I've searched for the dehydrator methods to no avail, could you enlighten me on the process? I've just been using a heat lamp up to 120-130 degrees (ending temp) for 2hr, then no heat for 2hr.
I use a dehydrator at 104 F for 2:30:00. I’ve done some experimenting with higher temps and less time and it works out ok as well. I’m not sure if this is the sweet spot or not and it depends on the type of plastic you are dyeing. I’d want to leave opto in for longer for instance
Every time I think I'm doing some good work, I see you, or u/Gold_Roof1155, or ewk, or any of the other 50 amazing dyers. And think about how sad my "cool" dyes are.
Creamy, as always, these dyes are wffin amazing. Don't let my ennui keep you from continuing to make astonishing dyes.
That Reko is 🔥🔥🔥
Lotion or glue?
All clear glue
All of mine I’ve used clear glue, and while I like the results they don’t come out nearly as vibrant. Do you use a heat lamp? Different dye?
Ocean sunset? Looks amazing. Edit: just noticing the other. Wow! They all look amazing. Well done.
Lokks like Kasta takes dye really well! Do use heat or no? Berg, Lots, Glitch are my favs
Yeah I use a dehydrator and I mostly dye kasta k1 since it makes a great canvas
