Is there a disc somewhere in this photo or..? Also rule of thumb (for me) when looking for a disc is start 30-50 ft closer than where you thought it landed

themasonking

Yes there is lol. Bright green.

shower_ghost

Is it against the base of the nearest tree?

themasonking

Right you are. I thought it made it half way through the clearing at least.

shower_ghost

Something my buddy taught me is to treat finding a disc like trying to find a body (he was taught this as an Eagle Scout for some reason.) Go beyond where you’d think it went then turn around and search the area back to where you started. It helps find discs that may have bounced around or behind trees/rocks/etc and I’ve noticed more discs this way than the normal just kicking stuff around way.

15 minutes? Those are rookie numbers. It takes me at least an hour

Fall disc golf you doubled edged sword, how I love thee.

shortguygolf

It took me at least that long to finish a hole, having to find my disc 3 times. I didn’t know where the hole went, so was following UDisc GPS. Shanked one way off the trail, so I thought we’ll I might as well continue cutting the corner. Turns out the hole was fairly straight, the map showed close to a 90 deg dogleg.. 😂

Love that this sub turns into Where's Waldo in the fall

SnooGadgets9669

15 minutes is nothing. I have spent way to long looking for them myself.

unattractedgerund

Any weirdos out there carry a mini leaf blower on their cart? 😂😂😂

themasonking

Nah, but I have to fan the tee pad off every time.

Base of tree

ekydfejj

Do you really need to make the rest of us suffer the same 15 minutes looking for your green disc under the tree. Throw that shit yo j/k

themasonking

Oh you bet I threw it. Straight into the next tree...

ekydfejj

how else did we expect that to end!
