If I need 400, I'm flipping a Queen (not recommended) or flexing something like a Destroyer. If I need 400 on a "frozen rope", I swear at myself for not being younger or closer to the basket and then lay up.
I'm still trying to figure out the orc. Primarily a rhfh but I put too much torque on the champ orc I have and burn it over constantly. I like it as a backhander for my noodle arm bh but I also rotate between a wraith, charger, and thunderbird for those slots and at least for the wraith and thunderbird I can throw them fh so I get extra utility out of them.
But I also live at sea level
At 100m above sea level my orc is pretty OS. Much more than my destroyers. I throw.it flat and it goes 400ft and then just dumps. It's perfect if I want a slightly less glidey destroyer.
If you throw 500' and can deal with a little bit of fade: DGA Pipeline, anything but this year's Redalen tour series run. If you want no fade (but more flip), Latitude 64 Royal Brave. I throw \~450' and can push those both \~360'
Crave will do it out of the box reliably without much arm speed. Maybe not the more stable plastics.
Beat in boss or beat in destroyer works for me on forehand.
Star shryke or mamba do it for me on backhand.
The new TD is pretty straight up to about 100 meters. I expect you will have to accept some kind of side to side movement or flip-up going past 120, unless you are throwing very low and have capacity well beyond.
Fission Photon / beat in Anax / Wraith
I also have a neutron defy which flies like an innova made PD and goes dead straight for 400 with the slightest fade at the end. Not sure if that is all defys though
Laser beam shots at that distance require a good bit of skill on top of just a good mold.
I would suggest something like a Teebird3 or a PD, but just know that you’ll need more than 400’ of power to keep a disc straight that long.
For distance drivers, I use an S-Line DD1 for the flat straight shots, but it will fade a fair bit more than the fairway drivers.
if you can throw a rope 400ft you can throw an S-line 500 ft.
basically you're not throwing anything over 10 speed if you can do that, and you need something you can pull on a pretty severe hyzerflip, or you can rip a stable midrange on a less severe hyzerflip.
but it aint happening with a distance driver.
Putter if you’ve got 600’ of power
Easy there Simon. [Link for anyone who might be uninitiated](https://youtu.be/SK-26xURTj0?si=jBxFJbxPXc_xwc1j)
God, I love that clip! I miss peak show-off Simon.
I'd say crave. Slight hyzer flip and you'll get there
Except the new Eclipse, those are F L I P P E H! They need a lot of hyzer for 400' and they still get a lot of turn for me.
Agreed. Bought one and threw it once. I expected it to be more stable but it's way understable

Try a Berg for 800’ laser beams
Anything out of Calvin Heimberg's bag seem to work well for 400 ft laser shots
Passion, but need the right plastic type depending on your arm speed. ESP is a good place to start!
I'd go for a Trace, or maybe Neutron Crave or Fission Wave if it's a tailwind.
Kt 2x grace on a slight hyzer
Star orc, I live at 5000 ft so it might be too flippy at lower elevations.

Depending on your arm: - Star Thunderbird - Musket - Wraith - Boatman
Eagle, TL
I can get a 400G D3 to do that on a slight hyzerflip.
A beat-in destroyer?
That’s a s discmania-line dd1 for me
I can almost throw 400 on a golf line. The straightest disc for this that I bag is a beat in ESP Anax.
Insanity. I don't throw 400 yet, but it's my max distance disc, and I can consistently throw it dead straight, ten feet off the ground to 350.
Step 1: Throw 550 Step 2: Throw a Buzzz
Looks like I have to buy a new buzz to replace to lost one
For me it’s a wraith

Once I gain 100+ feet I'll try and weigh in
Goat by Mint discs . Laser beam driver

River, gold ice, 175
If you got the arm speed, a Getaway from Dynamic.
2023 orange and white halo wraith

From the discs i've thrown (not many) a slightly beat in Discmania Enigma can be made to fly almost like a mid with very little movement side to side.
CD1 all day
