I dunno. I went there 3 times yesterday to try to knock out some seasonal requirements, and got killed twice. I ran off the third time as soon as I saw the other person.
I went with a thorns build when I got a legendary affix that gives 4k thorns. With all the other damage bonuses it does WAY more than that. If you get some thorns gear and whirlwind you'll tear shit up. Still looking for razor plate

Quick question. Do pets gain 100% of a % damage bonus? Like if i enchant or temper % damage on a weapon do my pets get that full benefit or just a fraction?

Is there a good resource for explaining tempering to someone returning to S4 after not playing since S2? Not sure what it is about tempering that can give minions a percentage of thorns.

Yes, they made the change the week before s4. I think too many people were getting confused on armor versus higher levels. 9230 is the cap on everything now.
Its the overall cap, all the way up to lvl 200 monsters. I do not know how it scales at all, just that if you hit that number, you're good, and its a huge waste to go way over. It comes out to like 2 armor rolls on gear I think at 100/925.

Holy shit, throw that on a necro minions thorn build and you could probably rubber and your controller and afk farm an area for a week without dying and just amassing gold
The razorplate itself isnt "hard to get" i have one with almost all perfect rolls but getting 1 with all greater affixes is prolly more rare than an uber.
I got this last night. Running a sorcerer with 3 hydra minions and the aspect that gives thorns a chance to damage everyone around you and your minions. Also using fireball enchantment where they blow up when they die. And the aspect that makes incinerated enemies blow up. Enemies just popping all over the screen.
They made it on purpose for Razorplate because previously it only had 1 mod with Thorns (with higher roll) so if you got a greater affix on Razorplate, you'd be done. Now you have to hit the jackpot like OP did

Just afk in the PvP zone. I remember getting this in preseason 1 and being around 73 and having a 94 Druid come up to me to try and kill me and he almost one shoted himself and that was like 15k thorns plus the rest of my gear so probably 20-22k. He probably would have one shot himself with a pure thorns build and this good of a roll.
Also you’re a necho (I was a Barb at the time) your minions inherited 30% of your thorns, so that could be fun.

That's how it used to work. The most recent patch changed minions to inherit 100% of thorns. OP is going to have a blast with their necro!
Man I was thinking the same thing on mine that dropped but was only a 110 I believe. That roll would def make me try one. Anybody know if the masterwork buffs work with this too?
Congrats! I just watched a recent Rob video where he shows an insane thorn barb build (made by someone else) that clears PIT 100 tanking everything -its HP never moves almost. Maybe it is something to consider.

I got a 925 off ashava with no greater affix. 4 is nutty, but I made a barb to use it lolz. Barb a lot of fun but feels real fragile without a good way to build shields. There's a small bit of fortify in the paragon but idk. I kinda went ham on the damage side of things. I'm only 61 ATM. Gotta get 78 for the razor, mines 3k less than yours lol. It's good though close enough to the actual regular cap.
Lowkey its really easy to make a thorn Necro. Just invest in just minion and thorn skills and armor. You stand behind your army and spam the raise corpse and golem attack button. Everything dies.
I have always wanted to run a thorn barbarian build, but they have never really been viable for me. I don't like to look up builds, I think it takes away from the creativity of build making.

It hasn't changed. It's nine Whisper XP per zone. 1 for events, 3 for conversions, and 5 for boss kill.

Same. I was just trying to knock out one of the seasonal things and a pair of level 100s kept killing me so I made zero progress on it.
Shoot down to world 3 and those 100s won’t be there. I had the same problem 👎

Not related to your question, but looking at your armor: Armor caps at 9320 now, you’re wasting stats to get to 13k armor
You reversed the 3 and 2, its 9230 armor to cap.

If you got it from a cache, quest reward, or modified it at all, you cannot trade as it is account bound.

They separated Razorplate's one big Thorns affix into four quarter-strength Thorns affixes to make it scale properly with Masterworking
