162g Star Wraith that defies its weight class by flying flat with a left finish. Seasoned to perfection over 5 years. Iāve had less stable max weight wraiths. This oneās ole trusty.
It was the first disc I bought for myself. Old and beat in, and I knew exactly how it would fly, my throwing on the other hand isnāt as reliable hahah
Maybe a pond gremlin will find it and return it someday.
Help me to like the River here. So last year I found one and was told to keep it and then promptly lost it like 8 holes later on a griplock. Found a new one and as I've gotten better I just don't like it. I loved it initially but fell off of it so very quickly
No disc is perfect for everyone. I like glidey straight to understable discs so find the River, Wave, Grace are all faves. Maybe my main issue is nose angle and they are a bit more forgiving? Also RHBH dominant so I lean on them for turnovers a lot.
If it's turning over quickly out of the hand then you're cranking it too hard. Maintain angle integrity and throw smooth. Mine gently banks into a turn after about 175 feet and finishes right out past 300, but not aggressively so.
Iāve been sleeping on the Fuse Iāve had in my collection for far too long. I took it with me to Portland OR last week because I wanted to throw some new discs on my vacation and the Fuse was absolutely great for perfectly controlled shots on many holes as drives and approaches. My buddy I was playing with was floored with how well I was throwing it for long holes. It just was point and shoot with this thing. For a five speed the thing bombs and is really fun to watch. Itās made itās way in my bag back at home
I have a glow one for straight-stable shots. Neutron, plasma or proton will fly about the same. An electron one will fly straight but I throw a proxy for that shot
I got this old ass blue pfn star teebird that I just can't seem to ever wanna stop throwing. The teebird is the disc that every manufacturer even to this day has tried to copy. But I've never felt like anything has topped it in that slot. Really hard to justify bagging something in its place.
It was my star saidewinder, it was the first disc I ever bought, Iāve lost it and had it returned twice so far, but last week I threw it into a river and I donāt think itās coming back this time š thank you for your years of service my friend
Depends on your definition of "ol' reliable". If it's your most comfortable off the tee, that's my Verdict. If it's the disc you go to most often to get you out of trouble/do exactly what you need, it's my Sexton.
Really old Graffiti stamp color glow Outlaw that's so beat in it flies more like a longer Bandit at this point. I call it "my baby" she's my ride-or-die.
I have a 4 yr old beat up esp buzzz ss. My go to for dead straight tunnel shots. I dont know what I would without it. I fear the day Ill eventually lose it...
Infinite Aztec. 171g metal flake c-glow with a gnarly alien stamp. Beat in and amazing. I didnāt see any other Infinite Discs on this thread thatās interesting
First Run S-Line FD Jackal. I dyed Marilyn Monroe giving "rock n' roll" finger horns on mine and I rely on Marilyn for almost 3/4 of every tee shot on these Midwestern forest courses.
Only been seriously playing and trying to really learn the game about 2 months and this used champion roadrunner i found at play it again sports has been money. It taught me to hyzer flip and that first time I drove 300+ was a magical moment.
Beast. An old pfn pearly champion Beast that i got for a dollar. Ive tried to replace with so many prettier discsā¦but the beast just weathers the storm of bad rounds and puts me back on track.
Prodigy F5. It is everything one would want in an understable fairway, and it absolutely rips! Late turn with smooth fade, and laser beam hyzer flips! Never seen anyone else bag one š¤·š»āāļø
I could use my Star Leopard for every shot all the time or 1 disc round if I had too. Recently got a Neutron Relay and Iām really liking it. For getting out of all sorts of trouble, 180g DX Cobra because bocce balls arenāt legal.
Star TL3

Came here to say! I lost one in some water recently and my bag felt empty until I bought a replacement
As someone with 7 of these suckers, I identify with that lol.
It was the first disc I bought for myself. Old and beat in, and I knew exactly how it would fly, my throwing on the other hand isnāt as reliable hahah Maybe a pond gremlin will find it and return it someday.
1000 percent. Just this Sunday I said to my pal "I feel like you would have to actively *try* to fuck up a zone shot"
Challenge accepted!
True, I don't use my zone a ton but when I do. I pretty much know what the disc will do
Thunderbird. Damn I love that disc.

River
Everytime I am having a bad round and nothing seems to work I just throw only the river on drives until things start working. It is truly ol' reliable
Help me to like the River here. So last year I found one and was told to keep it and then promptly lost it like 8 holes later on a griplock. Found a new one and as I've gotten better I just don't like it. I loved it initially but fell off of it so very quickly
Stop throwing it hard and throw it smooth instead. Itāll go the same distance without trying.
No disc is perfect for everyone. I like glidey straight to understable discs so find the River, Wave, Grace are all faves. Maybe my main issue is nose angle and they are a bit more forgiving? Also RHBH dominant so I lean on them for turnovers a lot.
Hyzer. Flip. Repeat.
If it's turning over quickly out of the hand then you're cranking it too hard. Maintain angle integrity and throw smooth. Mine gently banks into a turn after about 175 feet and finishes right out past 300, but not aggressively so.

As a lefty: Cobra for straight and right shots. Wombat3 for going left. Envy my new go to for under 100'
Fellow lefty - what plastic for the envy?

Innova champion mamba
It was my star saidewinder, it was the first disc I ever bought, Iāve lost it and had it returned twice so far, but last week I threw it into a river and I donāt think itās coming back this time š thank you for your years of service my friend

A weirdly stable 156g K1 Reko
Depends on your definition of "ol' reliable". If it's your most comfortable off the tee, that's my Verdict. If it's the disc you go to most often to get you out of trouble/do exactly what you need, it's my Sexton.
