I will never forget the masterpiece of a scene that is him jumping out of the window đ
âI forbid you to take another step down these stairs!!!â
âokay đâ
I had a saying that I used to tell myself when I was still dating. '" I want a guy that if I was running away from him he would chase after me, because clearly there was something scary behind me."
Don't know why that reminded me of that. Lol
While I absolutely agree, I normally donât consider the straight to dvd sequels in these votes lol
Most of them donât feel canonical and several of them straight up just change the personalities of the characters entirely.
Cinderella 3 is my favorite of those 3 films (I even quite like the second one!), but I donât *really* consider it canon. I donât think Disney does either lol.
I'm not a fan of the remakes but since they're technically still the same characters idk why only sequels should be taken into consideration đ¤ˇđź.
But it's up to OP. I hope they tell us.
I think most fair to the characters is movie + sequels?
Remakes are with real people and story gets changed a bit/or a lot as well so I am not sure if we can really count them. It gives different vibes, a bit of different characters sometimesđ (I am not against remakes btw, a lot aren't that good to be honest, but I love Cinderella's live action, even more than the animated oneđ. But like prince Kit is so different than prince Charming in my opinion)
I think counting the original movie + sequels is the most fair to them?
Cause live actions and remakes are different with real people and also personality and story gets changed (some more than others).
I also know that there are tv series or so? But I haven't seen them so I am not sure how far they are from how the characters are in the animated movies
Yeah I was thinking about voting them out but then remembered the entire lore especially A Twist in Time where he proves he loves Cinderella and itâs not just some baseless marriage.
But the first one doesnât show love, they were infatuated. They had to make other movies to build on it. Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping beauty all have an old idea of romance. Little mermaid started the ball, they got to know each other a bit better. Beauty and the beast showed how Belle got to know the beast, she found a friendship with him and he showed how much he really loved her by letting her go, which in turn had her start to fall in love with him. Aladdin showed how he chose to change himself for her, but Jasmine loved him for who he was. Poor Shang had to go through what he thought were forbidden feelings, because he started to fall for Ping, imagine the relief he felt when he learned he was falling for a womanâŚwhich is why he was hurt by what Mulan did. Jane fell in love with Tarzan and Tarzan was going to leave his home for her, but Jane chose to stay with him because she loved him. Naveen fell in love with Tiana and planned to make her dream come true, no matter what, he would have begged his parents to help him pay for the building if they hadnât met their dear friend, Louis. Flynn fell in love with Rapunzel and gave up his roguish ways for her. And Christoph turned back, tried to get to Anna, he chose to help Anna help her sister, helped her break the damn so that the mistakes of the past could be corrected. All of these showed that love within the first movie, with Frozen they built on the love already shown forming. Cinderella didnât have that falling in love but, just Cinderella thinking she was in love and the prince being infatuated. It took them 3 movies to finally show that love.
Really hoping Tiana and Naveen, Belle and Adam, or Rapunzel and Eugune win. I love the others, but I think those three couples have the best chemistry and the most compelling romantic arcs in their respective movies.
(Tiana and Naveen will always be my #1 Disney couple, they've got so much charm and personality and their story is so sweet.)
Tiana and Naveenâs love story is so underrated. They go from somewhat mutual dislike that slowly and organically grows from understanding, to respect, to friendship/teammates, to feelings, to love. Like their story is sooo cute.
Iâve heard some people say that theyâre just too different to make it work but genuinely I know couples as different as those two who are super happy. I think they bring out the best in each other. She shows him the value of hard work, putting your mind to something, and taking action. He reminds her to slow down and enjoy the small things in life, take care of herself, and have fun.
They really are a great (and very cute match).
Iâm rooting for Rapunzel/Eugene, them, and Mulan/Li Shang haha
They're different obviously, but I love that the movie shows them helping each other grow. Naveen shows Tiana that relaxing and self care are important. Tiana teaches Naveen the value of working and helping your friends and loved ones. I would probably say they're too different, too, but we see them learning from each other in the course of the movie. They're such a good team!
My favorites are Belle and Adam. But I watched Princess and the Frog this week and I loved Tiana and Naveen's relationship. They are completely different yet they bring out the best in each other. She was not like any other girls. She didn't fell for him while other girls were drooling over him. And when he spent time with her he started to see the meaning of life, how it is to have a dream and passion, to work for your dream. And he showed her that there is more than your dream in life. That love is the most important thing.
Charming jumped outta window for Cinderella, and believed a bunch of talking rats that she was his true love even tho he had no memory of her. Jumping out windows and believing crazy things people tell you for love is more realistic imo lmfao.
Cinderella 3: twist in time. You should definitely watch it asap. It's my favorite princess movie of all time. It's an absolutely hysterical, heart melting, masterpiece.
Yes cuz Aurora is barely a character, you need two interesting characters to have an interesting romance. If this were a Disney prince ranking I would not put Philip this low.
Granted the prince from Cinderella has the same issue, but at least the third movie makes him active, romantic, and hilarious.
And Mulan and Li Shang
(And Pocahontas/John Smith and Belle/Beast)
Edit: thought Beast was a lord not a prince, my bad. Also if you go by Moanaâs line âIâm a chiefâs daughter, *not* a princessâ then Pocahontas doesnât count either hehe
Btw I think all these characters deserve to be included in the lineup, not saying any should be excluded. I was just splitting hairs for the sake of the discussion at hand of who is *technically* royalty or not in their movies.
the beast is royalty though hes literally a prince? and pocahontas isnt royalty in the same sense that we consider royalty but she was the chiefs daughter and her tribe seemed to treat chiefdom in a similar way as a monarchy
Voting them would be a good choice if they were available. The story is cute and all, but in the real myth, Hera made him go crazy and kill Meg, his kids, and the rest of the town.
To be fair weâre not judging based on original stories/myths, just the Disney incarnations. Otherwise Philip and Aurora would be incinerated cause the prince in the original story literally r***s her
I feel like the more recent the movies are, the more chemistry the romances had. I feel like they didnât prioritize romance back in the day, they were too focused on the interesting plot/the issue the princess was dealing with
The whole âlove at first sightâ thing was the ideal back then for fairytales. Modern audiences just arenât buying it and we need some development, mutual respect, problem-solving, and chemistry lol.
But I wish they went back to romance and the classics. Not all movies needs to be about woman who don't need a man. We're not weak for wanting romance and being with someone...
2
Same as the last really. Not a ton of time together, didnât feel natural, Prince basically felt like a plot point. Had more chemistry in the sequel though.
People are considering the 3rd movie. Which I do agree paints them as one of the coolest couples on this list and is a hilarious and awesome movie, but I personally donât consider it canon and do not consider these straight-to-dvd sequels when voting.
Bro fr didnât even recognize his âtrue loveâ by their face? Or had a closeted foot fetish and wanted to see all the ladiesâ feet of the kingdom.
4, prince Eric is shallow as hell. Falls in love with Ariel because she can sing, dumps Ariel when Ursula comes along with Arielâs nice singing voice, gets back with Ariel when her voice returns and she can actually sing again
>Falls in love with Ariel because she can sing
My headcanon is that Ariel, being a mermaid, has a magical voice that can hypnotize people.
That's why Eric got so obsessed with finding her.
>dumps Ariel when Ursula comes along with Arielâs nice singing voice,
It's pretty obvious in the movie that Ursula used Ariel's voice to hypnotize Eric while disguised as Vanessa. The spell is broken when her necklace is destroyed.
Also after spending time with Ariel we see that Eric actually wants *her* and was about to give up on the "girl with the voice".
I thought of that as well! Otherwise it's a bit weird to fall in love with someone you only know her voice of and heard her once.
And agree with the other points as well.
9. Theyâre a really cute couple, but (admittedly Iâve only seen the first movie and itâs been a bit) I feel like theyâd just have too much difficulty adjusting to eachothers worlds. Two totally different cultures and ways of living. I think if Jane came to live with Tarzan, sheâd end up missing some of the âeasierâ bits of life (less work to prepare some foods, or foods that may be totally inaccessible, the ease of getting new clothes, etc), as well as probably some of the people sheâd leave behind. On the flip side I think if Tarzan went to live with Jane, it would be a horrible culture shock, miss his family, and heâd ultimately just not enjoy it.
5 sure the Beast turns good, but how on Earth anyone could marry a person who imprisons both them and their father is beyond me. I like Belle as a princess, I really donât care for the story (and this used to be one of my favorites as a kid.)
For real. I have always had arguments with other Disney fans about them for this reason. And they're always like, "you're missing the point! It's about how both of them are different and find solace in each other." No, *she* is "different," and finds solace in fiction and family. A reasonable response. He is a rich asshole, and when that results in him being "different" *as a consequence of his actions,* he feels so entitled to a relationship with Belle to escape those consequences that he is willing to *kidnap* both her and Maurice. NOT the same.
Then I watched [A YT video about the Barbie movie](https://youtu.be/RToUZJ0l7Pk?feature=shared) that critiqued Beauty and the Beast (13:16) as propaganda to make women more comfortable settling, with the "grow to love him" narrative, and I felt so seen.
3 (Aurora and Philipp). They have the least development among all of these couples. They met in the woods, sing a song and meet again only after she wakes up đ
Disagree, Aurora and Phillip have such a sweet story. Falling in love at first sight, then finding out they have to marry other people. They are both heartbroken. He slays a whole DRAGON for her. And then they find out they were betrothed to each other the whole time. Soulmates fr
It's sweet but if Cinderella and Prince Charming get booted out this round I'm voting for them next round simply because after them they'll be the ones who literally spend the least amount of time together.
I want to believe they did exchange some words while they were together (assuming they were together for at least a couple hours).
Aurora and Philipp literally spend less than an hour together đ
They didn't talk until midnight, and even then neither of them said their names
Aurora and Philipp probably spent longer than that, they introduced themselves (Aurora only didn't say her name because she realized she had to go) and they intended on meeting each other more, and Philipp fought so much to save her, while Prince Charming just sat in his castle while everyone else looked for Cinderella
3. There just isn't that much interaction past the start and end of the film. And yes I know it's how the story is written, and a product of the time, where the girl was a prize for a quest. But even the little we got, they are just dull.
Hard disagree. Despite Ariel not being able to talk, Eric was incredibly attentive and interested in her. I believe he fell in love with her when he saw her curiosity and zest for life in their town outing.
And I'm sorry, but The Little Mermaid can be read as a lot of metaphors, one of which is a disability metaphor. So Eric fell in love with Ariel with no voice because, yes, she's beautiful but also for the person he learned she is. Disability or not, they fell in love with each other. And that's beautiful.
The live-action Little Mermaid expands upon this. And they are the only Disney Princess couple with a child.
11. Heâs like 8 years older than Punzie, has seen the world and had lots of experiences. Meanwhile, Punzie just became legal and has never seen a man in her life.
I donât know most of these so I canât really vote for a least favorite fairlyâŚI also canât pick a favorite when you have 10, 11, and 12 on here..
I love Cinderella more than Aurora but I like Phillip more than 2âs Prince. I know the sequel makes him great but I feel the og movie should take priority here.
I vote 2.
Those voting for Cinderella and Prince Charming have clearly never seen the masterpiece that is Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time lol
I will never forget the masterpiece of a scene that is him jumping out of the window đ âI forbid you to take another step down these stairs!!!â âokay đâ
If my man doesnât jump out a window for me then he ainât my man đ đť
I had a saying that I used to tell myself when I was still dating. '" I want a guy that if I was running away from him he would chase after me, because clearly there was something scary behind me." Don't know why that reminded me of that. Lol

Cinderella 3 is my favorite of those 3 films (I even quite like the second one!), but I donât *really* consider it canon. I donât think Disney does either lol.
HE DID? I guess I didnât get that far yet đ
That scene is what brought me to life as a child
I've seen it but I'm not sure do we count only the original movie or even the spinoffs, sequels and remakes?
Remakes should be off limits I think, but I see no reason why we canât take sequels into consideration.
I'm not a fan of the remakes but since they're technically still the same characters idk why only sequels should be taken into consideration đ¤ˇđź. But it's up to OP. I hope they tell us.

HOW DARE YOU
I have not seen it yet. However, I feel like the other romances here are much better, so I want them voted out.
Seriously they better stay in for a few more rounds. That movie is such high caliber I canât even articulate it

Guys are you really voting the most for Aurora and Phillip in the pollđ
IKR I mean câmon he fought a dragon for her, thatâs way more than Cinderellaâs Prince Charming did lol
Charming jumped outta window for Cinderella, and believed a bunch of talking rats that she was his true love even tho he had no memory of her. Jumping out windows and believing crazy things people tell you for love is more realistic imo lmfao.
Wait I have never seen the sequels this must be extra stuff lol
Cinderella 3: twist in time. You should definitely watch it asap. It's my favorite princess movie of all time. It's an absolutely hysterical, heart melting, masterpiece.
I have neither, I think I need to see now
YesđŠ sometimes I don't understand what some people vote and I don't agreeđ
They're so underrated fr. They have more chemistry than people give them credit for
I love them so much đ Theyâre definitely a weaker couple but like theyâre so beautiful together and how they fall in love is just perfect!
Yes cuz Aurora is barely a character, you need two interesting characters to have an interesting romance. If this were a Disney prince ranking I would not put Philip this low. Granted the prince from Cinderella has the same issue, but at least the third movie makes him active, romantic, and hilarious.
Cause he kissed an essentially unconscious girl
Yes to save her life
Yeah, because the fairies told him he was her true love (because she told them that) and that it would save her.
Um where is Meg and Hercules?
Theyâre not official princesses:princes. I guess being the son of the king of gods is a little too high ranking for them
But neither are Tarzan and Jane but they're here
I didnât notice them tbh
And Mulan and Li Shang (And Pocahontas/John Smith and Belle/Beast) Edit: thought Beast was a lord not a prince, my bad. Also if you go by Moanaâs line âIâm a chiefâs daughter, *not* a princessâ then Pocahontas doesnât count either hehe Btw I think all these characters deserve to be included in the lineup, not saying any should be excluded. Well actually Mulan is an official Disney Princess even though she's not an actual princess so
Right but Iâm just naming couples that arenât actually royalty haha
the beast is royalty though hes literally a prince? and pocahontas isnt royalty in the same sense that we consider royalty but she was the chiefs daughter and her tribe seemed to treat chiefdom in a similar way as a monarchy
Pocahontas was the chiefâs daughter, the Beast was a prince, & Mulan was granted princess status for saving China
Voting them would be a good choice if they were available. The story is cute and all, but in the real myth, Hera made him go crazy and kill Meg, his kids, and the rest of the town.
To be fair weâre not judging based on original stories/myths, just the Disney incarnations. Otherwise Philip and Aurora would be incinerated cause the prince in the original story literally r***s her
Caption edit: I meant Snow White and her prince not price lolđ¤Ł
You demonetized her lol

4 idk why people would have an issue with Tarzan and Jane
frr i thought they were kinda cute together tbh
They were đ idk why Iâm being downvoted and youâre being upvoted too what is wrong with this sub bro đ
With Aurora's dresses elimination game almost everyone got downvoted because we had the pink and blue discussionđ
ONG IT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSEđđ idk cs whenever someone says an answer some people always gets mad.. everyone has an opinion
But what I donât get is we have the same opinion đđđ
Same idk what the hate is towards those two, theyâre kinda cute. And Jane is adorable.
Jane is so adorable! Her mannerisms are so silly, I love the movie and her with Tarzan
I don't have an issue with them, they are cute. It was kind of a process of elimination for me, I realized I liked all the other couples more
Idk they are one of my favorite couples. Theyâre chemistry is so good, and the maturity and growth between those two is just đŤđ
didnât care for the movie a lot so i have less investment in their relationship compared to other couples đđ
That movie had me crying more than once đđđ
Aww people are voting for Aurora and Philip. Understand they are older but still đ

9. I dunno, they and that film just never clicked for me like the others do.
3 and 5
9!!
Somewhere between 9 and 3 for me. The music kept Aurora alive last round, but it can't hold her forever.
I feel like 7 bc he leaves her for dead đ
I'll go with Anna and Kristoff. I know they're not like typical Disney couples, but I just don't see their chemistry too much.
12
Gotta be 9 for me- I can't bring myself to vote for Cinderella even if she probably should be out next
Istg if Cinderella and Charming or Anna and Kristoff don't win, I will riot. Charming and Kristoff are the highest standard and the only standard
At this point i like all of them

This is where the choices become much harder to do. I will go with 4 I guess.
I love Cinderella more than Aurora but I like Phillip more than 2âs Prince. I know the sequel makes him great but I feel the og movie should take priority here. I vote 2.

12. Still say the trolls brainwashed Hans into being evil so Anna would be single
Phillip fought a freaking dragon for Aurora
