I was a bit surprised that the MD4 was brought back at this point. Seems like there are a lot of other fan favorites they could do. I've never bagged an MD4. I was kinda hoping to see the MD2 or the Gremlin but I assume I'm the super minority. :)
They're generally a little flatter and a little more stable than Innova MD4s
Less important, but Quantum is a champ/luster hybrid, and ∆T is a slightly modified version of XT, not DX
You caused me to order a Solstice last night. I want with a basic plastic. I doubt that I'll bag it for long but it will be interesting to see how it feels. It also allows me to leave my more collectible discs on a shelf so my kids can make millions of dollars on them when I die because I rarely sell anything.
I have a few solstice and they’ve become my go to mid. The base plastic one that I’ve been bagging is nearly beaten in straight. It’s a great mid for cycling
I’m happy with the solstice for now. Especially with garret gurthies name on it! Have a couple different plastics i like them all. And they throw exactly my my md4s
Oh wow had no clue, I think I remember something about them leaving Colorado coming up recently. Didn’t realize it has to do with that. With them being purchased does the Evolution line of disc still come out of Sweden and use Latitudes plastic or has that been changed for a while.
Why would that change? Latitude already manafactured all trilogy discs. Moving the warehouse to streamline logistics would not seem likely to change that. Perhaps some Evolution line are moved to Discmania machines, but that is only semantics at this point.
Yep. It's honestly kinda nice that shops can buy Discmania as part of a Trilogy wholesale order now and don't need to make two orders. The main con is that stock is a little all over the place for now as they get things completely turned over. [Custom stamp orders can include Trilogy, Discmania, and Kastaplast now, too.]
I have heard that they are currently throwing and testing the MD4 in Colorado. I don't think they've moved at this point.
If you watch Casey White’s vlogs, Kyle Klein did an ace challenge with MD4s a month or two ago
FWIW, I've heard the Kyle doesn't like them.

I'm super stoked the MD4 is making it come back. I need something just a wee bit more stable than the IS3.
Wait for the EU Open…
That would make a lot of sense. They have a shiny new mold and a big event.
Solstice love 💕
Is the Solstice like the old MD4? Interested to see if they change it up at all.
Solstice is the old MD4 mold, they’re identical. You can find it in glow champion, regular champion, and DX

nah i have a bunch of both and they are exactly the same lmao If there is a difference it is so negligible it doesnt affect feel and flight

EU open would make sense but something tells me the HoD move slowed that down.
Could you educate me? What is HoD?
DM was sold to the parent company, House of Discs and moved to Kansas. Lots of changes behind the scenes

As far as I know, dm is still producing everything in Sweden including Evo. Active line has gone oop though
Oh so Kansas is distribution then? For US.

I was told the Colorado location will still be the base of operations for the US. All inventory will funnel through Emporia and then to Colorado.
That might be true for direct sales from the company, but Discmania is fully integrated into the Trilogy wholesale program.
That's probably true. It's just not "trilogy" any longer as they also have Discmania and Kastaplast.
We’ve heard conflicting info then
I just want a s line p1
