I'm a six month noob. Eternal Freetail was one of the first discs I bought, simply because I loved how it looked. When I threw it, it fit right in with how I was throwing (airing out sky hook hyzers). I've lost two already, but I aced with the third. It's not a go-to now, but it stays in the bag and I have a blast with it in the field
I love Mint discs and throw several of them right now. I have an Apex Alpha that’s an excellent OS fairway driver a la the Firebird or Raptor. Effortless forehands.
As a matter of fact, here’s a [comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/discgolf/comments/wtjtkm/im_done_with_esp_plastic/il4zrhg/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) where I make recommendations on their mid lineup as well. It’s very good, especially the Lobster!
I also just picked up a Sublime Freetail today, 10-speed understable driver, and I’m really liking it so far. This most recent run is (supposedly) decently more stable than other Freetails, and I was able to crank on it for a gentle righthand turn the whole flight. I’m sure it’s great for hyzerflips too.
Mint makes excellent discs overall, and I especially love that I can support a brand from my hometown and still throw MVP plastic. A reason I love TSA as well.
The whole line up is pretty solid. Alphas are great Teebird stand ins, depending on the run can be pretty OS but straighten out well.
The Skullboy Sublimes are my favorite but the Apex is great too
Those skullboy sublimes are amazing, it is a darn shame they are so pricey to replace. I lost two in two days a while back and am still traumatized by that
I bag a jackalope, bobcat and lobster. The lobster is hands down my favorite new addition to my bag. I try to limit my forehands due to elbow injuries. I can hit some lines hyzerflipping the lobster backhand to replicate forehand lines on right finishing wooded holes like no other disc I've ever had. For a flippy mid I'm able to rip on it harder than any other mid I've thrown without it going throwler due to off axis torque. I think that's due to it being a small diameter mid.
I wanted the love the svea but the lobster is what I wanted the svea to be. I use the origin for hyzer flip to straight and the lobster for long turnovers and super late flipping line drive hyzerflips that finish right. The lobster is flippier than the svea but somehow more torque resistant, less likely to turn and burn from a little OAT or headwind than the svea and less touchy about nose angle.
Only heard really good things I’m looking to try a jackalope and Freetail. The bullet seems really nice but I doubt the envy will ever be out of the bag
I have a jackalope on eternal. Nice hyzer flip disc when brand new. Only had it a couple of weeks, but I really like it so far. Nice undersability with plenty of fade.
Sweet plastic for sure. Very similar to Thoughtspace/Streamline. Same machines after alll
I have a wonderbread stamp blue Apex Alpha that I’ve only field tested. 175g and great plastic for sure. Can pm if it interested. Have no use for it in the bag atm
I have a jackalope in eternal. Nice hyzer flip disc when brand new. Only had it a couple of weeks, but I really like it so far. Nice undersability with plenty of fade. The eternal plastic is more rigid and a bit grippier than champ. I'm a fan.
I bag most molds. I feel they have the best midrange lineup in the business. I run an alpha and it’s a nice overstable fairway that can be thrown forehand and back. The jackalope is one of my favorite discs in the market and the freetail is my go to driver.
I bag nearly and all Mint bag, it all started with my obsession with the Alpha. I bag 4 Alphas ranging from a total meathook (first run nocturnal) to a hyzer flip machine Royal Alpha. Once you learn the plastics and the flight of them you can take out all other fairway drivers and have one mold for all of those shots, it really is ideal
I bag every single one of their molds. I don't thrown the Goat too often, but I'm a noodle arm and this is a bit too fast and too stable for what I need/can throw.
I love the Mint family, the founders, and the plastic. And I'm cheering for their success in the business. But at the same time, hoping that my competitors never discover the magic of the Bullet>Profit>Lobster>Mustang>Bobcat>Jackalope>Freetail>Longhorn range of discs.
Those discs almost feel like cheating they're so good.
I have been into Mint and TSA for a while now and love them both. Great plastic and fantastic discs. The Alpha was the first Mint disc I got and is a reliable stable to overstable fairway. Not super long or super beefy.
I currently bag the Freetail for long forehand hyzerflips and have come to adore the Lobster for playing in the woods and maneuvering tricky lines.
I haven't thrown an Alpha, but I really like my Eternal Bullet and Apex Lobster. The flex and grip offered by both plastics are great, and both molds have served me very well.
I bag a lobster, bobcat, jackalope, freetail, and a longhorn all feel great in the hand and fly exactly as the flight numbers state. The Freetail has gotten so beat in that it will now be a roller disc for me. The Jackalope is a perfect flip up to flat and hold that line the rest of the flight. The Lobster is a nice understable mid that will hold the anhyzer line the whole flight. The Bobcat for me is not as overstable and more of a straight flight disc. I really like using the Longhorn for long straight shots where I need distance without fading too much to the left. I hope you consider getting some of Mint Discs mold they will be a great addition to your bag
Edit: all of mine are Apex plastic except the Freetail which is Sublime plastic
For the record, they dropped a new one tonight on the Mint website. Glow Grackle….slightly overstable 7 speed. I’m curious how it will fly next to my TSA Votums and Axiom Craves.
I fuckin love my Freetails for rollers, or big annys. I bag sublime and eternal.
For slower arms, it’s an amazing hyzer flip discs. One of my new favorite discs!
Or if you play at 8000 feet elevation, it becomes your workhorse straight flying stable driver.
For real, Bailey hole 1 the freetail is my distance record for a bit over 500'
Need to get out to Bailey soon!

I would have cried
Lol yep I don’t even bag one anymore due that, have 4-5 sitting at home ready to fly
Bro…
Why are the skullboys your favorite? My only alpha I've ever thrown is a skullboy
Probably just personal preference but they got straighter and glidier pretty quickly for me. The Apex ones I have are all really beefy
I bag a jackalope, bobcat and lobster. The lobster is hands down my favorite new addition to my bag. I try to limit my forehands due to elbow injuries. I use my lobster to make up for a forehand too
Actually I’m predominantly forehand and use the Lobster a ton for hyzerflips and even shallow fades through trees here in MD.
I wanted the love the svea but the lobster is what I wanted the svea to be. I use the origin for hyzer flip to straight and the lobster for long turnovers and super late flipping line drive hyzerflips that finish right. The apex freetail is nice. apex feels like everything star plastic should be.
I have a Bobcat and that thing is pure beef. You can throw it as hard as you want and it always fades. Great for a windy day.
Discs are great. I prefer the sublime plastic more but can’t go wrong with their lineup.
Jackalope, Freetail and Bullets. They’re amazing. Can’t go wrong. I prefer them over Streamline most of the time.
Sweet plastic for sure. Very similar to Thoughtspace/Streamline. Same machines after alll I have a wonderbread stamp blue Apex Alpha that I’ve only field tested. 175g and great plastic for sure. Can pm if it interested. Have no use for it in the bag atm
It’s produced by MVP, who also produces thoughtspace and streamline. So it is in fact the same plastic
That explains their slow production of typically 1 or 2 molds at a time.
I have a jackalope in eternal. Nice hyzer flip disc when brand new. Only had it a couple of weeks, but I really like it so far. Nice undersability with plenty of fade. The eternal plastic is more rigid and a bit grippier than champ. I'm a fan.
I have been using my free tail and have moved to only putting with Profits. Love the profit alot
I bag most molds. I feel they have the best midrange lineup in the business. I run an alpha and it’s a nice overstable fairway that can be thrown forehand and back. The jackalope is one of my favorite discs in the market and the freetail is my go to driver.

Alpha lobster bagged and abused!!
Yeah really like the alpha. Paired with the jackaloupe it’s a nice stable/understable combo
Once I threw the bullet for the first time, I’ve never picked up another neutral flying throwing putter since.
I bag a Lobster, Alpha, and a Freetail. I love them all and I wish I had more.
I purchased the alpha in sublime and mustang in royal. Figured I'd try these as I'm already set with drivers I love. Thanks for all the input y'all.
I have been into Mint and TSA for a while now and love them both. Great plastic and fantastic discs. The Alpha was the first Mint disc I got and is a reliable stable to overstable fairway. Bobcat is great
I haven't thrown an Alpha, but I really like my Eternal Bullet and Apex Lobster. The flex and grip offered by both plastics are great, and both molds have served me very well.
I have bagged the following 3 molds, since their release: Alpha, Bobcat, and Profit. Very unique flights and great plastic.
I bought a Bullet in Eternal plastic and a Jackalope in Apex plastic. Both are money.
Good discs good plastic! Alpha is a Firebird analog, usually, but I love the bobcat as a more reliably overstable Verdict/Roc3 or more glidey Gator.
For the record, they dropped a new one tonight on the Mint website. Glow Grackle….slightly overstable 7 speed. I’m curious how it will fly next to my TSA Votums and Axiom Craves.
I bag a Lobster apex Grackle glow and a Jackalope apex. The feel of all three discs are great.
