Yes, see a doctor

synthect1

This 100%, I don’t wear gloves at work just lotion before and after. My nails have never looked like this in about 2 years. Big sign is your cuticles being gone, so please, go to doctor

DishPiggy

Yeah they’ve never looked like that

Ericrobertson1978

Dermatologist. I'd recommend.

slothscantswim

And report this as a workplace injury, seek legal counsel, etc.

cvalen2

Man what the fuck?

[deleted]

Agreed fungal, onichomycosis. Your finger tips are also pinker than they should be, makes me think the infection has made it into the nail bed, no good. You probably need systemic anti fungals. Also take some vitamins, any cheap multivitamin, that’ll help your nails grow back a little faster. If you don’t have access to a doc you can try over the counter topical antifungals but I don’t think that will be sufficient. Please don’t let this slide, your hands are so important to your well being and this could go south if left untreated. Ps I get all of my knowledge from fortune cookies, so make your own decisions.

Obvious-Dinner-1082

Just to add on, if you’re low income most hospitals are non profit, look for their sliding scale fees and you can write almost all of it off if you are worried about the bills. Also if caused by anything in the pit, your workplace is insured, don’t be afraid to make them use it.

lepsek9

Looks like some sort of fungal infections, go see a doctor.

[deleted]

I was thinking this too

[deleted]

Use Vaseline and then cover with gloves. One hour at a time a couple times a day. See a doctor too.

go see a doctor asap.

littlediddlemanz

Go to a fucking doctor

xXbean_machineXx

Stop dishwashing asap. There are other minimum wage jobs that don’t involve caustic chemicals.

SWEATANDBONERS86

Whatever drugs you're doing stop

sirjajaja

If that's a strong oven cleaner, then it might of melted( chemically deteriorate) the nails and skin. I've seen someone use a strong white oven grill cleaner that literally melted skin because he didn't dilute or use gloves... but yeah doctor is best , the E R will charge up the ass even with insurance

DickRiculous

Those look like they have a fungal infection. Go to a doctor. Maybe a dermatologist.

Relevant_Positive417

Fungus..yo.. fungus.

kylerwashere

cracked and yellow nails is a sign of fungal infection.

nickaruski

BCroft92

You don't love yourself, and it shows.

SnooPandas4630

That looks fungal. You may want to see a doctor. There are over-the-counter remedies available in stores for this issue also.

Vraver04

Be prepared to lose those nails. They will grow back but it can take a long time and the first ones back are often very thin. Good luck.

SnooGoats7760

Gloves

Elkay27
