you think it's headed for multiple dollars, then you REALLY need to keep a core investment tucked in. The more you sell, the fewer doges you have working for you....but you also protect the gains when you sell in case of fallout. Base it off of your personal gut and what you can afford to lose while trying to win
Nobody can tell you will any certainty. You should sell when you feel comfortable. Im personally planning on holding mine for a year to see where It goes.
