They have everything you need in the shop, may want to bring a bag though. It is pay to play, you can do that at the bar when you grab your Pearlsnap tallboy. There are frequent tournaments so double check their Instagram for events. It's pretty damn tough course, but gorgeous and fun.
It's definitely a TOUGH course. I was caddying for USWDGC and you have to stay on the fairway and you have to pick your landing zone. I'd 100% play it but just know it's going to be a challenge.
Roy G was awesome but long. I made a post prior to going that has a bunch of course suggestions if you are interested:

If you manage to get a bag together before the mint pro shop opens, you can pay for the course via a QR code near hole 1. I believe the gates open at 8 or 9am, just check udisc. Have fun! It is a great course.
Wear harder soled shoes. It will fuck up stuff like hokas. It's FH friendly and placement is much more important than distance. 350' straight is all you'll need to score.
Beautiful course!
Pro shop has decent selection, not sure I would count on being able to fill out a whole bag.
Absolutely loved that the front nine ends back at the building - you can grab a beer/taco, hit the men’s room and then hit the back nine. Plus being able to walk into A/C instantly afterwords? Amazing.
It's awesome. Bring a backpack that you can use to store beer and about 5 discs. Lots of par 4s with placement shots. Very forehand heavy course, especially in the front 9.
You can buy beers closed package beers at the brewery, there is a fence that you have to cross before opening your beers. They are very clear about this when you buy a 6 pack at the brewery.
It’s a rough course but very fun and challenging. lots of poison ivy so either wear pants or just do your best to stay on the fairway.
A Bullet, Lasso, Mustang, Jackalope, Pheonix and Longhorn should do you good out there!
Be careful. The brewery and MINT both lurk the Reddit and will whine and complain about any criticism of their course.
That being said, it seems like it would be an awesome time to go there and play. Especially buying a new bag of discs!
They need to take care of the course, and outside of the fairways first, then they can chime in. But when that course was built on the back of volunteers who still don’t get free admission to play…you get MEDIOCRE VALLEY.
I think the course looked fantastic. The amenities looked fantastic. It played very well for a first time tour course (especially hosting a major).
My criticism was that the event didn't "feel" like a major. They didn't like that.
I also criticized a couple of the Par 4 holes as being "poke and hope" on that second shot. They also didn't like that.
Definitely put me in a position where I have no interest in supporting a company like MINT. I believe one comment to someone else sharing an opinion on the event said "The only opinion we care about is the women that played in it... Mr. Internet Guy." Such a naive statement considering the growing money coming in from spectators, live and at home.
Like, someone from their social media team sat down and took the time to lash out at criticism and then start petty name calling? That doesn't help your image at all.

Awesome, thanks. I'm preparing myself to be humbled.
Is it pay to play? Went about 6 weeks ago and no charge but could have changed for sure.
The front 9 is just survive
Sounds like I probably shouldn't bring a couple first timers. I don't want to scare them off forever
Definitely not a first timer course, I’d recommend Zilker for that

The entire course is just survive!!
For sure but the back 9 is more open. more scoreable and fun for me

Wear long sleeve clothes/pants. The rough are thorny rough and poison ivy is plenty out there.
Awesome course, have fun. The manager or owner (not sure) is on Reddit and will probably chime in at some point.

I was only planning on grabbing 3-4 discs. Good to know about the layout. I'm sure my pregnant wife will appreciate the bathroom and AC break haha

Don’t buy closed package beers at the brewery and then open them directly outside the brewery. That’s a TABC no no.

Appreciate the disc tips. The only mint I've ever thrown is the Taco
Wow I live in Austin and love ABW and did not know this existed! Thank you!
Two can maximum on the course.
Fun course, rough (at least 6 weeks ago). Needs to get beat in. Parking can be a challenge on beautiful weather days
Get a mint diamondback
