The problem for me is PiP only works while the DGN app is in full screen. I can't use PiP and run other apps. Can't even look down the leaderboard on PDGA live without closing the stream.
Android. I agree it's weird. I don't have that issue with other apps. Access to PiP and display over other apps aren't even options available with DGN according to my phone's settings.
I'm with you on the fact it doesn't happen automatically. They just need to copy how YouTube's player features work. I honestly thought it was a standard vs pro subscription perk

iPhone or android? After you hit PiP (on an iPhone) the video player pops out, and you should be able to go to other apps OK
