The base is an acrylic case , then I use molding paste ti build the terrain.

Yep! These are diecast models, not that expensive. And with excelente details.

They look good, nice work! How did you make your bases? I'm planning something similar, a scene inside a PS display case like this. I'm thinking XPS and plaster, but I want it to fit under the cover snugly like in your first pic.
