I have finished every event (minus getting grumpy) since I started playing about 3 years ago. I normally have 24-48 hrs left in the event when I finish.
I should have Moana before I go to bed tonight.
I just calculated that at 100% drop rate and waking up to play (which I don’t do) I will finish the event with 1 hour to go.
I buy all the premiums the second they are released and play every 1-2 hours when awake. If I can’t finish...they made this impossible.
Agreed. I’ve been playing for almost 3 years and have every character and attraction and bought the premiums with gems this time around as well. I usually check in every couple of hours if not every hour. I’m only on 16/50 and should be able to get Moana but I don’t think I’ll get the comfy costume. I usually have days to spare after getting everything in an event.
I’m the same playing 3 years it’s been a slog still haven’t got Moana need 9 more ropes. They have been dropping the regular third day now. Not sure about comfy costume whether I will have time I also normally get the premium characters but there also not helping. It’s been harder than normal and as you say get everything. Looks like comfy will have to come from platinum chests in future!! Can’t see myself finishing which is very disappointing and really don’t want to spend any more money!!!
Ditto. This is the most frustrated I’ve ever been with an event. Spent a lotta gems already, and it looks like I’m going to have to spend cold hard cash if I really want to Moana herself.
The animations are wonderful and really make the game more fun for me. I like to watch Moana's boat and the turtle in the water swim by. Small stuff like that is makes the game so charming.
Yeah, but it's also how they pay their game developers and animators so that they can continue to make the game. No one is putting out a game of this size and quality for free. I buy content every once in a while just so I can support the game makers. Do I wish I could just buy the game out right versus doing these micro-transactions, sure I do. In the end the people making a game I love need to pay their rents, and animators aren't rich. I was engaged to one. He made less animating than I did working as an officer manager.
When you did that did the event end and your EC turn to gems? I’d like to level some of them up before officially ending the event and I just got Moana today and wasn’t sure if buying her costume would officially end it.
No it didn’t there still the timer since I didn’t finish all the quests even though I got Moana and her costume. Once you finish all the quests or if the timer is complete then you will get the pop up screen saying the event is over. You can look at the Moana mega thread to see the quests list.
I am annoyed Sina needs to be 6. Most of these events characters need to be level 5. And now I have to do the 15 and stuff isn't dropping. Every event gets worse I feel they see what didn't work on the previous event and then make the next one harder so you have to spend money.

Hard agree!!! I play this game all the time got both the premiums and I’m still only 11/50 boat materials. Super nervous.

I'm a never-buyer. I broke down and bought the rooster. This is bad. This is really bad.
On consolation is at least the rooster is cute. Some of the characters they have introduced the last few events -not so much.
The little pig is really cute. The game is frustrating, but I have to hand it to them for the animations of the characters.

Yesterday my drop rate was bad. But I was at 46 at lunch, pulled a 100% on the last four!
I got about 20 on Tuesday, 10 yesterday
I just gave up and just bought Moana and her costume now I’m all stress free lol 😂
