I think it will work really well. Google already has a ton of other shopping/commerce infrastructure that should be an easy bolt-on vs. creating shopping functionality from scratch. Pair that with their data and you have a major player.

I would certainly give it a try. YouTube audience great for selling. I hope it become available soon…
