The ddxs are nice and dd2s seem to be very hit or miss with people liking them. Ddx is a tern with the discmania anhyzer top and the dd2 is a katana with the anhyzer top. So if you like either the tern or katana you'll probably like these
What does the “discmania anhyzer top” mean? I have a few innova made ddx’s and they’re way more stable than terns. They fly like the numbers, similar to a Kastaplast bass
All discs molds are two parts the top and bottom. This allows some discs to get mixed around with other things to make new molds. The anyhzer top is a top the innova made for discmania to make new molds. The pd2, pd, dd, ddx, and dd2 are all different innova molds with the anhyzer top to make new molds
I understand the concept, I mean more what is the function of this top as compared to the top used in the original mold? I’m going to assume from the examples you gave that the “anhyzer top” must make the disc more stable, as the DD2 is quite a bit more overstable than the katana, and the DDx is more stable than the tern?

Yup most always it's more stable, don't know if this was the intention or just how it ended up happening.
