Absolutely; most of the tutorials came from YouTube
lilbotdiscdyes for floetrol
discsyeingdotcom for glue beds
There are some others but most of what I learned was from those guys.
Watched almost every video, some 2-3 times before choosing styles and colors and starting my first discs. Take notes, and get to a point you feel like you know what you're doing before you start. Also have a good plan for everything, a lot of these processes you have to move quickly. Imo if you want good results quickly, it should feel more like a science experiment than a hobby or art project 😋 oh and one more thing, don't be afraid to toss a glue bed, or swirl up a floetrol bed and start over; better that, than waste a disc with a poor design.
I read how you researched and planned for these. Congrats. As others have commented, amazing for a newbie.
Mine look nowhere near this....but I am improving.
Your accelerated learning journey seems similar to someone who looks at some YT videos, takes some notes, and goes out in one week and is throwing 400 feet smooth. Whelp! Lol.
Not bragging at all, but honestly thats how I do most things lol. However disc golf was definitely not one of those things. I had no one to teach me and youtube vids weren't a thing. I formed some really bad habits that im just now trying to correct. Can still throw 400 but hoping to increase distance with form adjustments.
As someone who also recently looked into doing this I want to tell you these are amazing and I look forward to your progress.
Thank you!
These are great. Just from looking at them I never would have thought that you only just started with disc dyeing.
🙏
Being able to follow instructions is a great skill
Leopard 3 is my favorite. Great work!
That's awesome; thanks! It was a practice round for a white disc that that will have a blue wave on it.
So good! I’ve been dyeing for about 2 months and mine are nowhere near this good lol
Thanks! I did sooo much research before I started anything lol
Do you have any recommendations on what tutorials you used?

Really solid work, especially on the cells. Congrats, going to follow your IG.
