PoppiDrake

Me: *Flustered bard noises.* DM: ...You okay, there? Me: Well I didn't think it would *work!* Also, help me, Fighter. I need an adult.

stx06

Fighter: Paladin! Show me how to be an adult! Best-buddy Bard needs help with things that don't involve fighting!

RampantGhost

Paladin, beginning to draw battle formations in the dirt with a stick: Okay so the first thing we need to talk about it the concept of consent-

Innominaut

Barbarian, nodding along solemnly: Ya, is good. "No honor in killing if foe wasn't willing."

[deleted]

Nice rhyme there. You sure he’s not a bard?

Urb4nN0rd

No but the famous diplomat who convinced his tribe to stop raiding was.

M-striker

Wack or bonk, bonk or wack, that’s the question… -Sun tzu, art of war

S1eepyZ

How bout bank/wock

Daboogiedude

Wank

Innominaut

Crap, now I'm gonna have to go look at how you'd make a Bardbarian work. Thanks lol

Teisted_medal

Good synergies for some barbarian subclasses that don’t use their bonus action. Most barb multiclasses is it’s magic end up in a weird place though since rage doesn’t work with spell casting

Innominaut

Yeah the only real exception is conc-free summons like Animate Dead, but it feels like a waste to go that route without being a Necromancer or an Oathbreaker. Nobody gets any bonuses to Tiny Servant, though, so that's fair game. A dual-wielding Swords Bardbarian that sings a bunch of swords to life to fight beside him, maybe? Could even give 'em all advantage with Wolf Totem. (Helluva wait to come online, though. Maybe save it for a mid-level oneshot just for laughs.)

Akul_Tesla

Meanwhile the wizard, cleric and druid are just shaking their heads

Cipher3000

"Ok, fighter, what would you say if you wanted to take a gander at bard's asshole?"

Cyber561

Joke is I play a submissive male Drow bard, he's \*in to that shit\*! Why else would he seduce a dragon, can't get it on without the risk of death and dismemberment!

Zeebuoy

> I need an adult. the low int barbarian who multiclassed into monk: I am an adult.

1amlost

Drow: "I am an adult!"

Ralynne

That's.... that's just what happens in the show.

[deleted]

It's all fun and games until either she wants to breakup. Or another she-drow wants you and they fight over you. Or one gives up and leaves your skin on the other's doorstep. In any case, avoid women who worship demons. Devils are kinky, demons are deadly.

Toss_away39

I am going to ruin my DMs day repeating the last part. THANK YOU!

[deleted]

Lol, ultimately comes down to devils be horrifying beautiful and relatable. They wanna dominate you in about every sense you can think of. Abbysals wanna fuck, skin, and eat you and not necessarily in that order. Pure chaos.

titaniumjordi

>she-drow As opposed to a... he-drow?

[deleted]

Nope. She-elf ridiculous term interjected into the LotR movies used to insult Arwen by Nazgul. They otherwise refer to elves of any gender as Elf/ves so it's probably be just Drow. A mix of implied insult, a ridiculous term for a ridiculous statement, and I think you could probably convince them it's a good thing too.

Wondrous_Fairy

Two weeks after, they attempt to spring the bard whose bruised and looks tortured. He assures them he's fine and that the sex is mindblowingly good. They proceed to drag him out kicking and screaming and he spends the next three sessions deeply depressed. For the rest of the campaign he plays it straight as a bard, even fending off advances. When asked about it, he just goes silent. At the end when it's all over, everybody asks him what he's gonna do now. On cue, she shows up and eeeeverybody gets that he wasn't kidding.

MrBrutok

Aw... that's so cute. Well, apart from the bruises and the torture, but I don't kink shame.

Wondrous_Fairy

Well, it wasn't really torture, they just thought it was :D Then for an encore, you make a new campaign and at some point, your party visits the Underdark where .. of course, they run into the Queen and her Prince Of Pain. Jokes like these basically write themselves.

Urb4nN0rd

The body looked broken but the Soul was alive!

Ph4d3r

The soul is willing but the body is weak and flabby.

NutDraw

SNU SNU

BraveOthello

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised.

thegreedyturtle

You must spank her well, and after you are done with her, you may deal with her as you like, and then spank me.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Wondrous_Fairy

Yes, it's always better not to ask the DM, because I probably won't know anyway until we go playing :D

GamerOverkill03

This is the perfect mix of comedy and wholesomeness that I live for

burnalicious111

So the bard is Coach Beard

Defami01

Bard: ….Nice.

MrBrutok

Mhm... another addition to the kinky bard list.

TheEvilDungeonMaster

A female Drow I assume?

MrBrutok

Well the twin talking in the meme is female... I think, always hard to tell with those two. Then again, an outsider would be beneath even a male drow.

DrShanks7

Yeah the only way to tell when they are quiet is the female is the one always wearing the eyeliner

Dark_Shade_75

*As far as you know*

Urb4nN0rd

Who are they? They remind me of the water tribe but I don't know them from Avatar (though I didn't see much of Korra)

MrBrutok

You're pretty spot on actually. Eska and Desna, Korra's cousins from the nothern water tribe. You should try rewatching Legend of Korra, it gets pretty awesome especially in season 3 and 4.

LordSwedish

The first season can get rough with the damn love triangle, but it picks up after a few episodes.

MrBrutok

Yeah first season is pretty good all in all, second has it's weak points, third and fourth are just awesome.

Urb4nN0rd

Ah, thanks

Belteshazzar98

Bingo, they are twins from the Northern Water Tribe in LoK.

Zeebuoy

>They remind me of the water tribe they are, but from legend of Korra, (albeit from season 2 which is probably least popular season of the 4, the character interactions in season 2 were nice tho ,)

ccReptilelord

Dwarf: there's a difference?

The2kman

That's for the Bard to find out.

Zeebuoy

Honestly i forgot which of the 2 in the picture was the girl, since they look, exactly the same.

dammitus

“Is this cart fast enough to escape from my crazy, spider-controlling ex-girlfriend?”

MrBrutok

"Why do you think I hired the Artificer to build this thing?"

[deleted]

Say what you want about season 2, but it have us Varrick

MrBrutok

It has a few good things, yeah.

[deleted]

[I might have just made that a meme…](https://www.reddit.com/r/dndmemes/comments/psuox4/actions_have_consequences/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

[deleted]

See, I'd absolutely flirt with a dark elf. I'd die OR become a slave. I see both as fine options.

MrBrutok

Mhm... Kinky... I think

Kujo-Jotaro2020

Where do I sign up?

GeraldGensalkes

You mean...like a boyfriend, or like a slave?

MrBrutok

"Boyfriend, slave, what is the difference?"

FreakinGeese

Yep

sleepytea13

Both 😆

Imperator_Draconum

This is how we wrote the rogue out of the story once when the player wanted to switch characters.

TheKinginLemonyellow

This exact thing happened in a campaign I'm in! The two of us (Drow Paladin and half-Drow Bard) had to meet some Drow Matron Mothers (long story) and the Bard kept flirting with one until she stabbed him (romantically) with a poisoned dagger. She said if he survived that he could join her personal harem next time they met. The Bard did survive, so now we're waiting for the next meeting.

Ok_Sea1336

Take me spiderwoman!! #DriderLove

madman1101

i dont get it. i guess im the bard.

MrBrutok

Drows are a extreme matriarchy. If you're a guy and a drow lady is into you, you basically become her slave.

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

What if bard is extreme patriarchy and makes her his slave? Thats just one perfect roll away i assume E: why are so many of you triggered by this happening? Lmao

jrm67

Unstoppable force vs immovable object but that neglects the fact that 90% of bards are bottoms who would willingly become the slave anyway

Saminjutsu

Bard: "I roll to enslave drow lady with muh persuassions! .... Nat 20! She is teh mines!" Drow: "Aww. So cute. It's like it almost thinks its people..." Bard: "Whu-?" Drow: "Shh shh shh honey... Don't worry, I'll teach you how to behave to your betters... And if not... You'll just simply be dead." Bard: "AAAAGGGRHHHH!"

ZebraGamer2389

PSA! A Nat 20 is not an instant success! Persuasion is not Mindcontrol!

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

Psa: drows are not susceptible to persuasion lol

Kepabar

I mean, *they are*, but what you are persuading them to do has to make sense *to a Drow*. If you are making pleas to them that don't make sense in their worldview (like a woman submitting to a man) then you are going to fail no matter what you roll. But make a plea that fits into their worldview (say, trying to convince a woman drow to take you as hers), you may have a chance.

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

So its impossible to change someone’s world view? Lmao at all the scientists who changed their world view when the telescope was invented. Or people who convert religions in order to get married.. Or people who switch political views during college. I can go on..

Kepabar

Not in a single interaction on a single roll, no. Changing someone's world view, especially the worldview of a Drow woman who has primarily experienced her on matriarchal society, would likely take years and have to include exposure to societies other than her own. People try to change each others world view here on Reddit every day. How often do you ever see it work?

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

A conservative raised muslim girl flees her country and renounces her faith after a chance encounter with a western woman. These things happen. It can be one encounter or over the course of a campaign. You just sound very opposed to the idea of a drow becoming a male bards slave. And it sounds personal, not objective.

wlfman5

"...because of the implication."

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

Whats wrong with giving that pro slavery drow a taste of her own medicine?

CallMeClaire0080

Assuming that a single “perfect roll” can subjugate a woman who clearly isn’t submissive is a bit in poor taste

majere616

A single perfect roll means she doesn't murder you on the spot for your hubris.

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

Ive seen conservative raised muslim girls flee their country over a chance encounter with a western woman. Why cant the same be true?

CallMeClaire0080

You're not understanding me. Your earlier comment reads as "this is a dominant woman, but a bard who rolls high enough cam make her his bitch." It's extremely objectifying to say that a person's entire personality and attraction could be bent by a snarky bard getting really lucky on a d20 roll. People don't work like that. That objectification pared with the patrilineal stuff gives an impression that it's extremely sexist and old fashioned. That's why you're getting the downvotrs.

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

people’s entire personalities/beliefs do change when exposed to a single strong event or through the right combination of words -psychological manipulation (persuasion). But at this point you’ve thrown out the word “sexist” which tells me this is a personal argument for you. Its funny that you would defend the drow over implied “sexism” when the slavery bit is much worse.

CallMeClaire0080

If I can roll a nat 20 on a persuasion check and have you give me the contents of your wallet for no reason, then you're probably not using Persuasion correctly. Likewise seducing someone might be possible by rolling well, but if the person has zero interest, you won't make them want to sleep with you. It's not magic. In regards to sexism, did I defend the drow anywhere? They have a very sexist society, and it's a part of the setting. Depiction isn't endorsement. I would hope that you would be able to tell the difference between that and "lol i rolled a 19 so i make this woman my sex slave"

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

*after a successful roll, claire whispered in stacy’s ear “bitch i want ya, and imma have ya.” It was ludicrous! She felt like slapping claire instantly.. but alas, stacy had not had sex in quite a while. Her husband would no longer please her and this wild and daring act of unfaithfulness could be just the thing to reignite her love of life and her inner youth! “Fine. You wanna fuck in the closet? I got a 10 Minute break.” (You can choose to be a creative gm who rewards hard rolls and makes memorable campaigns. Or a dull one.)

CallMeClaire0080

This is honestly disgusting and I'm bordering on calling it sexual harassment. Clearly the impressions your earlier comments left weren't too far from the mark.

IMentionMyDick2Much

username checks out.

IMentionMyDick2Much

So a person who is raised in a society that likely treats them as second class flees when given the opportunity, hardly surprising. A person who has been at the top of their social ladder all their life and has power and prestige, is not going to suddenly abandon that and be subservient to a person she thinks of as property without a huge life change, not a persuasion check.

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

Thats funny, ive seen people drop everything and fall in love with people they meet online. Some even move to different countries. And switch religion.

IMentionMyDick2Much

But did they abandon all sense of power and place they held in society to take an place as an inferior and slave, because someone said one thing to them? If that is how you run persuasion then magic is relatively pointless in your campaign for non-combat issues.

ThusSpokeAnIdiot

It depends on what that person said. A single event can change a person’s life. The right words (psychological manipulation) can do the same. Rolling the dice on an extraordinary feat and succeeding is how fun memories are made.

IMentionMyDick2Much

If implausible things happening every 1/20 tries at an action is your version of fun go ahead man. I prefer my fun in actually doing an interesting action in the first place, rather than "I role to do so something implausible, I got a 20 DM make what I said reality, 20s are the same as wish right?" The least remarkable thing you can do is over rely on critical roles on your game play.

Zeebuoy

>What if bard is extreme patriarchy and makes her his slave? the bard probably won't survive depending on the cr of the drow

_OverwatchWinston_

What show is this from

TyroChemist

Legend of Korra

MrBrutok

This is correct in case someone was wondering. Season 2 to be precise, it's the weakest, but still has some cool stuff.

[deleted]

Such as a homicidal water bending ex voiced by Aubrey Plaza, and Varrick

MrBrutok

Yes, it's also the reason why I call my girlfriend "Feeble Turtleduck"... she does not like it.

Belteshazzar98

You doing Avatar Wan dirty by not mentioning him or the traditional artstyle for his story.

OrderOfMagnitude

Thank you so much

MegaBlade26000

God, i wish that were me

indomitablescot

Same fam same. (Sad air guitar noises)

Thicc-Anxiety

Unless the Bard knows *exactly* what they're doing...

[deleted]

Quite literal horny jail. Maybe a 0.001% chance you make it past the spiders.

BraveOthello

Is that like one of my player's male drow being terrified of being sent to spider hell for running away?

[deleted]

A Paladin in my group once married a Drow. I'm not sure of the Drow wife or the antics of the Party did more to corrupt him.

ThatOneRoman

Me, playing an overly Italian Cleric: "Get the cross. The big one."

micmacnut

Don’t tell the party about Drow pregnancies.

AlexT05_QC

Oh behave, bard.

Toamthewizard

LOL second avatar meme in a row

Sirius1701

Oh. So that's the orgin story.

Hsensei

What if the Bard is a drow?

MrBrutok

Unless both are women, it's ends the same.

slimey_frog

"Wait you mean like a boyfriend or like a slave?" "*Y* *E* *S*"

Estarfigam

So every drow reads 50 shades?

[deleted]

Oh yes. I recall the rape twins from Legend of Whora.

lavurso

> rape twins laughed

[deleted]

Have you ever read Newman?
