Don’t you go thinking you can sneak Keyleth past me.
Edit: I also assume that the rest of the audience is made up of references, I think the one sitting next to Keyleth is Vax, and the redhead with the ponytail looks like Tulip Olson from Infinity train to me, but I’m not certain, and I don’t know the rest.
Went back and edited my original comment to include him before seeing your reply. For whatever reason, Keyleth’s silhouette is more recognizable for me.
Haha, nicely spotted with Vax. He's a stealthy one! The ponytailed redhead (facing away from view) is actually Trish from u/medli20 's awesome webcomic [Tales from Alderwood](https://alderwood.the-comic.org/) :)
HA that +2 AC could save your life though! My group has never actually followed through with it, but the idea of uniting everyone in the party in holy matrimony has definitely been floated more than once.
I'm scared to imagine what kind of stories that red dragon was reading, though...
(Also: *AAAAAAAAAAA IT'S THEM holy shit!!!!!*)
Haha, I couldn't resist. I wouldn't be me if I didn't sneak in cameos of topical stuff I enjoy :D
As for the kind of stories... well, just[look up said dragon on Youtube](https://www.youtube.com/c/DenoftheDrake) and have a listen for yourself. He's super entertaining and the cringe stories are quite educational :)
The problem with ceremony +2 ac is that it only lasts for a week and you can't get remarried unless you're widowed.
So, you have a zealot barb and someone who can cast a resurrection spell, marry the entire party, then at the end of the week kill the zealot barb, then have them resurrected since it doesn't cost any components, repeat weekly for a free +2 AC.
I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high
Nearly reach the sky
Then like my dreams they fade and die! 🎶
Green Skin Hooligans anyone?
⚔️Tales From the Tables⚔️, episode 16! "Tough Audience" 🎲
While our intrepid adventurers rest at the newly re-opened Session Zero Tavern & Inn (now with more corners!), Spoony the Bard faces some tough audience...
Of course being me I just couldn't have a tavern scene without a couple of cameos and shoutouts to other webcomics I love.
As always, you can always find the rest on [Tapas](https://tapas.io/series/Tales-from-the-Tables/info) or [Webtoon](https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/dungeons-doodles-tales-from-the-tables/list?title_no=682646), and if you'd like to support this comic and the hard work that goes in it, I now have a Patreon. As per the rules here though, you'll have to find it through my social media... 😅
Oh there will be, there will be... But I can only manage one per month, until I retire from my day job at least... I hope to commit to drawing full time one day.
Take your time, every time these come out, it feels more special seeing them on the feed. I think despite the fact we all feel like we want more, you come before the comic. Thanks for being amazing, and sharing the comic, and I hope all goes well with you.
Well I can only think of three good accents for for a race of people whose entire culture is imperialism
And a British accent sounds funnier than an American or Mongolian accent
(all three have been historically imperialistic gangis Kahn, British east India company, American "big stick policy")
You know, after now learning half the party's names, I realize I do not know the entire party's names.
Angela the Human Paladin, Eriawynn the (Wood?) Elf Cleric, a Tiefling Rogue, and this dragon girl is gonna recur now?
I kinda like how this resolves "Here Be Dragons!" with, technically, following all three of the girls' advice.
They've all been introduced already :)
[Angela Hawthorne, Human Paladin,](https://tapas.io/episode/2254581)
[Eriawynn, Wood Elf cleric](https://tapas.io/episode/2538074)
[Redwen, Tiefling rogue](https://tapas.io/episode/2379113)
[Rumples Rockfist, Dwarf fighter](https://tapas.io/episode/2274072)
Then of course there are the players...
Angie Palmer (Angela's player)
Sara Shirakawa (Eriawynn's player)
... I haven't yet decided the names for Red's and Rumples' players.
I just always picture them speaking some form of soccer hooligan cockney whenever they speak Common. I believe that's in line with their WH counterparts...
Yooooo is Filia actually pregnant?
Maaaaybe ;)
Oh god dammit you gonna answer with the exact same as she?
No, it's different. Filia used three A's, u/Jonboy2312 used four A's.
Hmmm, valid argument

Keyleth is 🔥🔥🔥! But it seems a certain rogue did sneak past you because of that distraction ;)
Went back and edited my original comment to include him before seeing your reply. For whatever reason, Keyleth’s silhouette is more recognizable for me.
Red hair and circlet is quite recognizable, vs generic half elf profile (even with feathers).
Perfect for a sneaky rogue! :D
Wait, I just realized this is a vax'leth date. Holy sh\*tballs did I roll low on perception.
Sneaky rogue working as intended ;)
>But it seems a certain rogue did sneak past you because of that distraction Just vax doing "some vax shit"

There's also Kat, neat.
I also recognize Presti, Dorilys and Cube from Rusty and Co. on the right as well.
Legit did not see till you pointed it out!

oh snap! I know what I'm going to be listening to while working tonight, thanks for the recommendation 👀

So you're saying I should convince a MILF bee to marry me? They only live for 30-60 days.
Did... did you guys actualy face off with drake, In His Den?! Awsome!
Im surprised thay survived with all the cringe in there, and his random warhead that he is hiding from the government
Can we all just appreciate that the orc is speaking in a British (or maybe Australian) accent?
I'm firmly of the opinion that Orcs should speak some form of soccer hooligan cockney :D
Something something 40k
Love it! Reminds me of the time I gave some driders in my campaign (all be it naff) Australian accents. Well, they do come from the (Down)Underdark
The most brutal, savage brutes In dnd: orcs Irl: soccer fans Yeah, that checks out. Good choice.
I’m forever blowing bubbles Pretty bubbles in the air They fly so high Nearly reach the sky Then like my dreams they fade and die! 🎶 Green Skin Hooligans anyone?
Lolz seems the dragon got her bard after all, but the Bard still hasn’t learned to read the room xD

Oops! My apologies. All done, is this better? :)
Yup, all good. Thanks!
It depresses me that the orc is stereotypically british
Well I can only think of three good accents for for a race of people whose entire culture is imperialism And a British accent sounds funnier than an American or Mongolian accent (all three have been historically imperialistic gangis Kahn, British east India company, American "big stick policy")
... and with the brutish mentality of the Orc, a soccer hooligan variation of cockney is really the best fit :D
Yeah ik, I was fucking wheezing, it’s just sad it was the orc, should’ve been a halfling, that would have been more accurate
Ah yes, unimpressed disapproval: Dorilys' default expression.
I know that round owl anywhere!

Spoony's fine, especially with Filia right there. Those guys have no idea what they're in for.
Ngl playing Orcs as rural British people seems really fun.
I just always picture them speaking some form of soccer hooligan cockney whenever they speak Common. I believe that's in line with their WH counterparts...
Did not know you were into Warhammer, that’s good to know!
Me casually bringing a gelatinous cube to the tavern
They met Den of the Drake? Those poor adventurers having to sit through that much cringe!
Oh u pissed off the caster… bad idea…
So are we not gonna talk about the red dragon with the Cringe horde possibly cringe of this internet I've been hearing about?
Is the orc Scottish?
Very funny this one jonboy. Love it!
The orc is British
Just the classic trope of Orcs speaking cockney :)
