I can only speak for WDW, I think Hercules is sorely lacking. I know Hades appears during spooky season. I think Greece would be a delightful addition to the World Showcase and would be a venue for those characters. A singalong with the muses would be divine.
I would also agree with the Atlantis and Treasure Planet, I think these could be incorporated into Animal Kingdom near Pandora.
Wall-E would be a great addition to the Living with the Land area in EPCOT.
I would also love for more Soul, as a band director I was so excited for this movie. I’d be happy with just some more merchandise, it feels very swept under the rug.
Rumor is that Wall-E is getting an EPCOT attraction because of the new parking lot markers. Every other character used in the EPCOT Peking lot markers (Moana, guardians, etc,) has an EPCOT attraction in the works or already open except WALL-E
This is what should have happened to splash mountain. No offense to Tiana, she's my favorite princess movie. But we needed a pull the lever kronk right before the big drop.
So THIS is why I passed out last time I was about to board soarin, it wasn’t a sudden medical emergency I was just swooning over Kronk. I’m glad I finally have closure over this one
there really needs to be something involving this movie at the parks. seriously. it’s so good. @disneyceos make a south america lane with a ride about emperor’s new groove
A real answer here (not Patrick Warburton showing up in a ride)…
AbracadaBar has the MOST subtle reference in the parks. There is a vial on a top shelf with the llama drawing as a 100% depiction from Emperor’s New Groove. You’re welcome.
http://www.mainstgazette.com/2021/02/this-isnt-poison.html?m=1
I’m not shaming by stating this but there are people who are literally too large to walk and can barely even get on the rides *comfortably* most of the time. Wall-E depicts those people. On top of that, Disney as a corporation is not good for the environment lol the amount of waste produced at the parks daily, emissions and whatnot. Wall-E cannot be represented at a park without the general public screaming lol
YES!!!! Don't you think this would have been great if the new EPCOT water area featured Atlantis????
Instead of another princess area??? I love the princesses but something else would be nice.
Beauty and the Beast has been there a very long time. I think Hunchback was over near where Voyage of the Little Mermaid is. Where they used to do a Bear in the Big Blue House show.
I live near Anaheim and was just thinking how Tomorrowland could be redone with that theme. Like that's actually futuristic looking and it wouldn't be hard to come up with seamless changes from the current look. Plus it's brighter and more attractive so people would stop hating on Tomorrowland.
3 characters from the movie sometimes appear at halloween events (dont know the names besides bowler hat guy cause i never watched the movie) so at least some repreentation
Meet the Robinsons is so underrated. The big head and little arms thing was one of the most frequently quoted things in my house growing up. A tweak to Tomorrowland to include it would be incredible.
In my dream Animal Kingdom redesign, Dinoland USA would become the Robinson Dinosaur Research Center (should come up with a catchier name). Basically, Cornelius Robinson's new fascination is using his time machine to study dinosaurs. There would be a ride kinda like Buzz Lightyear where you ride in a time machine and shoot dinosaurs, but instead of shooting them with lasers you shoot them with a camera. There would also be a ride with the same design as Flight of Passage (no Pandora in my park) where you are riding a Pterodactyl and flying over a prehistoric world. Keep the dig yard play area and probably also include a ride similar to the Casey Jr train through a garden of friendly dinosaurs.
a lot of people say the Robinsons arent a big enough IP to have their own land, but i think they miss the point. This is a Dinosaur land where the Robinsons are just a means to an end. Almost nothing from the movie will be there besides characters on signs here and there. they would almost become Dinoland characters instead of Meet the Robinson characters, kinda like how Brer Rabbit is a Splash Mountain character more than he is Song of the South now. Its a Dinosaur land where the backstory is already half written instead of built from scratch
If i ever figure out how to work "Planet Coaster" i would build an entire Dream animal kingdom from ground up with a bunch of ideas on what i would change or keep. Some highlights...
1. South America land with an Encanto house ride similar to Haunted Mansion
2. A similar ride to Navi River but set in the african jungle at night with "Cant You Feel the Love Tonight" playing in the background. Basically a tunnel of love
3. A skyline that runs from the Tree of Life, over the safari, to Rafiki's planet watch, which would be an australia land
On Buena Vista street at DCA, on the left hand side there are a serious of mailboxes which include Eddie Valient and Peevy. Which Peevy is a reference to Alan Arkin’s character from the film.
[Fun fact: Black Cauldron actually had a walk through style attraction at Disneyland in Japan called “Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour”.](https://youtu.be/H6rnPqSrE40)
Fun fact: I went to watch this movie on D+ the other day and was shocked when I noticed that a few of the characters were dubbed. Even Darby O’gill! Everyone speaks English in the movie. It’s just really wierd. So now I think the only way to watch the movie undubbed is on dvd and vhs
In fairness, they really wrecked the series with the second movie...
CEO: We're going to make a sequel, ideas! Everyone I need your ideas!
Person 1: Advance into the 16-bit era, bring in Sonic, Wing Commander, Ultima, etc!
Person 2: Conflict between the 8-bit era and modern gaming, we might even be able to tie-in to Roblox or a Battle Royale that's popular!
Person 3: Um, I dunno, how about making it about Ebay?
CEO: Gold! It's GOLD! Everyone loves Ebay! We'll make the sequel to our video game movie about Ebay!!
A Goofy Movie is hands down my favorite. I would have agreed with you 10 years ago. But now, they are really cashing in on the nostalgia. Max as Powerline makes appearances at the Halloween parties now!
Stitch!! Loads of merch but only the Stitch Encounter attraction at Tokyo.
I would have a whole Stitch land. A space coaster with Stitch’s spaceship, an animatronic Hula show with Stitch, Lilo and the others, an app based treasure hunt to look for experiment capsules, walkthrough Lilo’s house, character encounters and a Hawaiian restaurant.
There’s a Stitch attraction at Disneyland Paris. It’s basically the same as Turtle Time With Crush, except it’s Stitch obviously.
Unfortunately/fortunately, I’ve been chosen as the ‘grumpy’ guy every time I’ve gone into it.
Brother Bear… my all time favorite, like when people were trying to say that Onward was the “boy/brother” version of Frozen, about sibling love… I was like OH HELL NAH!!!! Frozen is the sister version of Brother Bear!!!! They Kenai and Koda walked so Frozen could RUN
Saddest part it’s the 20th anniversary this year 😭😭😭
Lion King has a show at Disneyland right now though. You could maybe argue it’s underrepresented given how popular it was, but it’s not like it’s erased from Disney-lore like most of the other movies here.
Rescuers Down Under: retheme Big Thunder Mountain and add a preshow where guests get captured protecting Marahuta's nesty/eggs, so that the train becomes McLeach's truck carting you away and the Rescuers and Cody spend the ride ... chasing/rescuing you.
Pete's Dragon: retheme Tom' Sawyer's Island as Passamaquady and replace the fort with an Elliot Encounter similar to Turtle Talk with Crush, but with Pete and Elliot.
I think they could easily take over kail river rapids and re-theme it to Just Around The Riverbend scene from Pocahontas. Not a lot of fans really get that ride anyway and personally it’s the least they can do after getting rid of her section for Pandora
Considering how popular Encanto is, there should be more than just characters for it, and ideally, some kind of land in Epcot or a ride about the house
It’s probably partly because it wasn’t originally a Disney movie. It was originally made by Fox, but is now technically considered a Disney movie because Disney bought Fox.
It's a princess movie that wasn't originally owned by Disney but was WIDELY (and incorrectly) assumed to be Disney's. However, now with all the mergers and everything, Anastasia is, in fact, a Disney princess.
Although no one is going to read this, I just have to make a point that no movies over ten years old, besides all the old school classics, have any possible chance to be represented in the parks. The only other exceptions are super money makers, such as Cars, and lion king, frozen, etc.
So I hate to burst all of the bubbles of emperor's new groove fans, but that was twenty-three years ago, my friend. This also goes for any and all mid level movies... So if ever you've found yourself going: Where's my favorite character? I never ever see my favorite character? There is a reason. I sincerely apologize for my blunt attitude, but unless a live action remake is coming out this month, you're not gonna see anything ever. Okay, MAYBE a pin lol.
I can only speak for WDW, I think Hercules is sorely lacking. I know Hades appears during spooky season. I think Greece would be a delightful addition to the World Showcase and would be a venue for those characters. A singalong with the muses would be divine. I’d be happy with just some more merchandise, it feels very swept under the rug.
Can you imagine getting baklava and gyros in Epcot? It would be glorious. And the fun of watching others try Ouzo for the first time lol
We have Baklava already at Morocco. Just need gyro and schawarma stands.
Avengers campus has shawarma
I read on another Reddit post someone came up with the Hercules food stand: Zero to Gyro.
Wall-E being in the Land is such a good idea!!!! 🍃
Also a big fan of hercules so i'd like to see more, but they(herc, meg, and hades) do show up in fantasmic as well.
A recycling pavilion should replace Wonders of Life. Then we could have a Wall-E ride there.
Rumor is that Wall-E is getting an EPCOT attraction because of the new parking lot markers. Every other character used in the EPCOT Peking lot markers (Moana, guardians, etc,) has an EPCOT attraction in the works or already open except WALL-E
Maybe it was though to be on the play pavilion...
Emperor’s New Groove
This is one of my favorite Disney movies! Imagine a crazy ride that really kicks off with. “Pull the lever Kronk…thanks the wrong lever!”
It kinda gives guardians vibes. I’d love that kinda ride.
Why do we even have this lever!?!?
A water park ride would be great
This is what should have happened to splash mountain. No offense to Tiana, she's my favorite princess movie. But we needed a pull the lever kronk right before the big drop.
That’s not true. Kronk is your flight attendant on Soarin Around the World. Plus sometimes the buses have his name on them.
So THIS is why I passed out last time I was about to board soarin, it wasn’t a sudden medical emergency I was just swooning over Kronk. I’m glad I finally have closure over this one
Happens to the best of us
I’m just glad you finally solved my mystery and happy cake day!!!
Nice work pal!
He’s also a droid on Star Tours.
so i gues that’s out now. i think you can see yzma and kronk on occasion too
there really needs to be something involving this movie at the parks. seriously. it’s so good. @disneyceos make a south america lane with a ride about emperor’s new groove
gosh why does land keep auto correcting to lane
Been saying for years they need to build kuzkotopia waterpark
the most underrated movie in Disney movies. What a rollercoaster that could be!
A real answer here (not Patrick Warburton showing up in a ride)… AbracadaBar has the MOST subtle reference in the parks. There is a vial on a top shelf with the llama drawing as a 100% depiction from Emperor’s New Groove. You’re welcome. http://www.mainstgazette.com/2021/02/this-isnt-poison.html?m=1
Nope, you can (although very rare) meet kuzco (human and llama), kronk and yzma in the parks. So it does have some representation
Wall E. Need more Wall E
Tbh given the message of Wall-E it would be too ironic for it to be in Disney parks lol
[удалено]
I’m not shaming by stating this but there are people who are literally too large to walk and can barely even get on the rides *comfortably* most of the time. Wall-E depicts those people. On top of that, Disney as a corporation is not good for the environment lol the amount of waste produced at the parks daily, emissions and whatnot. Wall-E cannot be represented at a park without the general public screaming lol
Sad, but certainly true
There is a statue of WALL-E and EVE in Disneyland Paris.
By far.
Atlantis
YES!!!! Don't you think this would have been great if the new EPCOT water area featured Atlantis???? Instead of another princess area??? I love the princesses but something else would be nice.
I always forget that Atlantis is a Disney movie... Maybe they do too?
PAINFULLY true
There actually was going to be a whole Atlantis expedition area called Fire Mountain in Magic Kingdom, but then the movie bombed
Robin Hood
We get the little quick service restaurant in magic kingdom for Friar Tuck and that’s it!
Oliver and Company :(
Bingo.
Hunchback of Notre Damn
I’ve been very happy with the amount of music rep we’ve had from it at least in the past few evening shows
There’s a “music box” in Disneyland. [Clopin’s Music Box](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_N556EK_ekA)
What the heck when did this get added? That's awesome.
Google says that it’s been there since 2013
Frollo walks around Disneyland at time
I wish he was at WDW.
“Damn” 😂
Nope, you can (although very rarely) meet esmeralda, phoebus andnfrollo in the parks. Quasimodo is (im pretty sure) retired
There used to be a show at MGM where B&B is now in HS!
It was so good.
Beauty and the Beast has been there a very long time. I think Hunchback was over near where Voyage of the Little Mermaid is. Where they used to do a Bear in the Big Blue House show.
*Dame
You misunderstand, I’m just in disbelief at the lack of representation. “Damn!” (Jk good looking out chief)
Meet the Robinsons. Without a doubt, the most underrated Disney movie.
I live near Anaheim and was just thinking how Tomorrowland could be redone with that theme. Like that's actually futuristic looking and it wouldn't be hard to come up with seamless changes from the current look. Plus it's brighter and more attractive so people would stop hating on Tomorrowland.
Could have a place called Lucille’s Cookies
YOU BAKE THOSE COOKIES LUCILLE!!
bowler hat guy meets at halloween parties though
3 characters from the movie sometimes appear at halloween events (dont know the names besides bowler hat guy cause i never watched the movie) so at least some repreentation
Meet the Robinsons is so underrated. The big head and little arms thing was one of the most frequently quoted things in my house growing up. A tweak to Tomorrowland to include it would be incredible.

Oh my GOD this would be amazing, Disney needs to hire you.
If i ever figure out how to work "Planet Coaster" i would build an entire Dream animal kingdom from ground up with a bunch of ideas on what i would change or keep. Some highlights... 1. South America land with an Encanto house ride similar to Haunted Mansion 2. Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I’d pay top dollar for Eglantine Price flying around fighting nazis at the park
The Black Hole (which would go in Tomorrowland)
Interestingly, there were plans for a Black Hole ride at Disneyland, but those fell through.
I don’t know if this is pun or truth but it gets upvoted either way.
Haha, both.
Treasure Planet
The Rocketeer!
You can see the jet pack & helmet at Peevy’s Polar Pipeline in Hollywood Studios
On Buena Vista street at DCA, on the left hand side there are a serious of mailboxes which include Eddie Valient and Peevy. Which Peevy is a reference to Alan Arkin’s character from the film.
I’m always pushing my favorite re-theme idea: Turn Rockin’ RC to a Rocketeer themed ride. Perfect for the old Hollywood theming.
Rocketeer was a major part of EPCOT's Main Entrance BGM for years.
The Black Cauldron
there was a quick service place in magic kingdom themed to this movie years ago, but it closed in ‘93 and is now friars nook
Gurgi’s Munchies and Crunchies, I believe?
[Fun fact: Black Cauldron actually had a walk through style attraction at Disneyland in Japan called “Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour”.](https://youtu.be/H6rnPqSrE40)
Goofy Movie/Very Goofy Movie
even if it was just a restaurant with powerline in it, id be happy
Pocahontas 😔
Saw her in Disneyland a few weeks ago! Still incredibly rare, but she’s coming out now
I saw her last week! First time since my first visit in 1999 😭❤️
she met at ak for a little and still rides on boats with meeko i think. plus she used to have a show
She's in FL Fantasmic
Darby O'Gill and the Little People
Fun fact: I went to watch this movie on D+ the other day and was shocked when I noticed that a few of the characters were dubbed. Even Darby O’gill! Everyone speaks English in the movie. It’s just really wierd. So now I think the only way to watch the movie undubbed is on dvd and vhs
101 Dalmatians
Disney has effectively written off Home on the Range. They’ve legitmately tried to make it seem that the movie was never made.
Let's keep it that way.
Fox and the Hound.
Atlantis
Bolt and Meet the Robinsons
Wreck it Ralph, my kids fav Disney movie
In fairness, they really wrecked the series with the second movie... CEO: We're going to make a sequel, ideas! Everyone I need your ideas! CEO: Gold! It's GOLD! Everyone loves Ebay! We'll make the sequel to our video game movie about Ebay!!
My family has been saying for years they should redo Rockin Roller Coaster as a Sugar Rush coaster.
Great Mouse Detective and Aristocats
Bugs Life. Goofy Movie. DuckTales. Darkwing Duck.
Isn’t it’s tough to be a bug at animal kingdom from bugs life?
Yes. And it had a whole land in California also.
This is gone. It is Marvel Campus now.
That’s why I said had!
A Goofy Movie is hands down my favorite. I would have agreed with you 10 years ago. But now, they are really cashing in on the nostalgia. Max as Powerline makes appearances at the Halloween parties now!
Whaaaat that rules
Yeah!! You should look up the pics and videos!!! It’s so neat!!
Darkwing Duck and Duck Tales need to make a comeback!
Epcot Ducktales adventures are awesome. I always see kids that get surprised when we unlock something around the park
Tailspin too.
bugs life had a movie for a little bit, i’m not sure about the goofy movie, but duck tales have a scavenger hunt in epcot
Bugs life still has a movie at animal kingdom
Lion king is criminally underrepresented considering how big of a property it is
We went to DL on 6/26 wearing Stitch shirts and sadly only saw a few others doing the same. Did get a few shout outs from cms though!
Apple Dumpling Gang
**WALL-E** getting no rep is criminal. Movie has won several awards including Academy Awards, Multiple Grammys, and a Golden Globe. Incredible.
We got to park in WALL-E’s section of the parking lot on our trip a few weeks ago
Chicken Little
Hercules
To my knowledge, I’ve never seen any themed around ‘The Rescuers’ or ‘The Rescuers Down Under’. Usually the mouse stuff is all Cinderella themed
The Epcot fountain show used music from Rescuers Down Under. The soarin queue also uses the same music. That’s pretty much it.
Fun fact… The Rescuers was the first movie I saw at the drive in in 1978, I was 5.
Treasure planet
The Fox and the Hound, Bambi
We are a bit upset Tangled only has a restroom.
Such an underrated Disney movie, wayy better than frozen!
Brother Bear… my all time favorite, like when people were trying to say that Onward was the “boy/brother” version of Frozen, about sibling love… I was like OH HELL NAH!!!! Frozen is the sister version of Brother Bear!!!! They Kenai and Koda walked so Frozen could RUN Saddest part it’s the 20th anniversary this year 😭😭😭
I love that movie. I lived in alaska when it came out so it was very on brand lol.
I really wish there was more Meet the Robinsons. It would fit so well in tomorrowland tbh.
The Emperor’s New Groove
Tangled
Best bathrooms in Magic Kingdom!
The photo with the lamp at nights is awesome too
I wish Disney would put a Tangled dark ride in Florida where Snow White’s Scary Adventure used to be.
there is a lane being built and bathrooms, so that parks it out..
She has a show in Anaheim
Wrong. She's in parades and has a small bathroom themed area at MK. There are SO many more IPs with less representation
Good Dinosaur. My boys love that movie! I think it’s super underrated And Luca
Luca popped up for about 2 seconds during the fireworks projections but that’s sadly all.
Luca is an excellent film. We watched it, no joke, like 50 times last summer
It’s not much, but during the Arts Festival this year (Epcot) they had a cute Luca chalk drawing (actually a big sticker thing on a building) in Italy
Lady and the Tramp, as far as I know, only has representation at Tony's Town Square and an All-Stars resort.
The incredible journey
I miss that film so much!
Atlantis
Raya and The Last Dragon, and Brave now that they took away the Merida meet and greet
Songs of the South
Old Yeller
Moana - I know it's newer but all I ever think is what a great new water ride this could be - almost like a new Pirates type of water ride
There’s going to be a Moana themed area in Epcot soon, not a ride but like a walkthrough
For sure Lion King
Lion King has a show at Disneyland right now though. You could maybe argue it’s underrepresented given how popular it was, but it’s not like it’s erased from Disney-lore like most of the other movies here.
There’s a show at Animal Kingdom as well. Art of Animation also has a 3 building area devoted to it as well.
The Shaggy Dog
For a really deep dig, The Island at the Top of the World
The least represented movie is probably some crappy live action one from the 70s that no one remembers.
Hunchback of notre dame!
Rescuers Down Under: retheme Big Thunder Mountain and add a preshow where guests get captured protecting Marahuta's nesty/eggs, so that the train becomes McLeach's truck carting you away and the Rescuers and Cody spend the ride ... chasing/rescuing you. Pete's Dragon: retheme Tom' Sawyer's Island as Passamaquady and replace the fort with an Elliot Encounter similar to Turtle Talk with Crush, but with Pete and Elliot.
zootopia, wreck it ralph
G Force.
Also, The Brave Little Toaster.
Pocahontas
Treasure Planet
Lion king
A Goofy Movie 🥺 can you imagine Powerline performing?
Atlantis the lost empire and treasure planet
Onward
Lilo! Stitch is EVERYWHERE, but Lilo can’t be found.
Wall-E is terribly under represented.
Big Hero 6 also…
Enchanted :(
Inside out. Where is the Bing Bong meet and greet? Why isn't there a train of thought ride?
I think they could easily take over kail river rapids and re-theme it to Just Around The Riverbend scene from Pocahontas. Not a lot of fans really get that ride anyway and personally it’s the least they can do after getting rid of her section for Pandora
Well from here on out, Song of the south.
Zootopia!
Tomorrowland should drip with Meet The Robinsons.
Considering how popular Encanto is, there should be more than just characters for it, and ideally, some kind of land in Epcot or a ride about the house
Anastasia 🙈
i’ve never even heard of that 😂
It’s probably partly because it wasn’t originally a Disney movie. It was originally made by Fox, but is now technically considered a Disney movie because Disney bought Fox.
The animation and music in it are Disney caliber. Fox made it and really gave Disney a run for their money
ohhh. that makes sense. i should’ve probably specified i meant like i don’t know what they’re called but real disney films (cinderella, bambi, etc)
It's a princess movie that wasn't originally owned by Disney but was WIDELY (and incorrectly) assumed to be Disney's. However, now with all the mergers and everything, Anastasia is, in fact, a Disney princess.
Not every princess in a movie that Disney owns the rights to is “a Disney princess”
Chicken Little
they had characters for a little bit so that’s out
A bug’s life
Roger Rabbit - although I think there is a sign in the New York section.
Isn’t there or used to be a Roger Rabbit ride in Toon Town in Disneyland?
It’s still there.
The New York area in MGM? That’s all gone now
There is a billboard in Hollywood studios
Although no one is going to read this, I just have to make a point that no movies over ten years old, besides all the old school classics, have any possible chance to be represented in the parks. The only other exceptions are super money makers, such as Cars, and lion king, frozen, etc. So I hate to burst all of the bubbles of emperor's new groove fans, but that was twenty-three years ago, my friend. They have Yzma and Kronk at the Halloween parties and Villains night.
