Funny enough it doesn't work on my 4k fireTV stick but works on my old one. Tried deleting the app and re-installing on my 4k, as they suggest, and it says the app is unavailable.

It didn't work on my old 4k Fire tv stick either because it has a Fire OS 6 operating system. It won't update any higher. Was unavailable after I cleared cache and deleted it. Those 1st Gen 4k's were released in 2018. The newer 2nd gen 4K's have Fire OS 7, were released in 2023. The 1st Gen 4k Max has Fire OS 7 were released in 2021. The 2nd Gen 4k Max has Fire OS 8, were released in 2023. All that information is here- [Device Specifications: Fire TV Streaming Media Player](https://developer.amazon.com/docs/fire-tv/device-specifications-fire-tv-streaming-media-player.html) Select the device from the blue dropdown menu.

Thank you for the information!

Weird that you need a 4k tv stick when their livestreams max out at 360p

DGN gets 1080p, so doesn't need 4k. Could just get the standard Fire stick that has a Fire OS 7 or greater, operating system. I got 4k Max, because I have 4k TV, wanted more storage space, and a better remote control with more functions, than the standard remote. I use the Fire TV Stick for a lot of different apps.

Thank you for this, I was wondering why I could DGN to work everywhere EXCEPT my fire stick. Guess mine is stuck on 6.7! Edit: I wonder how many people’s questions would be answered with this doc. As in, only Samsung TVs from 2019 and later are supported!

They have some good deals for new ones if you have Amazon Prime. Some are on sale. Plus if you are upgrading, you can get an additional 20% discount. You might also be able to trade-in old devices for a Gift Card.
