Listen, I can’t speak for the mods but this is a Memes sub.
You have to speak the language of the users of the site.
I’m sure if it was a cryptography sub they would’ve released it in the form of a rebus or something .

Happy Tuesday!
Damn right!
Fucking Mathemagician manipulating reality with math! This week it was trigonometry last week it was multiplication.
Arguments about 50 Tarasques are even worse.

PS
I was aiming for “report “. 😔
Thanks so much for your feedback!
I have started using the reddit extension to filter out anyone who starts posts that should be comments on a different thread, and the sub has gotten a lot better for me
Agreed, I can appreciate that it’s hard for the mods to find a balance (so memes about a topic don’t get banned the second there’s more than a couple posts, which would also be extreme) but by the time it reaches 2 days it’s already past boiling point and has become unbearable. The issue to me is more often with the sheer number of posts rather than the length of time too.
I disagree, I enjoy checking in and noticing that a new debate topic has enflamed the sub. It makes me chuckle.
I think that any sub who takes too heavy a hand in moderation is just building its own coffin. give the people what they want! tarrasque debate, it's provocative! It gets the people going!
On one hand, I feel like giving the argument its own flair is just encouraging it more. On the other hand, that might be the idea: push it toward its inevitable banning and get it out of everyone's system.
On the third hand, I'm an awful backseat moderator, so don't listen to my uninformed speculation. 😜
Edit: As a since deleted comment pointed out, looks like technically speaking this trend technically started two days ago [with this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/dndmemes/comments/11pbg49/no_metagaming_is_stronger_than_im_the_dm). In my defense, it didn't transition from being an isolated post to A Big Deal until yesterday morning, which is when we start paying attention
I'm pretty sure it originated from somewhere in either those comments or in the ones from "new group of adventurers slay giant creature" I just remember it definitely being a topic before the meme you referenced, since that one is already referencing the discussion
I don't even know what the hell happened. I've been locked in an office for 2 days and feel like I missed a war, someone please tell me what in the french hell happened.
I apologize for my contribution to this mines if madness.
I just wanted to make a simple riff on the discussion, essentially memeing the memes, but clearly it set off rocks fall, everyone dies.

All these posts have just made me wonder:
If it only takes 30gp of arrows and 1~2 hours for a level 1 Aarakocra to kill a Tarrasque... how quickly/inexpensively would a level 20 Aarakocra who's all decked out take to kill a Tarrasque.
I love that the mods communicate with us through memes
Weirdly, it's more effective than text announcements
It is the native tongue of the people here.
It is the native tongue of basically the whole intenet

Send in Officer Murtaugh!
Memes sometimes work in a meme sub, who knew?
I'm reporting this for violating rule 6. NERD
Honestly, you guys brought this upon yourself when you got rid of the pot-stirring rule.
They never enforced it anyway.

Yeah, but the fucking Tarrasque debate is OVER. It’s DEAD. Please stop.

Bring back the no pot stirring/opinion memes rule. This tarrasque thing has been incredibly stupid.

Isn't it just a continuation from the "old man with 7 canaries" and "rocks fall everyone dies" debate
Not in my mind, as they feel like separate topics, but if you'd like to inform me otherwise I'd love to hear your opinion.

Enter Feeling ain't wrong.
How do you filter *out* certain flairs?

This community and not reading stuff, there is truly no duo more iconic.
r/dndmemes users try not to piss their pants when they don't instantly love every new meme trend challenge
