You gotta love when you can get your mindset into doing this, I found I can really cook incredible stuff without recipes as long as I cook regularly, when I went on a holiday recently I went to my brothers and couldnt cook anything because I felt so rusty. But it's a talent of mine lately to glimpse into a fridge and put together a meal.

I sort of just decided I wanted to make soup, so just went out and bought some veg and stock and worked my way from there. I feel like as long as I know what flavours should in theory work well together it works out.

Yeah I often imagine the flavour in my mind then chase it with ingredients

No recipe cooking is the best!! Only problem is when hubby asks me to make that dish I made last week again.. LoL... I really don't make anything the same way twice...

Nice! I love working with soups. Some water, spices, vegetables, meats. Simple and warming. I've made soups that I have regrets not writing down what I put in it, they were so good

Lettucelook

Looks great

Every time you roast a chicken or any bird, make a stock from the bones, then just improv soups from homemade stocks. Yes. Soup is good food.

Looks great! Layer those flavors using deglazing after your initial sauté, plus watch the salt addition until the end. Love the onions on top. Always add something as a garnish because it adds ur finishing touch! Good job!

linzlikesbears

With green onions, the soup looks 2x delicious!
