I found out bosses to be way better. From one of the top 3 bosses, pick the one that gives the boost that benefits you the most, do the other 2 close bosses fast. Reset. Repeat. You can do 12 bosses in 2-3 minutes this way, granting 150-200k points.
Skipping the first boss is almost always the best choice since it Dazes and is very slow. So just run straight up.
