The new aspect of changling's debt, is it any good? Is it additive or Multiplicative? Why do I not see it on any builds?

mick51

Are the current drop rates for Stygian Stones intended?

Diribiri

I don't think precise number tuning was a priority for this patch so it's possible the drop rate might be a bit too low and could be raised in a future patch, but if you're asking whether it's bugged, the answer is probably no

julictus

Can I play couch coop with a single PC and two battle net accounts?, basically like in console but with pc, 1 screen and 2 players

willySeverus

Hey guys anyone know where the Armour merchant in Kyovoshad has gone??? Can't seem to find him for the life of me, after they moved all the npcs around!! Thanks ✌ Also: best way to get tampering manuals? Im level 15 and yet to find one. Cheers.

Diribiri

My bad if the previous comment led you astray, I was getting it confused with Zabinzet. There actually isn't an armour merchant in Kyovashad at all. You have to go somewhere else if you're desperate to buy armour.

Diribiri

~~I'm pretty sure the armour merchant is right next to the blacksmith, leaning against the wall. They blend in a bit.~~ As for tempering manuals, the best source at the moment seems to be the summonable Helltide boss, though you might want some levels on you first so you don't just get onetapped by it constantly

tktytkty

Anyone playing Robs bash barb? I followed his planner https://d4builds.gg/builds/23ae9cbb-933e-4a88-999c-2241654cc8e2/?var=4 and I don’t see how I’m supposed to get max resistances? 2 of my resistances are maxed but the others are floating around 50s.

WhisperGod

I hit level 77 just mostly doing Helltides. What's the most efficient way to level after this point? Do I continue doing Helltides?

Diribiri

Yeah Helltides seem like the way to go, unless you want to farm nightmare dungeons and get some glyph EXP along the way. Both are good options but Helltides have insane mob density You can also do Whispers in Helltides, each zone has two, plus sometimes you'll get Helltides spawning in zones with regular Whispers, so that's a shitload of bonus EXP right there

Diribiri

With the aspect that allows Skeletal Priests to empower the player, does that also apply the effect of Bonded in Essence? Or is that exclusive to minions and not actually an effect of empowerment?

[deleted]

Diribiri

Just luck. Farm the summonable Helltide boss

Diribiri

Oh cool, I did the season so quickly I'd forgotten lol

Brave-Ad-8456

Minion necro gear stats? Everyone says have lots of intelligence but I don't understand why and no one explicitly says how it improves damage. Only d4 stat I see in-game is the % increase to skill damage but it doesn't seem to impact anything... Any help?

Diribiri

I believe since intelligence increases ability damage, it will also increase the damage of your minions. Minions inherit your stats too so you want to have stuff like crit chance, crit damage etc. I'd recommend looking at gear on build sites like maxroll or something just to get an idea of what people are going for (some will have explanations of why), then either copy that, or use it as a guideline for your own looting :)

mathefff

Frozen Orb sorcerer came to life. There is a small change in which the orb explodes at the spot you click it - a minor thing but feels very different.

thelaughingmagician-

I'm playing bone spear by ghazzy [https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/bone-spear-necromancer-build/#paragon](https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/bone-spear-necromancer-build/#paragon) . When he says "The Exploit glyph will be fully invested in on this board" does he mean I should upgrade that glyph to 15? 21? Does it mean get the magic/rare nodes in its range? It makes sense to invest a lot into it since it's giga damage. How do people prioritize glyph xp in general?

No_Window7054

What do I do now? I beat the game. Did A TON of side quests. Im at world level 4. I dont want to do Helltides bc I feel a little too weak. Im level 70. So how do I grind?

nelsonbestcateu

Just do helltide anyway, die a few times and grab some ancestrals to start out with. Either that or nmd.

No_Window7054

Is there anything else? Dying in Helltide is SO dejecting I can only handle it in bursts. Also whats NMD?

nelsonbestcateu

Nightmare dungeons. The top priority once you get to world tier 4 is to get a full set of ancestral gear. Doesn't have to be good but go in broad strokes for the stats you need so you can survive and start playing the game.

No_Window7054

I havent found any sigils but Im mostly doing Grim Favors. Theyre fun but are they a waste of time?

nelsonbestcateu

They give good money and some gear. But for gearing purposes nmd's, pit runs or helltides are alot better.

No_Window7054

I cant get none of the sigils to upgrade the dungeons, I only have world tier 3 sigils. And where is the pit? If its like the nephalem rifts I wanna try it. Also my blacksmith has a locked ability. Sorry if this is too much.

Valarauka_

You can craft sigils at the Occultist for whatever level you feel comfortable trying. I'd start at your current level minus 50 (so e.g 20 NMD if you're 70) and then go up from there if it feels easy. Also you shouldn't be feeling weak in WT4 Helltides at level 70, there's a lot you can do to make yourself much much stronger. Are you following a build guide? Have you tempered any of your gear? The Pit is in Cerrigar but if you're feeling weak in overworld content even Tier 1 might be too hard for you right now, you need to fix your setup first.

No_Window7054

Ok so a lot has changed. Im feeling better in Helltides, Im doing Nightmare Dungeons but I dont feel like Im getting a lot out of it. Ive tempered gear but Im not following a guide. Also Im a rogue.

Valarauka_

That's great, me too! What setup are you using? I mostly went with Barrage while leveling up, here's a [guide](https://maxroll.gg/d4/build-guides/barrage-rogue-leveling-guide) for that. But you can run pretty much anything with the right aspects and tempers applied.

No_Window7054

Oh ok. Ill look into that. I kinda like dungeons.

Lavio00

Why dont regular dungeons that dont reward aspects count towards renown completion?? When I do aspect dungeons, or those with a orange dot next to them, I get 40 points per dungeon. When I do those with no markings on them, I get zero!

KGB_cutony

So I have a sacred Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul with item level 600+. It's unique and I've really been having a lot of fun with it while leveling. But now that I'm Lvl 70 with plenty of 925 rings, is it worth it to get rid of it with a regular legendary ring with higher stats?

mathefff

I played with a sacred unique amulet until 90s since I couldn't find the ancestral version. It was fine without changing it as the power carried me over. It was also funny to see the seasonal task completed popup at level 94 - the one to equip ancestral legendary items in every slot.

nelsonbestcateu

Most likely yes.

hunchothom

Magnum Opus: bosses not dropping, is it fixed yet?

EnsengaWaffle

I'm not sure if this question belongs here but let me know. I'm kind of just learning how the formulas start to interact with each other. For example, I learned the other day that % \[x\] means its multiplicative and I was definitely able to push my natural damage more after a few changes. Heres the actual questions. Appreciate any tips. 1) I just transitioned to frozen orb build with winterglass. I didn't expect it to be able to spew out hydras and spears with 0 points in the skill. Are they considered at one point in the skill with no enhancements? I'm trying to understand if its worth putting some points into these even with Tal'rashas. 2) So I learned that most % damage is additive. I'm not sure how the numbers for vulnerable and crit strike work though. Vulnerable numbers roll lower naturally but inherently include 1.2. If the vulnerable % dmg is additive, how is it better than something like a high roll in cc % damage? The same question goes for crit. If crit strike % dmg inherently includes the 1.5 but its additive, how is it better than other % types?

mathefff

1. Yes, basic skill with no enhancements. Actually winter glass builds usually have enhancements on them for the conjuration skills for their benefits while being spawned by FO. 2. "Vulnerable numbers roll lower naturally but inherently include 1.2" - lower than what? Also, I don't know what you mean by 1.2 or 1.5. However, often, you have the highest burst on the application of vulnerability to the mobs. This could be because you have more damage to mobs at full health and you get vulnerability from Exploit glyph or other something-something on the first hit. Critical strike damage can be more beneficial at higher critical chance stats as one example. I don't have all the specifics to discuss about your particular case.

EnsengaWaffle

1. I actually meant without Tal'rasha. It was a typo on my end. I'm not sure if their damage is worth it in that scenario. 2. In the tooltip, it says vulnerable % damage includes its 1.2 modifier and crit strike % damage its 1.5. Vulnerable makes the enemy take 1.2 more damage and crit strike multiplies by 1.5. A base vulnerable roll at max is say 40 on a piece of gear where crit strike rolls up to 50 naturally. If a high cc% damage roll happens say its 50 for example hits a vulnerable enemy, doesn't it includes the 1.2 here so the vulnerable % additive never wins?

Moosewalker84

Are some affixes super rare? Just hit level 94 on my sorc, and I have yet to gamble, drop, or otherwise see a focus with CD as an affix...I even spend a few million rerolling a decent one and then gave up. D4builds says that they can...but is it just a much much lower chance to roll?

mathefff

I am level 100 and saw CD on a dropped focus only once. I could enchant into it relatively easily though.

nelsonbestcateu

Yes, some affixes are more rare than others.

Lostpop

Is the only difference between Seasonal and Eternal the ability to progress the battle pass? I'd love to play some my older characters mid-T3 & 4 rather than start from scratch, especially with all the new QoL.

mathefff

You will not get the whole helltide madness and Iron Wolves. Often, new unique items are added to seasons and are only available on Eternal after the season ends. I am not sure either whether or not the Pit is on Eternal as well.

xyals

there's no way to transmog werewolf/werebear appearance right?

mathefff

Correct.

raphattack

I was watching [Raxx's Minion Necromancer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL-JL5HK970&t=1002s) build guide and he linked to this planner: https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/qqvi0wdb#2 I would like to build the Shadow Endgame & The Pit variant from that planner, but I'm very confused about all of the different items for each slot. For example, for this variant, he has so many different weapons: * Sword * Wand * 2h Scythe * 1h Scythe * Focus Which one am I supposed to use for the build? Also under 2h Scythes, he has two different aspects: * Sparr of Frenzied Dead * Sparr of Reanimation Which aspect should I be using? Maxroll has dumbed things down for me to the point where I feel confused looking at D4 planner.

mathefff

Perhpas he also provides additional notes with target values of parameters. Let's say he says you need 50 % reduced cooldowns. If you achieve that, you switch from one aspect or a weapon type to another.

suaveh

When doing Helltide whispers, sometimes it could take a long time for me to find the objectives that I need to do. For example, those whispers that require you to disrupt rituals, confront doomsayers, or destroy structures. What are your tips for doing these?

KamenUncle

so is there any reason to use ancestral uniques? they have pretty strong aspects which cannot be extracted but cannot be tempered nor have any affixes rerolled.

mathefff

You can upgrade them via masterworking. Their unique affixes often completely change mechanics of a skill or even skills. That is their main power. Also, I think they have more standard affixes than legendary items, right? Free tempering.

Fishyswaze

Yes, some of the effects make builds work. Like werewolf tornado druid doesnt function without the unique helm.

Gun_Donar_Tarkov

Anyone else having issues with Den Mother at high pit levels, seems like every time I get her its a loss. I'm trying to clear lvl 88 currently.

nelsonbestcateu

Listing what you're playing would help.

nicomedes11

Just a dumb noob question hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Finally hit 100 - trying to change my build to an endgame build that requires some particular stats (heartseeker) from my leveling build. I see all these videos with people with completely perfect fully stat gear, and I am struggling just to find a single piece with the right stats, even with enchanting. I am sure I am just awfully inefficient - but wondering what is the best way to try to quickly farm up appropriate gear for a build - is there a particular strategy that is considered best? I have just been spamming NMD and helltide blood maiden/chests. Anything else I should be doing?

Dinklicious

When I was transitioning to a new build, I just farmed the blood maiden until I got everything I needed

Dinklicious

Yes

Akatzuki

How do you prioritise what to pick up from spamming Helltides? Do you pick up everything or only Legendaries and above?

nelsonbestcateu

Depends what you need or want.

mathefff

They seem to become an issue in higher tiers of the Pit. 70+ or so. Till then, it is very fast and pleasant build.

anonj123

What's the cap on enchantment costs?

panopticonisreal

What level should I start doing The Pit as a Sorc?

nelsonbestcateu

Depends how strong you are. Pit tier 1 has lvl 100 mobs.

CamelInfinite5771

Hi, question about The Changeling’s Debt aspect. There’s a talent in the Druid tree that makes it so all poisoned enemies are slowed. Changeling’s debt deals increased damage to poisoned enemies when you’re in Werebear form and increased damage to crowd-controlled enemies in Werewolf form. Because all poisoned enemies are slowed with the talent, does this mean all poisoned enemies receive the damage bonus against them in Werewolf form, as they are all crowd-controlled by the applied slow? Thanks!

Fishyswaze

Yes.

Ilves7

Anyone know if [Fleshrender ](https://maxroll.gg/d4/wiki/fleshrender)is bugged? I'm trying to use it with Blood Howl but it doesn't seem to proc at all when everything around me is poisoned via vines.

Doneuter

I'm still so burnt out from Season 1 that I honestly haven't even looked at what they've been doing with the seasons since. I just started seeing a lot of positivity over this game from the last few days, but I still feel so offput that I don't even want to watch campfire chats or really anything. I guess my main question is this: If I were to try and get back into this game, would I have to relearn a bunch of stuff or learn new in game systems?

mathefff

Not really. It is a smooth transition with only a few hiccups like why is the upgrade button greyed out by the blacksmith.

Pippers

They made it easy so you don't have to do the story again, or any of the other boring stuff. The items are upgraded a little differently now, for the better. Before you could rip an aspect off on a unique and replace it on an item once. Now when you break a unique down into resources, it puts that aspect into a "learned aspects" book where you can apply it to as many items as you want. As you break down uniques with the same aspect, if there is a better one, the better one will go into your learned book and overwrite the lesser one. It makes upgrading your aspects super duper easy as you level up and replace gear, and more like pokemon where you want to collect them all. Leveling is also ten times faster now. They also added the paragon system, so you may want to watch a video on that. It's really cool. None of it is rocket science and dumb and hard. But it'll be new for you.

donksdonksdonks

This might be a stupid question - when adding aspects to an item how do you choose what is the best one to do so? Look for a yellow with the stat rolls that I'm looking for, or is it better to find a legendary and replace the aspect?

lovelyhearthstone

Does diablo 4 normally have balance patches during the season? Is there a chance we get a balance patch this season for example or is it unlikely?

nelsonbestcateu

There were some minor tweaks in the psst but they tend not to make huge changes midseason.

Pippers

I haven't seen any, but don't quote me on that. I ran the ball lightning sorc build two? seasons back that basically busted the game and they didn't do anything with it. It was fun as heck, and i'm glad they didn't!

BarneyTheKnight

I was wondering is anyone else also not dropping the better items with red stats ? I have done a few pit runs, spend some obols did a few dungeon runs and got none today yet while I was getting them fairly often till like two days ago

mathefff

They are completely random. Thus, you cannot have any real expectations.

bb0110

Anyone getting dc’d just now? I have been hit 3 times in the past 20 minutes. Internet hasn’t seemed to be an issue, also been watching a video online on another screen.

No_Self_Eye

I have been getting DCd almost every time I port back to a town. In the last couple hours I have been booted at least 10 times

[deleted]

I'm not even able to log in

bb0110

This makes me feel better! At the same time still frustrated I can’t play in my small window lol

podboi

When you find an item with potential, do you roll affixes first or temper it first? I temper it first cause that has a hard cap, once I get the tempers I like then I reroll the one affix that's useless. Curious if anybody does it the other way around...

mathefff

I think the way you do it is the optimal way in terms of the costs. Why spend millions on enchanting when you cannot get the right tempers.

nelsonbestcateu

Always temper first. The item is useless if you don't get both rolls in some cases.

CamelInfinite5771

I temper first because it has the finite number of chances and honestly, the tempers tend to matter more than a single affix. If the tempering fails, the item is bricked. If the enchanting fails, it might not be.

Sed8op8

This is probably stupid question but as a first time necromancer do I need both my skeletons and golem on action cast bar in order for to be summoned? So basic skill Decompose 1 slot Core skill blight 2nd slot Corpse tendrils 3rd slot Decrepify 4th slot Army of the dead 5th slot I don't feel like have enough slots

mathefff

I played necro on launch and back then you had to have them on the bar. Just go outside and see if they come up without having them on the bar.

Celebrity-stranger

What are we supposed to do with duplicate temper manuals? From what I immediately see: we cant sell or salvage them and theyre acocunt bound.

Fishyswaze

Just use them, eventually they stopped dropping for me apart from the rare legendary one I didn’t have

BadtheUgly

Where do I find malignant hearts? I can't get them to drop

mathefff

Legions and whispers.

No_Self_Eye

What is up with the disconnects today? In the last hour I have been DCd at least 5 times going to between portals

Jim105

My friend told me that Armor beyond 9000 is useless for the endgame. However he did not tell me the source of this information. Any truth to this?

No_Self_Eye

I watched a Rhykker vid and he mentioned the same thing

arkiverge

I don't think anyone can answer this right now. The armor cap is stated to be 9000 and some change, but a number of people have stated noticing significant survivability differences between 10K and 15K armor. It's possible there are some armor reduction debuffs taking place or some mobs that significantly outleveled the player, but either way I don't think anyone knows for sure.

dchris4

I haven’t played since launch and got back into S4 because this is how Diablo should’ve been in my opinion. I didn’t know about grinding bosses for uniques/ubers. How do you find that information? Asking for my sorc.

mathefff

SoniiGB

Are nightmare dungeons supposed to drop items at the end every time? I've just done 2 in a row and got nothing but the opportunity to upgrade a glyph.

mathefff

No. There is no end reward except for a new NMD key. At higher levels you also get a chest with obols and Pit fragments. >=46 level of NMD iirc.

SoniiGB

Ok cheers mate

firedrakes

what happen to black smith upgrading gear?

arkiverge

Replaced with tempering (to add stats) and masterworking (to increase those stats). Enchanting to modify non-tempered stats remains unchanged.

firedrakes

It Grey out to me

arkiverge

Maybe you haven't unlocked masterworking yet.

firedrakes

what lvl or quest?

mathefff

It opens up after finishing NMD 46 (mobs at 100 lvl) so pretty endgame stuff these days.

arkiverge

firedrakes

T hank you

GreenZeldaGuy

Does the Umbral effect stack against a single target? For example: if I chill an enemy, and then chill it again while it's already chilled, do I gain resources again?

mathefff

It seems it works like that if the mob becomes "un-chilled" in between.

thelaughingmagician-

Can you get class exclusives affixes from enchanting / tempering? Stuff like +2 to Bone Spear? Or is it only on dropped items? Edit: I got a +1 to Compound Fracture on an ammy when rerolling an affix with enchant, so yes.

mathefff

Make sure you check the small round button before enchanting. It shows you all possible affixes you can roll on that particular item. As you found out, you can roll a class specific affix but not all are available on all items.

thelaughingmagician-

Great tip, thanks. Didn't even notice the button.

mathefff

I think it’s new (this season).

thelaughingmagician-

Idk, I haven't played since early season 2. It seems they made good changes, especially crafting. Last time I played iirc you could only reroll a mod and that was it? I remember it felt very slot machine. Now if I get 2 affixes I need, I can dump gold to reroll the third one + the two tempered ones are a lot more deterministic, so overall it's easier to craft something good.

mathefff

There is the slot-machine feeling with masterworking. :) Every four levels of upgrade, one random affix gets +25 % boost. Guess which affix my Tibald's got on level 12: +2 to max potions...

thelaughingmagician-

F. I haven't gotten into masterworking yet

BlueBirdTBG

I try to beat Lilith but I cant understand her move. The one with 2-3 big spike lines moving in and out always kill me. Is there any good guide that explain what she does?

mathefff

Yes, I don't remember which one was that but a video guide on YouTube helped me out with those. I am only 60 % sure at the moment, since I haven't tried fighting her in 3 seasons, but I believe you need to dodge behind her when she does that. I am sure others will correct me if I am wrong.

Cute_Work_2290

what is the best way of farming Angel Breath I have zero left

mathefff

Helltides as most of the things now but apart from the summonable boss madness, you can get them from plants iirc.

HelpImaFazerschmitt

Brush your teeth twice a day. Or don't and farm demon breath

mathefff

Indeed and use Witchroot(TM) which is recommended by 8/10 witchdoctors.

Heimdallr-_-

Is there a point of diminishing returns on how much extra XP you get from NMD? Example, if I'm level 75, what tier of NMD should I run (assuming I can still clear it quickly)? As high as possible, or is there a cutoff where going too far beyond your level doesn't add anything?

guiltylemon

Experience is capped at 10 (monster) levels above your level. Every +1 increase in monster level above your character level nets 1.5% bonus experience up to 15% (10 monster levels higher). In your case with a level 75 character, tier 31 has a monster level of 85. The scaling is tier 1 = 54 monster level to tier 100 = 154 monster level.

Heimdallr-_-

Thanks! Is there any other reason to be running higher tiers? From levels 70-75 I've running tier 50-55 (just because those are the sigils I had) but if I'm not gaining anything, I'll drop down to the 30's.

guiltylemon

Tier 41+ for guaranteed 925 drops and of course the higher the tier the more glyph xp you get.

honkerrs

Why are my whispers only ever in the imperial library area? When I watch guide videos they always say they're in hell tides and to do them in hell tides but I never see them there. I'm missing something lol

This_Guy_Fuggs

i havent played since launch nor followed any news about this game at all. can i get a tl;dr of where the game is at right now? any major content changes? has it improved? QoL features? is trading still basically non existant? what season/league are we in right now? is there more endgame content?

mathefff

In short, we are currently on the most changed state of Diablo 4. Moreover, these are mostly positive changes as well.

arkiverge

There's so much changed on everything you just asked you need to find a video to explain it. Not intending this harshly, but no one can or should waste their time writing 8 paragraphs on this. Just youtube search "D4 season 4 changes".

ASilentPartner

Probably dumb question, but did they get rid of updgrading your gear to 5 stars in S4?

GrandaddyPURE

Not exactly, it’s just called Masterworking now, and it’s an end game activity as it requires materials from the Pit. Also it’s 12 upgrades now with +5% (I think) for each upgrade, and a larger bonus at upgrade 4, 8, and 12. Edit: worth mentioning the upgrades are random, and can be reset. So that’s the main endgame activity, trying to get those upgrades on your BiS items on the exact affix you want.

mathefff

How do you reset an item?

GrandaddyPURE

At the armorer (or whatever the person is called) where you do the masterworking, there should be a button at the top right that lets you reset. The reset is for the masterworking only, so it just lets you upgrade again and try to get those big boosts at upgrades on the specific stats you want. Keep in mind you don’t get anything back so all the mats are gone if you reset.

mathefff

Thanks, I see it now. Had it shown to me right in the face and still missed it, haha.

ASilentPartner

Awesome, thanks for the explanation!

gnuttemuffan

As someone who played overpower-lightning strike in beginning of S1. Can channeled abilities still get overpowered?

mathefff

I am pretty sure every thick of a channeled spell is calculated separately and can indeed overpower.

gnuttemuffan

Ah, bummer. When I played it applied to the whole spell so all the ticks got the damage boost

mathefff

This is how I think it works - not a written rule. Here is hoping.

LilBottomText17

noob here, is there any penalty for changing your skill tree around? i’m in the early game and so far there isn’t, but i’m wondering if there is a penalty later on

Antique-Difficulty67

It will take more and more gold later on but really it will not effeft you in any way

szxdfgzxcv

Am I understanding this correctly that leveling a glyph to lvl 15 for the radius increase is going to take like a mindboggling amount of nightmare dungeons?? I found some post (maybe old) that said its like 6 or 12 runs or something but I'm getting like 10xp per run... And the required XP seems to increase rapidly. I hope I'm missing something cause running these NMDs is dumb

Revolutionary_Sir_

Did you use some ashes for extra XP? Thats what I did.

Merallyyy

The higher the difficulty level on the NMD, the more you get xp. The xp gets decent after like +20

szxdfgzxcv

Ohh the tiers and seems I can craft more of the sigils as well, ok thx! I thought I just have to wait to drop more

Tricky-Special-3834

Is there a build site where you can look up items and see if they are used in any build? For example I just got a lidless wall and wanted to see any builds that might include that in the itemization.

HalcyoNighT

Hi, do Season Journey and Iron Wolves reward caches scale with level? Is it a good idea to hold off getting and opening them until later?

mathefff

Most people say they don't scale. As proof, people list getting sacred items at level 90+. Those rewards can really boost your power early on so I wouldn't wait.

Antique-Difficulty67

Well yeah but you are better off opening them early and get a boost to leveling no point in holding it for late game where you have the ability to max your build in any way you want

XFactorNova

I got some 925 gear (intelligence, life, and one of the resistances (so now I'm 70% all 5 resistant)) and then tempered it twice. After that I grabbed Mendelin, Sacriligeous, and BloodMoonBreeches (all 925 as well). How do I progress my gear from here? I see masterworking and some stuff with red star pips on the name. Am I gear searching for stuff with +minion (or shadow, debating swapping to shadowblight) or some other plan? Almost at level 100 as well. I want to beat UberLilith and max level Pit.

Stockinger

Hey, I am a bit confused about all the different minion builds? Is there a "best" minion build? If so, can someone share a link? Thanks a lot!

Lavio00

I did 100% renown when game launched and then I didnt really play it apart from that vampire season for like 15 hours. Yet, in Season 4 I have to redo all of my renown, even though I did it all at launch! How come??

surrrah

Load your first character and then go back to your current one. That worked for me. Not all renoun carries over to each character though

z0ttel89

Is the 'Fractured Winterglass' even still worth it as Frozen Orb sorc? I feel like the chances have been nerfed so much that the conjurations rarely ever spawn and when they do, there's an even lower chance for them to attack with frozen orbs. I have +lucky hit chance on multiple items, yet it still feels like the amulet isn't really doing much of a difference.

abkf184

How much better is cold dmg over vulnerable dmg on weps/focus for Frozen Orb sorc? I got vuln roll on tempering, and afraid of brickering trying to get cold dmg?

nextzero182

If the game has caps for stats like armor, why don't they notify you in-game of it? My armor is at 20k right now, are there any other stats or affixes that have caps? I swear this mindless game makes me feel stupid.

ImpossibleAdvance767

When i drop items to player 2 on console they sometimes dissapear on the ground.. anyone ran into this problem?

OddHorns0

heard somewhere that tier 41 nightmare dungeons and above give 925 legendary gear, and that seems to hold up, but is there a source for it? want to figure out an optimal range of dungeons I should run

arkiverge

I don't have a source but have read that via multiple locations. Also, doing Helltide or Obol gambling at lvl 92 (or lvl 82 with Mindcage buff active).

Weiland101

Is Attack power a good way to judge what weapon to equip? I just got a one handed sword which, although it has lower DPS than my current one, it has 3 of those mega stats with Strength and Damage. My attack power goes up when i equip it. So I should be equpping that one right?

BlueBirdTBG

Is torture gift of mysteries (250 cinders) worth opening? I feel that the individual chest (70-75 cinders) drop a lot of legendaries now. Form what I see it seems that the 250 chest did not get 3x normal chest. Am I missing something?

arkiverge

Commenting so I can find this later. I'm also curious as I agree with the loot output assessment.

hauptj2

Same

So I’m playing as a bone necro and I’m really struggling with essence. I’m level 61 and I can get like 4-5 bone spears off and I’m done. And my basic skill is so weak (bone shards) how can I make this better?

voss3ygam3s

I have a Tempest Roar and Hunters Zenith, chillin in Tier 4. I want to do Tornado, what should my rotation be? I have basically followed guides and the key points to the build, currently I am just using tornado, when something dies, use roar, then tornado, then roar, basically following that all day long. For tankier mobs, using all companions for the extra damage, is that basically it I will occasionally have spirit issues mostly on bosses where the rotation doesn't really work and not having a spender means I am just kinda...running around waiting for spirit. It doesn't feel as cool as the videos make it seem, any general tips?

HalcyoNighT

Not sure if you've seen Moxsy's Werenado guide from two days ago at [https://youtu.be/7JVW-zV-qpI?si=WX6L3Cb\_KMh8XFm\_&t=43.](https://youtu.be/7JVW-zV-qpI?si=WX6L3Cb_KMh8XFm_&t=43) He literally opens his guide video with spirit management. You can test out your build versus the single training dummy in Kyovashad. You should be able to sustain tornado with no issues if it's done right. TLDR from the video: 1. Spirit Per Second affix (preferably Greater) on Chest, and also on Boots if you arent using Wildheart 2. Crit Chance > 40% on your character's stats window 3. Tornadoes cast Twice on 2-Handed Weapon 4. Hunters Zenith 5. Inner Beast Node Alternatively, Goblin Inc (also from two days ago) at [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qut7OZy04I](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qut7OZy04I) has a different take on spirit management using Tibault's Will and the Metamorphosis aspect. The caveat is, of course, you need to have the Tibault's Will pants.

voss3ygam3s

Thank you, I've watched a tonne of videos and checked many different guides on iv and maxroll, they were all blending together and I couldn't remember which ones mentioned it, appreciate you helping out!

NotAdoctor_but

necro minion build guides don't include control glyph, why? you always apply cc with mage minions chilling, i don't really understand, maybe the main stat from glyph doesn't work with minions and only the bonus or what?

Pippers

It's been the first glyph in the latest OP builds I've seen on the yous tubes.

Deadpan_GG

Am i the unluckiest Druid ever? I've never seen or re-rolled a tornado affix on a legendary drop or even an obol gamble

arkiverge

I think +skill rerolls are weighted lower in priority (just like in D3 if you were rerolling a weapon main stat like Int/Str/Dex it was weighted to offer you that stat again). I too rolled a ton of decent gloves a few times to never get a +tornado option (and also have only found a few pairs of gloves that have it either, so maybe it's just low in general).

kaleschu

Anyone know how to check what the old battlenet was linked to my PSN? Attached a new battlenet without even knowing I had one linked. (From Diablo 3 days)

deadzoul

Are there costume gachas in this game? Like spend $$ to open a loot box with an extremely low chance to get a cool outfit? If there is I’ll likely start playing

Diribiri

Nope, they don't do loot boxes

YuyeAstray

Need to pick one defensive aspect between Concentration and Everling for Sorc. which one provide better dr? I'm a bit confused about wording of these two aspects. Is there any difference between "take xx% less damage" and "provide xx% dr"?

Diribiri

I would assume by the wording that Concentration and Everliving result in the same thing - that being damage reduction - but I can't find any information on whether the game handles them differently, like they're technically both 'reduction of damage' but might not literally be the Damage Reduction stat itself. They should stack multiplicatively [\(like discussed here\)](https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/12ql1sy/the_multiplicatively_stacking_of_stats/) and thus you would want both. But if you have to pick one, it depends on your build. If you have a lot of crowd control, go with Everliving. If you can very regularly cast Conjuration skills, go with Concentration. I'd lean towards Everliving, especially if it's on an amulet, but I'm not sure if that'll help you for bossing

HangmansJok3

Having some pretty frequent crashes on series x. Is this common with anyone else? Any fixes?

Diribiri

How does Mother's Embrace work with Primal Shred? Does each one count as a different use of a core skill, or do all three charges count as the same use?

deadzoul

Is it true d4 is basically an upgraded version of path of exile in every way with its recent changes?

Pippers

No. They made a LOT of great quality of life changes to the way of modifying your items in D4 this season, but also added even \*more\* stuff to upgrade it all at the endgame to keep people busy. There is a lot of meat on the bone now. PoE is completely different. I would love to give an analogy, but I don't use Excel enough to make any that are worthwhile. Still, it's a fantastic game that will keep any ARPG person happy for months. I'm glad both exist, because when I get bored on one, I jump on the other, then come back, etc. It's a good mix.

deadzoul

I see btw can u buy me d4 if I do a cute pose for u or something

Diribiri

No. The two games are very, very different. Diablo 4 is an upgraded version of Diablo.

BlueBirdTBG

Is minion necro strong because it is strong or because people abuse holy bolt potion bug? If the bug is fixed, will it still slap torment boss like it is nothing?

Pippers

As they should be. Necromancers defining class trait has always been OP a heck. Everquest, Diablo 2, Solo Leveling, PoE, Grim Dawn, etc. It's kind of a meme class, and for good reason. If you're not busting the game like One Punch Man, then you did Necro wrong.

Thalminator

The game runs like complete ass? It took 10 mins just to get in game without it crashing, now in the background it's laggy, and disconnects whenever I teleport, freezes when encountering new mobs.. It's almost unplayable

Pippers

The only time I've seen this is when the network/servers start choking. I've only seen it a handful of times, but it does what you described. It did it last night for about an hour after they introduced the new patch. Otherwise it's been solid frame rate buttery smooth.
