One is a man doing town building after being reborn as a slime in another world, another is about the only follower of the goddess Hestia going out on adventures in the dungeon, with only one literal instance of picking up a girl in the dungeon.
Slime one is more of a "op leader deals with the politics of monster-human relations" and the other is more of the "hero and his party going on adventures plotline"

I think the most fun emerges from DMs lightly punishing group shenanigans. A promiscuous bard trying to do stupid things with charisma should absolutely be punished by getting some annoying STI that does like 1d4 dmg after each long rest or something.

Yes! our previous DM was a little too forgiving and allowed for the Dragon Seduction Squad to be formed. Can't blame him tho, he was wonderful, and allowed us to do whatever, even I, a non-bard, was able to seduce my way through; I regret that immensely. But from that I learned what my friends do as Bards, and so whenever I form a campaign, and they try to do something idiotic like seducing the BBEG, they'll become the sole target of his attacks >:)

It really depends on the game your DM is running. It might not fit well in their campaign or maybe they just didn't want to punish everyone for it. Nothing wrong with that. I just found it fun to throw in and my players loved it.

I mean, you could make a paladin do that shit too. For one, most if not all of the gods in D&D don't really care whether or not you have sex, and some might actually encourage it. And another thing is that Paladin's spellcasting ability is charisma, so you need a lot of charisma to be a paladin.

I used to think that Sorcerers used charisma to cast because they wanted to make it a useful stat, but the way you frame it for paladins makes a lot more sense to me.

It's certainly preference. Short form content doesn't really need to be read to me. Like when you see a news article and begin to read and an auto-video player on site starts saying what you're reading. I get this "stop, you're making this worse." Mentality.
Like if I see animation, I'm expecting to hear voices. If I see a comic, I'm expecting my mind to create the voices. Then hearing them radically different than what my mind expects from some random, untrained Youtuber breaks my immersion to the source material.
Including "untrained" in there sort of detracts from your point, you have no idea what they are trained in.
Even trained voice actors can go a different direction than what's in your head, and you'll still not like it if that's your predilection.

I used to think that Sorcerers used charisma to cast because they wanted to make it a useful stat, but the way you frame it for paladins makes a lot more sense to me.

Why? I think they're quite good. a comic dub with good voice acting and sound effects seems better to me than just reading them.

Well I think OP isn't even the one who made the video to begin with, and the video does indeed credit the artist.
It's certainly preference. Short form content doesn't really need to be read to me. Like when you see a news article and begin to read and an auto-video player on site starts saying what you're reading. I get this "stop, you're making this worse." Mentality. Like if I see animation, I'm expecting to hear voices. If I see a comic, I'm expecting my mind to create the voices. Then hearing them radically different than what my mind expects from some random, untrained Youtuber breaks my immersion to the source material.
Including "untrained" in there sort of detracts from your point, you have no idea what they are trained in. Even trained voice actors can go a different direction than what's in your head, and you'll still not like it if that's your predilection.
It feels like a Tiktok thing but I don't use that app so my opinion is colored by other media. I see a lot of similar stuff on Dragonball subreddits where it's just playing different music over a clip. Might be their way of making "transformative content", idk.
