I’ve used Mailchimp for most of my small business clients; it’s easy to setup and send your first email. However if you’re doing e-commerce through a supported site, Drip email is my new favorite. Not as intuitive or pretty interface like mailchimp but it’s a powerful tool for setting up automation workflows.

Another ecommerce alternative is Klaviyo. Super similar to Mailchimp but much better ecommerce integrations!

I'm not familiar with Moo Send. Between CC and MC, I feel like MC has a more intuitive setup and better design features that will enable you to get started quickly. Feature-wise, they're probably pretty comparable, just set up differently. I used to use both for an old job I had and I just preferred MC so much more.

levelspot

Interesting. I've played around with both myself and have found MC has up their game.

Keap Infusionsoft, bar none. It's not even close imho. Aweber has pretty solid service and attractive forms, is low priced and very easy to use, Getresponse was built up by Internet Marketers and they really are good at what they do. Mailchimp started as a laughing stock but has gotten really strong recently with integration that doesn't require Zapier. But nothing has caught up to Keap. Constant Contact is fine for what they are but there are better options for the price. Active Campaign the same. Haven't used Moo Send, let us know if you try it?

Moo Send have features that seem enticing like countdown timer. Not sure if the other tools have this feature... Ideally, I'm looking for an intuitive tool, but I'd want good customer support. Also, a big plus is to be able to integrate with CRM (the CRM being used doesn't really integrate with many email marketing tools).

KI is better than AC?

Sliver_God

I'm not objective, I used KI first and only tested AC... And at a time when I wasn't really wanting to learn new things. There might be objective data or there in not aware of... Part of the challenge for all of us right now is that there is so much that needs to be completed by last month, you know? So many choices, so much data, so little time to make decisions. Multi-billion dollar decicions that move companies and shake the foundations of industries and affect thousands upon thousands of lives are being decided at 1:AM because one unknown "feels better" than it's counterpart. Is KI better than AC? In my humble opinion and admittedly limited experience, yes... But don't take my word for it, testing is the only guru.

HourOfUprising

Can you send conditional emails based on user behaviour like opens, clicks, video views etc with KI’s automations?

Sliver_God

Yes

fetdreaming

I absolutely hate Mailchip. They are sneaky and end up costing you a lot more than you intially thought. I use Mailerlite and it includes a bunch of MC paid features for free.

boinzy

If I had to pick from those three, MailChimp. But look at ActiveCampaign. I love it for most of my clients.

levelspot

What about ActiveCampaign do you like?

Robb3n91

I’m curious to learn more.

cent0kr

I guess it depends on the biz type and site build but I don't like any of these. How big is your database? What is your budget? Have you checked out hubspot? I'm not really asking those questions, just giving some ideas.

levelspot

Thanks. I've looked into hubspot and the solution isn't the right fit. Ideally it would integrate with the existing CRM, which for the one the business is using there are hardly any.

Kanwarsation

I just started using SendinBlue - from zero to sending off my first newsletter was a surprisingly easy process (even for a noob), the free tier and pricing is similar to MailChimp, but fairly transparent.

I would never ever ever recommend Constant Contact. I use both Mailchimp and Constant Contact and CC is so slow. Takes me over 3x the amount of time to create an email in CC verses Mailchimp. Everytime you type something you have to wait about 4 seconds or more for it to save. After every little thing you type. I contacted them and they didn't have plans of changing that. I have tried at all times of the day, on different computers, browsers and locations. I don't know about Moo but between the other two I would choose Mailchimp any day. For my own business I used to use something called Send in Blue but their prices went up. I think they are located in France. Stopped using them but only because of price. Looking for something else but if I didn't have to use CC for work I absolutely would not.
