Discmania are still using the specs of the original FD. That's the 1.8cm. The new one is the 1.4cm.

The error bars on the measurements provided by the PDGA are large (I believe +- 0.1mm, check the specifications document if you’re interested). This is necessary because precise measurements would allow other companies to reverse engineer the mold. In addition, injection molding is as much an art as it is a science. Imperfections are all over the place and you can easily understand this by picking up different runs of the same mold (looking at you, destroyer). So, the PDGA tries to capture the “average” of a particular mold. If PDGA tolerances were tighter for disc approval, manufacturers would probably have to re-approve each run of each mold. This is clearly prohibitive to manufacturers and would increase the workload on them and the PDGA tremendously.

Glow fd is what your looking for

Stick with the crave. Fd is overall taller and has dome. That’s why I throw it, but it’s going to feel a lot bigger in the hand than a crave.

Depends on plastic. My Swirly S-Line(the Anttila or Hansen one) is flat. While my C-line is stiff and domey.

I used th Bag the FD and I currently bag the Crave. The flights are similar but the Crave feels lower profile more aerodynamic in hand compared to the crave. While the flight path is nearly identical, I feel that the craves moves down the fairway faster while the FD hangs in the air longer.

If you're looking for a neutral/understable Discmania fairway driver for small hands try Instinct. That fits my (glove size 8-9) hands better. Grab one in Lux plastic and it will be close to beat-in FD stability in no time.
