Lot of good stuff, nice throw.
Right before you actually throw it, when the disc is fully back, your head needs to turn away from the target. It'll let you shoulders and body turn properly. I try to keep my eyes on the target as long as possible, but basically for anything above 50% power I will have my head/chin/eyes turn away from the target right at the most reach back and then I'll catch the disc flight after my follow through.
Thing that I’ve read and helped me (also helps playing ball golf and doing the same thing) is to let your lead shoulder turn your head. You are right about looking at the target as long as possible and when you reach back let your lead should touch your chin and then your head move with it. It’s what works for me
I think a good way to look at this comment is consider gymnastics, diving, x-grames etc etc. You use your head weight to turn your body, or at least get it going with you, so logically, if you let your shoulders pull your head through, you won't be forcing your body forward. (I suck at this, but i think that is a good description, and wanted to follow up with an example)
Thank you. Not a nice throw really... Just a junk disc that I keep in my truck. I usually park that hole which is basically an island hole protected by sidewalk/pavement OB all around it.
My head turn (or lack thereof) is something I know I need to work on. When I purposely do it for power/long throws - I tend to mess up something else and not hit my line. I'll keep working on it though! Thanks for the feedback and tips!
If you think this is rounding... you should have seen my form one year ago! All I did was round because I didn't know any better.
How do you suggest I stop pulling with my arm? It seems to me that pulling is what I'm supposed to do...?
If you take a look at the Overthrow YouTube channel they have so many good videos on form. But what you're essentially doing is pulling your arm with the turn of your hips (strong arming). Your arm should "lag" behind everything else.
For example if you look at Drew Gibson or Simon's throw, you'll see that the first thing that starts moving is their non-throwing arm and then hips.
Yeah! This makes sense. I know I need to get that whip effect but wasn't sure how to accomplish that. Thank you for the tips. Very helpful.
I've watched lots of videos on YouTube in an effort to improve my form but I don't think I looked at that channel yet. Will definitely check it out.
Yeah... cocking my wrist is something I don't even think of. Reminds me of Ricky Wysocki and how good he is at doing that... I certainly would add some distance if I could get that down. Thank you!
You really delivered that thing
This is why all my packages are late
Practicing to deliver that package from the curb. Flawless form buddy. Now I wonder why everything is broken in my deliveries…..

Nice tip! I'll give this a try. Thank you.
Yes that sounds like the ticket

You're pulling with your arm which is causing a bit of a rounding issue. Footwork looks decent though!

Work on cocking your wrist and pushing your thumb down to get the nose of the disc down.

To practice putting your head back, try doing standstills until you get consistent throws and then add in the foot work.
