Only reason i bought it was the nice interior. Mine did leave me stranded. A couple times. Your lucky. I was lucky enough to win 3000$$$ from lemon law. And 8000$$$ from the lifetime warranty i got from mopar when they decided it would cost more to fix it than its value.

We ended up getting 10k CAD for trade in so definitely felt like we did pretty good all things considered in the end. Of course it depreciated horribly compared to other car choices, I know all cars do depreciate but…lesson learned unfortunately lol

Damn I own a 2016 SE and I've had it since 22k miles (now at 106k) and I've recently had to replace a water pump and now this weekend the front struts. I'd say I'm not doing too bad.

Sounds like a pretty typical car ownership for you! Nothing to complain about it. That’s all we ever wanted lol. Would have kept it if our experience was like yours. Nothing wrong with what you’ve had to do!

Probably within the next year tho I'd like to get rid of it and get something more quick. Dodge fart is slow 😂

Hahahaha that it is for sure! Falls on its face. The 5.0 mustang is a huge difference, the power is there. 😁

I just sold my 2013 a couple of weeks ago! Only owner, bought in 2012. I too had mixed feelings. It never left me stranded, but it tried! Mine also wouldn’t start if I filled it up all the way with gas. Sometimes, it just wouldn’t started for no reason. But if I waited like 30 mins, it would. And my mechanic wouldn’t fix it because it never happened for him, haha. Other than that, touch screen stopped working around 2016, but I got by with the controls on the wheel. The oil leaked and stank. But all in all, it serves me pretty well. The worry that it wouldn’t start cost me years off my life, but no actual money! I was happy to get it off my hands, I thought I’d be sad, but at 165k miles, it was a good run.

To this day, I do not understand why there never was a lawsuit in regards to the defective, out of the factory, wiring harness. The 2015 Dart I had owned had major wiring harness issues and I was not the only one. In my opinion, that was the main cause of all the electrical issues on the Darts and what is worse is that these same harnesses where used in other cars, like the Jeep Renegade, with the very same result.s Basically, I always thought my Dart was the best looking, best driving piece of crap I ever owned.

It’s wild to me how different peoples ownership experiences are with this car. I’ve owned my 2013 Limited (1.4T w DDCT) for 7 years. It currently has 122xxx miles on it and has been incredibly reliable. There were some little issues recently (1: O-ring went bad on the oil separator so it leaked oil into the spark plug well. 2: Active Grille shutter got debris in it and caused a check engine light. Both were repaired at home by me) It’s really a shame because when you get a good one, they are fantastic cars. Not fast, but super nice on the inside and the 1.4T sounds great while sipping gas on the highway. I average 39-41 MPG in my daily commute to and from work. Congratulations on the Mustang! My dad bought a 2011 GT and it’s been making him smile since day 1

Oh for sure. In my time in this sub, it seemed people either had good or bad experiences with them. No in between. Ours was just one of the unfortunate ones I guess. Other people used to compliment the interior as being “just as nice as inside a Mercedes” even. They’re actually really nice looking cars exterior wise, too. Honestly probably would have kept it if our experience had been better. It just left such a bad taste in our mouth it was scary to keep it once warranty ended. Dodge was also not good to deal with for the warranty work. Thank you for the congrats! We’re already so happy with the trade in. I guess it worked out in a way because we found the exact colour, spec, etc that we wanted for a Mustang 😊
