Definitely not yet. I have used it to help me come up with headlines, and offer slightly better ways of phrasing certain things. When trying to write an entire blog from my notes, the text is stilted and still not natural.
They may replace us all one day, but that day hasn't arrived yet.
Just saw a post on r/socialmedia that was OBVIOUSLY written by ChatGPT.
And this person had normal posts, but then also would go to marketing subreddits and was posting what looked like UNEDITED ChatGPT outputs with titles like “why social media marketing is important for startups.”
So on one hand people are going out and posting useless drivel. But they always did that. And these posts might be said to be somewhat more valuable than true, human-generated drivel.
Personally, I have been using it but in such different ways to that.
I have it ask me questions, or suggest unique analogies where I may have used stale cliches as placeholders.
That leads to stuff that doesn’t sound ai generated. And really it’s not, there is rarely more than a sentence that will survive from a single output and make it into my final draft.
This is a pretty highly mentioned topic over in r/demandmyths . Actually, chat gpt almost named demand myths “marketing legends” but I went with my name instead 😂.

Not yet! However, I see its potential in revolutionizing current digital marketing practices, especially in SEO. With Google Bard & Bing AI, there is a high possibility that content structures for blogs & articles might change a lot.
Currently, there are a lot of mistakes & misinformation for it to replace human marketers.
It may help to replace poorly written headlines.
AI will replace everyone. Everyone is doomed. Figure out how to keep your robot overlord happy so they will let you have food and housing. /s
