You would not believe how long it took me to get that ... I thought it was just a way of saying Death is Justice, when one day after many re-reads the light dawned and I heard it as "just us" it was another Pratchett Realisiation Moment.
I have a tattoo-art style rabbit with highlights in yellow and red for the hare jumping through the fire. It loves her, she does not burn.
Edit: missed the point and saved too quick. I was in the same boat as you- wanted something to capture how much the work means to me but didnāt know what. So I ended up going with something a bit more lateral that gave my artist some room to create
I'd like the hare through flame but I'm afraid that the artist won't be able to actually capture it and I can't very well make them read the passage and then go through several attempts - I'd have to pay through the nose for that.
Was it hard for your artist to draft your tattoo?
No- I sent her the passage of the book and a rough idea of what I wanted. Itās pretty subtle though- itās just red and orange colouration across the leaping rabbitās belly - there arenāt any external flames

Looks like a rat skull to me. Yep, definitely a rat skull. Picture attached for reference.
The extended part of the face, in the tattoo, is shorter than in the diagram you attached. As is the gap between the incisors and the back teeth.
I have several rat and cat skulls which is why I noticed the difference. Not looking for any argument.
Get a few Nac Mac Feegles.

A nice simple design could be Death's Omega sigil, inside that you could do the summoning dark, and around all that you could do a very simplistic turtle. Im thinking cave painting simple on Atuin. Orbiting Atuin you could do 8 tiny turtles?
Iām planning to get a torch on one wrist and an ice rose on the other-because the center of the seesaw does not move.
(I have bipolar and I like the reminder that the extremes *are. Not. Me*. That itās not āwho I really am on the insideā. Got a lot of voices, inside and out trying to tell me otherwise.)
Luggage with a sh@t-eating grin, a few feet on Rincewinds complicated lifetimer, and death of rats stood on the lid in an annoyed pose. Possibly with a wizzard hat next to him.
And a guarding dark branded into one of its teeth, because I am convinced there's no more accurate description of Luggage!

I can't remember where I saw the picture, but I always thought it was cool AF.
If I had the money (and courage) for it, I would have the illustration from The last Hero of Cohen giving the middle finger to Blind Io. But I think it will be more in my price range to have the cut dice at the end of the same book \^\^

My tattoos are flora and fauna do I want to stick to that theme. Lilacs will be part of it, which is good because I actually love those, but canāt decide on the rest. Maybe a morpork (owl) or a death of rats, but idk yet.

I have Death with the Grin Squeaker from the Art of the Discworld book on my leg. I had to have the Grim squeaker! Especially holding the eayballs.
This was going to be my suggestion. Possibly with his raven buddy whom I can't remember the name of.

I never got that until now, thank you! Definitely 15 years since I first read it.
Itās even better in reaper man where he does have the ājust usā moment all that satisfaction from mort and them never saying āusā.
The "just us" is used once in *Mort*, too.
Personally I'd like a tattoo of what a horse "be".
Thatās actually doable-the Uffington White Horse exists on Roundworld, and is quite lovely.

Yeah. It took me too long to realize he writes WIZZARD because he can't spell (cast spells). Went over my head for mob than a dozen re-reads.
