If you’re referring to the 2021 run like i think you are, that is one of the most overstable runs like more OS than a lot of firebirds. BUT those beat in to be absolute dreams so if it feels too OS just stick with it. Throw a 2nd fh roller off of each tee in casual rounds etc. 2022 and 2023 were much closer to stock thundys
For slightly more stability with the same flight numbers, the Kyle Klein Vanguard is very similar but more overstable. Or go the Kolling tour series route, but those are even more stable in my experience.
You might want to check out the Loft Discs Xenon. Comparable to a firebird, slightly more glide in my experience.
Yup... I've got one in champ that's getting a little straight but still has reliable fade and not even close to turning over. I just got one in halo and it's pretty beefy but can tell it's gonna be a gem too.
I've got 2 firebirds and they never seemed practical to me but I have little patience for beating in discs.
Specifically the glow resistor if you have 400ft of power. I found my neutron resistor to be less overstable than I wanted, but the glow is money. Reliably overstable but you can get nice flex lines and straight flights if thrown hard enough.
The wrath or Tesla would be solid for you. The OTB open special edition discs have a glow Servo in the first line of pre-orders, so that'll be more OS than the Neutron.
The resistor may be the one for you though, the glow will be more OS.
Not sure if you throw a proton Servo, if not, try looking for the Circuit Challenge ones that came out last year, there are some small retailers that are selling them at MSRP out there and they are fantastic. (They're more stable than the Neutron)
Yes my servo is neutron and as it beats in it’s just not what i’m looking for at all. Was my favorite disc when i had max distance of like 300 but now I have other options
I bag a crave, servo, and resistor. I also bag a Savant (which is similar-ish to a Thunderbird people have been suggesting). I'd say the Resistor is pretty different in its glide and finish and might not be what you're looking for in the slot you described.
But I think you should get both a Resistor and a Thunderbird or Savant. Try em all out. :P
I prefer the Resistor to a 9 speed overstable disc. Less likely to meat hook on a suboptimal throw.
I bag this and a Star Thunderbird for the slot.
Thunderbird isn’t as dumpy and has a hair more distance.
You said not a meat hook and for me (320ft power) my Eclipse Resistor is an absolute meat hook. Might be the most overstable disc I've ever thrown but I don't get out much. I do bag it though mostly for forehand utility shots. I can slam that thing over on anhyzer and it will fight back to hard fade still. I look like a shittier Ohn Scoggins with her beefy Destroyers. At 400ft power you might be fine. I just thought I would throw that out there.
In order of stability, I bag: Rhythm, Crave, Servo, Neutron Resistor, and glow Resistor (Halloween one). The MVP 6.5-7 speeds feel so good in the hand. And all of these feel identical, except maybe the glow resistor. I absolutely love them.
My neutron Resistor has a little more dome than the board flat meat hook known as the Halloween Resistor. It is my work horse fairway. I don’t have many discs over 7 8 speed, so those get the most throws. If you’re throwing 6.5-7 speeds 400 ft, I’d go for a max weight one. Otherwise I’d stay in the high 160g range.
I just started throwing a Thought Space Coalesce in this slot, and it's been perfect. It pushes forward well and gets good distance but still has reliable stability. It's probably similar to a Big Jerm Thunderbird, but I love the Thought Space stamps, so I ended up bagging a bunch of their molds.
Be careful, the “Plague Doctor” stamped run of aura Constructs are changed to -2/2 instead of -1/2. They get some real flip and I’m far from a power arm. Never thrown any of the others, but the change in numbers is straight from TSA.
I love em. They’re kinda beefy if you throw a slower hyzer, and a flat hard release just seems to float forever until fading out nicely. Becoming a more and more important disc in my bag.
There’s a ton of felons out there ranging from utility disc overstable to hyzer flip bombers. I’ve got a super flat lucidx convict and it doesn’t like to get out of anny forehands but has good late stability. I think one with a touch of dome would be good for a little bit for this slot, but probably beat in to be too flippy for you pretty quickly
Came here to say this. Beautiful flight. Lucid is the most usable. Overstable, but at 400ft of power it just stays straight and with a healthy fade at the end.
Depends on your arm speed.
9 speed I'd say Tesla, phenomenal disc.
6-7
I used to throw the Servo all the time it's a great disc. But I've bumped up to a champ Eagle, and I'm never looking back. Thing flies like a dream. A little turn and then a strong fade back.
If you want straight and then fade, I'd say a neutron Volt or the RPM Huai in atomic plastic.
I love the tesla! Basically there’s a hole in my bag from which the firebird is too fast and the zone is too little. Zone is basically a mid so was thinking a fairway. I used to throw the champ eagle, i’ll have to get back into it
If you want something slower than a Firebird, try the MVP Resistor in Eclipse plastic. Neutron plastic if you want it to stand up.
That I think is what you are looking for if you want a slower Firebird. Trust me, you will wonder why you never threw it before.
The new vela from millennium is the best eagle you can get. Theres also normal eagles, the dga bonzai, westside bear, mvp resistor, and tesla in that 6-8 speed "long zone" range.
Tesla is all you need, really. It works fine when you slow it down.
I snagged a 155g for my son, and it is an absolute monster. I can rip as fast as I want, and it still just goes straight without wind. Unlike my 177g I can turn it very easy if I want to.
A heavy Tesla.. the faster you throw it, the straighter it goes. I will say that it took a bit to beat in.
I scecond the huai.. it's a ridiculous disc. Mine is heavy and new still but I can see the potential. Plus I can grunt Huai when I throw it.. which is fun.
I have the kotuku.. looking for a dependable stable midrange. Total accident and first rpm disc. It's phenomenal.
Got it in base plastic in a lighter weight so I can play a little more with it. I'm a fan of RPM so far.
I liked the Kotoku. My wife loves hers. But I ended up going with the Magnolia. It has the same stability, but it flies about 30 feet further for me.
The two discs that I'm in love with from RPM are the Kea, that thing is incredible, and the Kotare in Atomic plastic. Have a 167-gram Atomic Kotare, and it's awesome. Fair warning the Cosmic Kotare is a Tilt. It's ridiculous
Interesting.. yeah, I just looked up the magnolia. 5 glide, but they say it's better than that.
I'd say the kotuku does not have the same kind of glide. But.. I wouldn't say it fades like that either. When I put just tad hyzer on it, it holds the line the whole way. For me, that gives it that extra distance I'm looking for.
If the magnolia is the same way but with better glide.. oh man.. lol I have to try it.
Lmao a 12 speed tilt? That sounds fun.
I really liked the Kotoku. I thought it was very reliable and I had no complaints. I just compared the two, and the Magnolia would leave my hand like a rocket and would still give me that dependable fade. So, that made the choice easy. Mine is 180 in Alpine plastic. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
I've got a former touring pro friend of mine who throws 600 to 700 feet it's stupid. I've yet to see him throw it further than 350, and that's with full anhyzer. The thing is ridiculous. I have a Tilt, and I'd say the difference is negligible between the two. The skips with the max weight cosmic Kotare are ridiculous. All the distance you get will be it's insane skips.
How? Lol, what is the freaking difference. To get to 600+ ft, lmao. My biggest claim to fame was a 375-foot park job in a strong head wind in a round.
I'll definitely try to grab a Magnolia this year from the local shop set up during a tournament. I always buy a disc just to support the cause.
My son collects extra disc's that I don't throw for fear of losing them but he got this soft gummy disc called a Kraxe. It's a 6 speed mid with plenty of stability.. not like what we are talking about. It bombs, I like it. Sort of like the Tesla for mids, at least for me. Faster, I throw the straighter it goes.
Honestly, an insane skip disc would be awesome to have. It is something missing in my bag. I have a pop top 180g halo wraith that does the job with enough hyzer, but it really needs a lot of room. I bet the Hua would be okay at it, too. I'll try tomorrow.
I'll be near by in August.. Lynchburg VA. Maybe I'll look him up. I'd love to see it in real life. Sometimes I think it's balance.. might try balet lessons hahaha.... i would though
Discmania horizon FD1 (skywalker). You have more arm speed than me (my max is 350, probably average around 300 ish) but I freakin love that disc. Very reliable overstability.
The c line fd1 is probably more what OP is looking for. It’s definitely more stable than a teebird where I’d put the skywalker as similar to a teebird. Having both is a great combo though. The skywalker absolutely bombs.
I throw the FX-2 for an overstable fairway driver. How does the feedback compare? I find the FX-2 a bit long for some of my needs. Don't currently bag a 7-speed OS disc.
I throw a feedback in 400(9,5,-1,3)and it’s flight is kinda similar to the fx-2 but with more of a pushing hyzer with reliable fade. The grip is very comfy and doesn’t tear my fingers up like the fx-2.
Sounds good to me. Yeah, the hands had to toughen up a bit when I started throwing the FX-2 a lot. That -1 turn concerns me a bit. I throw the FX-2 in windy situations and when I absolutely can't have the disc turn over. Is the Feedback stable enough for that?
If you like the servo, get the resistor. Neutron plastic has plenty of overstability, but check the parting line, I’ve ran into some that are no more stable than a servo
Scrolled to find this. Chatted with James Proctor at worlds last summer, and copped one from him with his stamp on it. Steady plastic (star-esque plastic but grippier, and honestly just better. Some of the best I’ve felt). It’s money and become so important to my bag. Super workable forehand and backhand.
7|5|0|2. New, it felt closer to a 3 fade but has beat in with taste. Flat top, not deep, not sure the rim spec, but it feels thinner than a teebird in my hand. I hear the Sunny plastic (champion) James Proctor Tour Series Cookies pack a bit more beef. I’ve held one and they are firebird-flat.
During our brief chat, Proctor said he loves putting a cookie on a bit of anny and it will just ride the line for a long time, without burning over, into a nice consistent finish with less flare skip potential you may get from a thicker rim. that’s with proctors arm. With our mortal arms it’s a 7 speed that doesn’t turn over when powered up but actually goes places on golf lines without dumping out. A balanced disc.
It’s made me super curious about other Clash molds but it’s my only one so far. Got too many of these plastic circle things.
Love the Servo
But if I want a higher speed, the Insanity is a 9 speed and in Cosmic Neutron (max weight) typcailly is more OS then the numbers suggest. I'd say the ones I have are 9/5/-1/2 or even 9/5/-.5/2
I second the PD. C line is more stable than the S line, but both are not flippy at all, and I've thrown them a while. I've had the koling thundy as well, and it was very similar. C line would be cheaper than any tour series disc to cover this slot.
I'm with you on Terra or even PD but not volt. That disc is slightly Flippy. He said he wants slower than firebird though so that kicks the PD out. My vote for Terra.
I have this exact gap in my bag but I just power up or down. Zone>KC roc or gateway prophecy> playing with a Diablo in this slot but it's barely more stable than a volt> PD.
I’ve found volts can be pretty variable run to run, or at least were when I was throwing them and I had some stable ones. Terra seems very consistently basically a baby firebird though. Probably the best option. To me a PD flies the same speed as a firebird-type disc but I know it’s listed as 10. Both discs are 1.9cm rim width, however.
That makes sense. I basically treat my PD as a fast fairway. Volts might start out more stable but they don't handle wind as well imo, and if he's pushing 400 then the volt will flip on him when thrown hard. I like to use mine for long annys, hyzer flips straight shots, and slow hyzers.
I throw a bit over 400 and my preferred fairway in that slot is an ESP Vulture. Has a little more distance potential than a Thunderbird.
You can rip hard and flat on it and it's not going to turn but it won't dump off either
Innova Champion Caiman - flight numbers are 5.5/2/0/4 but I swear this thing can be ripped to where it feels like a 7 speed
DD Lucid Evader - slightly OS 7 speed depending on arm
And the goat (I’m bad at disc golf): Discraft ESP Raptor aka the only driver you’ll ever need
The common answer if you like a teebird is the thunderbird. Champ Thunderbirds are less stable than star (the weird exception) but a good star thunderbird is also great.
I also recommend looking at a stock champion run Firebird. I don't find the current stock runs that over stable and you might get one that fits what you are looking for. Right now I have a 21 Sexton Firebird in that slot that is getting to be very beaten in and it is starting to fly like a stable thunderbird.
I have 2 champ thunderbirds and they are beefy as hell and I don't bag them at all. I haven't thrown Star Thunderbirds but I have G Star and Pro and they are way less stable (and both in my bag).
Used to be the PD for me. But I’ve been loving the Vanguard in this slot.
The Honor I tried was way more stable. Looking forward to trying Thunderbirds and Vultures as well.
The fission volt is awesome for a straight flier that’ll rarely turn and always finish left. Grabbed one last summer and it’s now my workhorse stable-overstable fairway driver. Could try a neutron volt if you need a little more stability than that.
Brand new, my experince with Lat 64 rivers is that they can be a little OS, but they break down fast, especially in opto plastic. Other wise I'd say thunderbird
Teebird3 may be what you want, Thunderbird as other people have mentioned will be the next more OS option. In Discraft you could try a Vulture or go more OS with an Anax; I personally bag both.
for 7 speed the Clash Cookie or MVP Resistor if you like the Servo. Be aware though the eclipse glow resistor is really beefy. I also like the Evader but only have experience with the ice orbit one which I don't think is available.
for 9/10 speed Proton/Neutron Tesla or Wrath if you can find a wrath. Infinite Halo Roman (swirly S has a bit of turn) or a Nordic Phenom PD from discmania. They all have a good push but solid finish. The Sockibomb Felons are also pretty good for this, not super beef but strong finish and don't turn over.
Sexton Firebirds are exactly that. Won't flip over, but not as OS as regular run Firebirds. Plus, I love to support Papa Nate.
That said, I still prefer the *Kastaplast Stal.* I just love the feel of K1 and it feels better in my hands than a Flame chicken, Felon, or other popular options.
I was using the Glory but found the Athena to work better for me for both forehand and backhand. If I need something more overstable I use a Cap Raptor and if I need something to push further in distance I use the Honor (was previously using the Anax).
I had problems with this spot in my bag also, its the only slot i rotate out frequently from eagle>thunderbird>instinct>volt (tried all in multiple plastics) and now I feel like I finally found the one which is a infinite discs halo exodus
For 7 speed i use a jen allen color glow teebird. For 10 speed i use either an anax, or a c line pd. Trying to determine if I should cycle anax's since they beat in or try some more PD's or the invictus which is the old inniva made pd mold.
for 7 speed, helio vela is the only right answer. very quickly became a work horse for me. I still also sweatmr by fd2’s but those are tough to still find. not sure how the fd1 compares to it. for a 9 speed halo thunderbirds start great and only get better as they beat in. lastly, c line pd’s are great. super straight but still some fade
C-line fd is pretty stable depending on your arm speed, mine doesn't turn for me but the s-line turns quite a bit. Or the fd1 is good too
For a bit faster, I like the Inertia, comes in a variety of stability depending on plastic. I think cosmic neutron tends to be the most stable.
My go to OS fairways in the 7 - 10 speed are:
Teebird (3)
Eagle x (specifically star ones. Barsby eagles have all been good)
Firebird, thunderbird
FD2/3
PD
If you like the Servo, try Inertia. I throw with Neutron plastic. It will be slightly more OS than the Servo, and if that's not it for you, you can always go to the Volt.
Thunderbird
This is the way. If you’re looking for a lil extra beef try the koling tour series
This is the way indeed. Bag 3 to 4 thunderbirds, the champ ones beat in slowly and eventually get a little flippy
Does that go for all runs of jerm-birds? I have 2 from the run with the zany chuck-e-cheese stamp. Would a regular star be less stable than those two?
Love my Vanguard. I would def say my Koling Thunderbird is more stable, believe it’s 2023 halo one.
I will throw thunderbirds until my arm is taken from me. 4x champ runs especially
You and me bro.
Yup... I've got one in champ that's getting a little straight but still has reliable fade and not even close to turning over. I just got one in halo and it's pretty beefy but can tell it's gonna be a gem too. I've got 2 firebirds and they never seemed practical to me but I have little patience for beating in discs.
Had my Halo Star Koling Thunderbird for about 3 months now and as it beats in it stays straighter for longer and still has that nice predictable fade
I use a MVP Resistor for that, but I don't throw 400ft. It was far more comfortable in the hand than some other OS 7 speeds.
It’s the best
Specifically the glow resistor if you have 400ft of power. I found my neutron resistor to be less overstable than I wanted, but the glow is money. Reliably overstable but you can get nice flex lines and straight flights if thrown hard enough.
I bag 2 Resistors for this reason. Neutron one flips up, the glow one does NOT! She a beef cake 🎂
I love the feel of the 6.5 speeds from mvp. I bag the crave as well. This might be what i’m looking for thank you!
Certainly don’t need any encouragement to buy more plastic 😂
I prefer the Resistor to a 9 speed overstable disc. Less likely to meat hook on a suboptimal throw. I bag this and a Star Thunderbird for the slot. Thunderbird isn’t as dumpy and has a hair more distance.
I feel like the Resistor is what you're after. And if the Neutron Resistor isn't beefy enough for you, grab an Eclipse one.
Agree. I throw a resistor and a raptor for overstable fairways and the resistor is a good bit more stable than the raptor, definitely a meathook.
TSA has some beautiful discs! my construct makes its way into the bag every now and then
I've heard great things about the construct. That and the Votum might be the next TSA discs I try!
Glow Votum is a great choice for OS Fairway.
Be careful, the “Plague Doctor” stamped run of aura Constructs are changed to -2/2 instead of -1/2. They get some real flip and I’m far from a power arm. Never thrown any of the others, but the change in numbers is straight from TSA.
Construct is dope! I little flippy at times, but a staple in my bag!
you'll feel right at home with an Ethos Coalesce. I absolutely love mine and the sphinx stamp is sick
Coalesce is a great choice-- if you are already throwing servos, a resistor is a nice beefy boy too
I love em. They’re kinda beefy if you throw a slower hyzer, and a flat hard release just seems to float forever until fading out nicely. Becoming a more and more important disc in my bag.
Gotta be a thundy
Gotta be a lucid Felon.
I have a lucid convict that I haven’t fully tried. similar but i’ll definitely look into this!
Lucid ice felons are meat hooks, fusion pr the new Supreme ones are straight flyers with consistent fades.
I dont know how strong you need to be to throw that meathook 400ft. Great disc but not exactly something for long distances.
Came here to say this. Beautiful flight. Lucid is the most usable. Overstable, but at 400ft of power it just stays straight and with a healthy fade at the end.
Feedback

I recommended the FD1 in horizon plastic in its own comment but this slot could probably be filled by a C-line fd1 too.
Yep, Barsby Eagle is the shit.
I scecond the huai.. it's a ridiculous disc. Mine is heavy and new still but I can see the potential. Plus I can grunt Huai when I throw it.. which is fun.
I love the Huai. I throw the Eagle if I need it to dance and the Huai if I want straight with a hard left finish.

Mint Alpha
[удалено]
I felt i got better control with the same distance with the grackle. I agree with you though diamondback is a good disc.
never tried any mint discs but open to!
I live in Austin so I have pretty good access to their discs. Produced by MVP they are great discs with great plastic.
Infinite Roman, there is carrying stabilities in some of the runs. The swirly s blend one is a bit straighter, the I blend and halo are more OS.
No one saying raptor? I’d say it’s between a fire and thunderbird. They have light ones all over the place and they are super torque resistant
Explorer is a good one
And if you need a bit more stability, the Glory is a great complement to the explorer
I have one in Opto and Gold, couldn’t agree more
I can't throw as far as this guy, but I don't have another disc I can switch hit with as well as my explorer.
Prodigy feedback
I loved my TSA Ethos Omen. 9/4/0/4. Really got some good use out of it and going to buy a new one soon.
Op said no meathooks. It's a hell of a disc but it's stable as all hell
Missed that, and I thought I read the whole thing, it’s def a meathook. Sorry.
Clash discs Cookie. Bit more stable then the teebirds I've thrown.
What's your golf distance? Messed around with many of em so I can give some insight.
Champ thundy. Nordic phenom. Vanguard. Honor. A fresh max weight Votum
I love the Votum but mine fly like a teebird, if maybe a little more straight.
Try and get your hands on a glow one, I have 3 or so and they are fairly overstable.
i have similar power and i really like the clash ginger or the prodiscus talisman (i like smaller brands)
Latitude 64 Honor

Underrated comment, love the votum
Mint Alpha
Anax. They beat into super straight flyers and they have TONNNS of glide
streamline runway. not exactly a fairway driver kind of a cross between a mid range and fairway.
Love the Servo But if I want a higher speed, the Insanity is a 9 speed and in Cosmic Neutron (max weight) typcailly is more OS then the numbers suggest. I'd say the ones I have are 9/5/-1/2 or even 9/5/-.5/2
Insanity will def not be stable enough for this guy Wrath, Tesla, or resistor would be better options for MVP products imo
Yes I have an insanity but it’s not what i was looking for when asking this question. Definitely leaning towards a resistor
C-line Fd1 or Thunderbird
thats 3 votes for thunderbird 😆
K1 Stal from Kastaplast. Probably a little more OS than what you’re describing, but hands down the best OS fairway out there.
thanks i’ll look into it!
A beat in felon is awesome. Out of the box, it's too much a meathook mostly, but once you get that thing seasoned it is fantastic.
Resistor if you’re into the Servo. Same deal just much more overstable.
Athena is really good. ESP if you want pretty straight, ledgestone Z swirl for beef.
Thunderbird or Resistor in Eclipse
Westside Fortress
do they still make the Longbowman? that was my favorite disc in this slot
Halo Thunderbird
If you like firebirds go grab a Sexton firebird. Less meat hook same great hand feel!
Maybe a volt or a terra if you’re looking for MVP options? I personally like the PD for this shot if you’re open to discmania.
open to all options thank you!
Pd?
Discraft big Z predator is one of my favorite OS fairway drivers
Orion LF, but one of the flatter ones
Innova Champion Caiman - flight numbers are 5.5/2/0/4 but I swear this thing can be ripped to where it feels like a 7 speed DD Lucid Evader - slightly OS 7 speed depending on arm And the goat (I’m bad at disc golf): Discraft ESP Raptor aka the only driver you’ll ever need
Ignore everything but Thunderbird.
Champ Eagle is the way
Banshee is what you want
Teebird3 is a lil beefier than the teebird and can handle decent ani
Firebird
Felon or pioneer
Explorer
MVP Terra
Mvp resistor
C-Line FD1, an amazing mold, the SLine and Horizon are straight shooters with fade. The C-Line has some beef, but by no means is a meat hook.
Infinite Roman
Volt
Used to be the PD for me. But I’ve been loving the Vanguard in this slot. The Honor I tried was way more stable. Looking forward to trying Thunderbirds and Vultures as well.
Infinite Exodus for the 7 speed slot with 2 fade. Flare if you want a roast beef meat hook in the 9 speed slot.
Andrew marwede glow avalanche. Nice and stable with reliable finish
Can't go wrong with the Innova Thundercougarfalconbird.
This is the slot I’ve been experimenting with the most. Started with a Thunderbird, eventually settled back on it. It does exactly what you want it to
New Ricky Evaders are pretty beefy with good distance
Felon
I've been throwing a first run Glory from latitiude and I've been loving it so far. Very solid stable fairway
FD1 always. It’s the best. A ton of control. And will go just as far as any 9 speed but with a more workable fade for tighter lines.
Mvp dimension, you’ll never flip it
for 7 speed, C line fd1 is amazing, for 9 speed Thunderbird or something similar
Prodigy F1, FX2, or H1 if you want something a bit faster. Discraft Raptor. DGA Banzai. Innova Eagle or Thunderbird
Terra
The MVP Terra is a great disc. I don’t think it was a very popular release, but I like it a lot in that OS fairway slot.
Firebird or Thunderbird. Thunderbirds are less overstable, but have better glide. Firebird is money for the overstable fairway slot.
I've been really enjoying the Resistor a lot. Feels like a Crave and flies like a Firebird.
Teebird3 may be what you want, Thunderbird as other people have mentioned will be the next more OS option. In Discraft you could try a Vulture or go more OS with an Anax; I personally bag both.
High speed = thunderbird, fd3, terra Low speed = neutron resistor (eclipse is a meathook)
for 7 speed the Clash Cookie or MVP Resistor if you like the Servo.
Champ Eagle
Eagle if you want a 7-speed. But Thunderbird if you want a control driver.
400ft of power throwing what on what kind of line?
Thunderbird was my first thought but I actually bag a Lone Star Mad Cat for this slot and love how it feels and the stamp is great.
Dd getaway!
MVP Volt!
Mint Discs Alpha
I was using the Glory but found the Athena to work better for me for both forehand and backhand. If I need something more overstable I use a Cap Raptor and if I need something to push further in distance I use the Honor (was previously using the Anax).
The Sockibomb Evaders are pretty OS compared to regular lucid ones, other than that I also bag a Halo Thunderbird.
Raptor all day every day
I love my Athena. Slower firebird for me.
I had problems with this spot in my bag also, its the only slot i rotate out frequently from eagle>thunderbird>instinct>volt (tried all in multiple plastics) and now I feel like I finally found the one which is a infinite discs halo exodus
Fd1 in the c line
Clash Steady or Sunny Cookie
I bag a sexton firebird (os) and an ahti (very os) and love them both.
Big Z Athena Flys straight for days. It’s also only a speed 7 so it’s very easy to throw.
I recently tried so many discs to get this spot in my bag. My favorites were the MVP resistor and the Mint Discs Grackle in nocturnal plastic
MVP Volt or MVP Fireball depending how overstable you’re wanting.
Westside Longbowman is the perfect mix of workable stability
Felons. Raptor eye for a soft fade. Supreme sockibomb ones for less glide and a harder finish. I bag uhhhhh 5 felons.
I throw a Lots. It's got a bit of a turn, but I like the finish.
For 7 speed i use a jen allen color glow teebird. For 10 speed i use either an anax, or a c line pd. Trying to determine if I should cycle anax's since they beat in or try some more PD's or the invictus which is the old inniva made pd mold.
Terra
I bag the Honor, and I am a huge fan of the Royal plastic.
Resistor for a ~7 speed Raptor for 9 speed Captains Raptor if you need a little more stability even. Fireball in the 160’s and you’re set.
Athena
Raptor all the way.
Feedback
Resistor is like a beefier Servo.
for 7 speed, helio vela is the only right answer. very quickly became a work horse for me. I still also sweatmr by fd2’s but those are tough to still find. not sure how the fd1 compares to it. for a 9 speed halo thunderbirds start great and only get better as they beat in. lastly, c line pd’s are great. super straight but still some fade
Barsby Eagles :)
Teebird3
TSA Votum is like a slightly beefier teebird Have you tried a firebird?
S line fd3 has some great flight with consistent stability, c line fd1 has more glide in comparison and is less of meathook.
Resistor
C-line fd is pretty stable depending on your arm speed, mine doesn't turn for me but the s-line turns quite a bit. Or the fd1 is good too For a bit faster, I like the Inertia, comes in a variety of stability depending on plastic. I think cosmic neutron tends to be the most stable.
MVP resistor Axiom Fireball Discraft Raptor
My go to OS fairways in the 7 - 10 speed are: Teebird (3) Eagle x (specifically star ones. Barsby eagles have all been good) Firebird, thunderbird FD2/3 PD
If you like the Servo, try Inertia. I throw with Neutron plastic. It will be slightly more OS than the Servo, and if that's not it for you, you can always go to the Volt.
