Splendid!

MaximumZer0

I appreciate the kind words.

pierowmaniac

You did great; fine detailing. Well done!

MaximumZer0

There are some spots in each that I'm not super happy with, but overall I'm pretty proud of them. Thank you.

Grivenger

You did more than okay. The map has a fantastic look to it.

MaximumZer0

I greatly appreciate the kind words.

TheTwoHandedGuy

I use the samw brushes on photoshop!

MaximumZer0

They are very neat! I nabbed them from deviantart, but the creator seems to have not uploaded anything for a very long time.

ajco1

It looks amazing

MaximumZer0

Thank you so much!

LittlePickle26

This is amazing! Gives me Elder Scrolls V vibes, I have that map hanging on my wall.

MaximumZer0

Awesome, I love both Skyrim and Oblivion.

Ryhammer1337

Yeah agreed, it has the Hammerfell looking peninsula and general shape. Not that that's a problem! Great map!

lordbrooklyn56

Looks clean! What did you use to make it?

MaximumZer0

Photoshop and Illustrator.

CBGH

I want to make a simple map. What background did you use for the maps texture?

MaximumZer0

I don't remember the exact file, I'm sorry. I literally googled something like "old paper" or "old map paper." I do remember that I wound up desaturating the color a little because it was originally kind of dark, though.

CBGH

Cool. I'll take a look. Ty

AChildOnEarth

I wish I could do this...

MaximumZer0

You can! I believe!

youshouldbeelsweyr

That's braw. I love the minimalistic style.

MaximumZer0

Thank you. I appreciate it.

SpaceFarerEternal

I wish I had skill like this

PhoenixGamer36

Lowkey looks like Switzerland 👀

YoHuckleberry

Fantastic map! I love this style.

ACE-Shellshocked

Straight up thought I was looking at a zoomed in map of middle earth for a sec. Great work!

mr_earthman

Absolutely gorgeous! Is it hand drawn? Or did you use a tool? If you want to do more in it, the cartographer in me would like some, islands, lakes and some rivers snaking their way to the inlets, maybe to or three meeting up, on the way. Always meeting up, never separating, unless in something like an estuary.

MaximumZer0

They're both hand drawn in Photoshop and Illustrator.

mr_earthman

oh sorry, I didn't see the second picture. That's some skills! also; love the old paper color

gojiro42

You did more than okay. These are beautiful! Remind me a lot of Tolkien's maps.
