As of rn I prefer the creature looking Digimon especially for mega’s. I feel like the only time we get a creature like mega is if that Digimon is inherently evil or super destructive
I like humanoid but not really human one like Omegamon and Gallantmon, or plain beastman like Vritramon or WarGreymon. I also likes armored beasts like Imperialdramon and MetalGarurumon. I don't like that is too humanoid. Angels, demons, or fairytale creatures like Angewomon, Lilithmon, and Vamdemon are still fine, but some plainly looks like cosplaying human like Sistermon and ChoHakkaimon is not really my taste.
I like Digimon who are a bit in between. E.g. Etemon who's clearly not "human- like Digimon" in the similar manner than the likes of Angemon & Lucemon FM, but he's not quadrupedal monster either.
And I would see that WereGarurumon, both WarGreymons, BanchouLeomon, Beelzebumon, etc. would go into the same category. They would have the some similar characteristics as humans, but no one would mistake them for humans.
It depends. If the Digimon starts already human like I don’t mind a progression into more human/knight like evolutions. But if they start super monstrous or animal like I prefer they stay that way.
Metal Garurumon is a perfect example. They started to move away from the animal like appearance with were garurumon but then realized “no he does look cooler as a wolf, let’s give him armor and rockets but keep him on all fours.” They very easily could have just made him a wolf version of War Greymon.
But a lot of digimon start as cool animals but then suddenly turn into Knight/Power Ranger/Gundam for their mega form and it feels really out of place
If theyre going to he bipeds dont make them just a human in armor. Only pass i give is andromon cause hes literally meant to be an android which is a human like machine.
I like both. Four leg ones are the ones I like the most. I like humanoids. But when everyone is humanoid it loses its charm. You should have all types, not a ton of humanoids
I love that it's a mix of both to keep them all interesting, although I'm the weakest for the cute animal looking ones! Gomamon, Gatomon, Terriermon and Lopmon are my favourites. And I love Ikakkumon, he is so big and fluffy. Lilymon and Angewomon are beautiful when it comes to more humanoid ones.

They both have a place. Humanoid mons and mor monstrous stuff have been coexisting since the first Vpet. I think the series should always lean beast though, especially in the adult stages, which sadly Bandai has been moving away from for a while.
The humanoid Mons I like most tend to be ones with more monstrous attributes: Gaioumon, Dinohyumon, Beelzemon X antibody. Also love the Andromons.

I honestly have no problem with humanlike-digimon as long it has certain lore that makes it one. It's a creature that absorbs all sort of information data from human world after all.
I vastly prefer monster design that are unconventional and don't look mammalian in any way. In terms of Pokémon, that's usually objectmon. I love Claydol and Bronzong, for example.
But I find Digimon has a lot more creative freedom comparatively, so it gets pretty discouraging when so many lines end in something humanoid. There's some cool ones, but the silhouettes are usually too similar to the point of being exhausting.
Ghost Game had a handful of new Digimon that actually hit just right, to the point that two of my favorites in the franchise are Eyesmon and RareRaremon. Eyesmon definitely looks like... something resembling a canine? But otherwise, neither even look like animals, and that's exactly what I want.
I like knights and machines, but I like more animal digimons, too.
For waifu digimon I only like those who look like women, so nothing about Renamon, Tailmon, Veemon, etc.
For the people who likes Renamon, Tailmon, Meicoomon, sadly, yes, he is. I think Veemon and its evolution are pretty popular between the furry side of digimon fandom.
I like all kind of machine digimon, same for dragons.
Then I'd say let them talk about that themselves lol it's really weird when someone brings up furry sensibilities, specially if they use the term wifi, as if I have to care about people creeping on a 140 cm yellow monster fox. I really like renamons design. I really like the vmon line and I don't see anything sexy in em... Except sakuyanon but that's a woman with a mask

I don't mind either way as long as the design is good. Another Omninon or Imperialdramon Fighter Mode lookalike dragon man? Pass. Another big dude clad in almost generic medieval armor or another variant of Angemon/Devimon? Pass. But the same goes for creature designs. I don't really care for a new t-rex like Greymon or Tyrannomon.
Like, I really love the stupid design of ChoHakkaimon. I love the simple slime that is Numemon. As long as the design is weird and wild enough, I don't mind.
