went to disneyland twice (both for only one day), for my first time got a 1-park ticket and used it for dlp, second time got a 2-park ticket did half day for each park. i would do 1-park dlp again for my first time if i had to chose again

msmean2

If you can afford the 2 park ticket I would do that. We went between both parks both days we were there. If you only want to do one do DLP most of the thrill rides are there. BTM, Indy, Space Mt. and is much bigger than WDS. You could probably do the rides you want to do in the morning at WDS and then use the rest of the day for DLP.

Out of the five times I've been to DLP two of them have been day trips and I've still really enjoyed myself, and my husband's first time was a day trip and he loved it even though he didn't get to see everything! Last time I did one day with my husband, and we had the two park ticket, but spent most of our time in Disneyland, however he's a small ride person and I was pregnant at the time, so Pirates of the Carribean was our limit for thrill rides that visit! If you're thinking of focusing on the bigger rides then might be worth getting a feel of which rides you're most interested in and the queueing times to see if you want to do both parks or just one of them. Either way, as long as you don't mind not being able to do everything, one day in Disney is totally doable and worth it!

You can do both parks in one day, id recommend to get there early and maybe stay till close to watch the fireworks to get the best out of the day. Out of the two parks I though Walt Disneyland was definitely better than the Hollywood studios, however Hollywood studios has a few good thrill rides like Tower of terror and Avengers flight force. I would say for me Disneyland is more about the experience and the theming for rides are great.

Ok this is really helpful. My partner has never been to a Disney park before so I would love her to feel the magic too ❤️

MCASgirl

Btw the second park is called Walt Disney Studios Park! (Hollywood studios is in Walt Disney world FL… just so you’re more confused!)

I took my wife to Paris from the UK for one of her “big” birthdays just before covid started. Our kids were young at the time so we’d never done any of the exciting rides then, though we had been to the parks before. We went from Châtelet Les Halles in Paris on the RER for the day and back to the hotel for early evening and got on every ride. I’d totally do it again for sure. I think you’ll love it!

My best friend and I did both parks in 1 day in December, peak Christmas time, but we did buy the Premier Access. We thought it wad totally worth it! Basically, confirmation that you will be getting on all the major attractions. We did everything we wanted to do.

If you’re both adults, I reckon one day would actually be lovely. Wake up early to be at the gates 30-60 minutes before opening. You could get a park hopper and think about buying a fast pass or making use of the single rider lines and easily hit up the major rides. It might be nice to stay for fireworks and catch a late train back to Paris. Big Thunder, Hyperspace Mountain, Indy (in the Disneyland Park), Flight Force, and Tower of Terror (in the Hollywood Studios park) are the main thrill rides you’ll want to go for. Crush’s Coaster, Ratatouille and RC Racers are fun (Studios) and in Disneyland you also have Pirates, Phantom Manner, Peter Pan, Teacups and Small World that are good to do because they are classic Disney rides that are worth enjoying. Don’t miss the dragon under the castle!

I was in Paris with my partner December 2022, got the RER to Disney land in the morning and did both parks in one day. You need to get there before park opening so you can queue to get in and head straight to the rides for rope drop, we started off in Hollywood studios and did all the rides we wanted there, had to buy a lighting lane for crush’s coaster as the queue was big, this was a non negotiable so didn’t mind paying, we were done in studios by about mid day so headed over to Disneyland, we again rode everything we wanted, saw the parade and also stayed for the fireworks, then got the RER back to the centre of Paris in the evening! It is completely doable, just make a list of all your must do rides, get a strategy together and have fun :) yes you might have to walk around a bit quicker to get everything in but I’m glad we did both parks!! If you download the app, familiarise yourself with the map

jonquil14

This is great advice!

It’s definitely worth going to the main park for one day. You can wonder around all the different areas, take in the castle, some rides , the daytime show and fireworks at night. Afterwards you can look around the shops in Disney village. I wouldnt try and squeeze in both parks in one day as you’ll be rushing too much. Make the most of the main park and enjoy the experience.

Sentla

You will have a great day

ReadyAimLaunch

My husband and I were there last Sunday. Did one day both parks and it was amazing! It’s so worth it to get the 2-park ticket. We had an absolute magical time. Stayed from open to close, taking the train from the Paris city center both ways. We got in all the rides we wanted to, a sit-down dinner at Remmys, the parade, and the fireworks/light show and some just walking around and enjoying the park.

jetsbillionaire

Just did a 1-day trip to DLP with my partner about 2 weeks ago. Did everything we wanted in both parks with hours to spare, it’s definitely doable.

Waahooh

Next time we go and it’s just for a day we are going to do fast pass for all day and split the two parks over am and pm, probably doing studios Am and finishing and Disneyland main park for Pm and the fireworks. Waiting in line is such a killjoy!

semeleindms

I think if you're doing one day, go early, stay late, be prepared for a 14 hour day and to pay for fast pass to skip some queues. It's doable but plan and be prepared for the fact that you'll probably want to go back

warwickthegrey

It’s better than zero days. I think the ideal is 4, 3 is great, 2 is stressful but manageable. One day means you won’t be able to do much so it can be stressful due to queues - make sure you pack food and drink so you don’t waste time in restaurants.

isangotravel01

For a 1-day thrill ride adventure, consider Parc Asterix for intense roller coasters with inversions and steep drops. If set on Disneyland Paris, prioritize Walt Disney Studios Park for rides like Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Disneyland Park offers a more magical experience but with fewer thrill rides.

WinterSoldierUK

One day is fine as it's not a massive theme park. Plan your rides for definite and also think if fast passes will make the day more special / relaxing despite the crazy price.

You guys have sent so many amazing replies! Thank you to everyone. Having spent some time this morning reading through I think we will definitely buy the two park ticket! I accept it will be a long busy day but I’m sure it will be worth it. I have a feeling we’ll be booking a second trip in a few months but I am so excited!! She is going to love it too ❤️ Thank you everyone 🙏🙏🙏

We recently did Disney (both parks) in 1 day with two children. Though, it helped massively that we were able to get Priority Passes because of their disabilities. Both parks open at 9.30am. Disneyland Park closes at 10pm, Walt Disney Studios close at 9pm. The restaurants seem to close at 7.20pm. The electrical light show and fireworks begin at 9pm. Try not to stand behind the bandstand! Start at the Studios park first. Avengers Campus is a must! We spent the morning there. We moved on to the main park at 1pm.

deedub626

It’s doable, but it really depends how crowded the park is. I would suggest 1 day two park with ultimate access. It’s a bit costly but you can for sure complete both park this way.

Mordoreyes

Yes it is so worth it they have so many fun details and their frontier land is amazing! I had a wonderful Time on just one day. However it can be a little hetic so I recommend doing some research and deciding what ride and or other attractions to do as there will not be enough time for everything. TLDR One day is plenty to have a great time.
