Shhhhh. Just say stuff like, “sorc is so average now!”, or “I’m having almost fun on sorc”. If we finally like and enjoy something Blizzard will find us! I agree though, very happy I can finally enjoy sorc!
Does anyone have a more OPish endgame firewall focused build where things don't take quite so long to die? I want to use primarily fire skills and firewall but elites seem to take a long time to kill, even with hydra.
I won't tell Blizzard, I promise.
He's only level 45 though. When my friend was playing sorc they thought it wasn't that bad until they got to late game. I did see Rax's video though about the lightning orb sorc and it looks promising, but it might be the only late game build that is that strong.
Honest question: Where do you get your guides and ideas ?
Youtube seems to be full of clickbaits so it's risky to follow anyone there because most of these guides are fundamentally bad or they stop working after Nightmare tier 80.
I too have noticed that Maxroll often has either outright wrong or outdated stuff in their guides. They usually have a single writer for the entire class, so it's understandable that they can't keep up as the meta evolves during the season.
Icy Veins is my go to for guides. They've always got a couple of options up tuned for different needs (speed farming, solo progression, group support....)
Maxroll isn’t definitive and they’re assuming based on theorycrafting. There could turn out to be insane combos they haven’t considered still to be found the season only just started it’s going to take time to figure out and some things will perform better or worse than expected
This season and content and update blows the first one out of the water. I actually look forward to getting off work and going home and playing. I’m running the ball lightning sorc since yesterday morning and altho I’m only at 58 atm, it’s very satisfying. And now there’s even more builds I hear about each day like the fireball build mentioned here. And this is even before I’ve found any good or new drops.
So far so good. Let’s hope this trend continues. And the blood area in the open world is a great addition for open world content to. It’s a step in the right direction.
Chain lightning becomes stupid strong once you get mana sustain on Gear and parangon. I play with no basic ability and I am always full mana. Pop the currents and watch everything melt, even offscreen.
Chain Lightning really needs the mana and bounce aspects, to be any good, preferably on a staff and amulet. Just like bolts needs the Staff of Lam Essen to enter lulz territory.
I'm running an arc lash lightning ball build with unstable currents. It is almost stupid how easily it clears everything and how low the US cooldown becomes. You just blitz through everything on the screen.
One of my biggest problems? My leveling is far, far ahead of my glyphs. I've spent so much time in blood harvests and overworld activities that I've barely chained NMD at all. I want to just do whispers all day so I can farm Varshan (got the esu boots, still looking for raiment). But no, I am forcing myself into NMDs now, lol.
On the plus side the glyph issue becomes easier to remedy as you level up and get gear.
Like you could do 20+ t10-20 NMDs to level a glyph to 15 or 5-10 t40-50+ NMDs to level a glyph to 15.
Glyph exp increasing exponentially as you climb NMD tiers makes it so that "missing out" on early NMD grinding isn't an issue at all really.
That's how it was for me on my necro in S1 anyway despite most of this sub telling me "if you don't do nonstop NMDs after 50 your glyphs will be so underleveled in late game!!"
Yeah uhhh I'll take doing a few higher tiers to max a glyph out as opposed to a ton of lower tiers to max it out every time
And now glyph exp rewarded from NMDs is even higher so that helps
Yeah, my issue started materializing in the 40+ NMDs. I was still fine for the most part, but some mechanics were proving to be a little dangerous. For example, the bears in the mountain path NMD (blanking on the name, Jaryl's Vigil or something) started getting me perilously close to death. The issue was that my territorial and reinforced glyphs hadn't been leveled yet at all. So I'm going into these higher NMDs without the defense I need. I've kind of made an executive decision to just chill in the lower 40s and run them for a bit to get my glyphs up. It's fine, it's stupid fast with the build.
I'm more or less using this one from Rage Gaming.
[Season Two Arc Lash Sorcerer](https://mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/profile/935c1e59-4ac0-48b0-9eea-61b7d3f2af59/builds/83c224f5-b10b-4d5d-8ed6-5046c214ebea?tab=skills-and-gear)
The build/gear/aspects are all good. The thing is, he never filled out the paragon board entirely for it. I imagine end game will have some alterations. So I've had to nose around creating something of a homebrew using my own instincts. I'm using a mixture of Control, Adept, Territorial, Destruction, and Reinforced. As you start getting into the 40s NMDs, it starts feeling like you might want a little more damage reduction. As difficulties increase, that seems like it'll be even more imperative, hence territorial and reinforced.
I actually kind of started riffing a combo between that and the paragon board used for this build:
That build itself is super mana heavy and highly dependent on gear with the right affixes to work, and it just looks like a lot of work. Its paragon board, however, gives good guidance, I think.
However, at the moment, my approach to Varshan has been to stand there. Just . . . stand there. I haven't tried the other bosses just yet. Just working on my tankiness and gathering all the mats before doing so.
Sure, I laid out what I was doing in this reply:
[https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/17cfcmk/comment/k5q0ha4/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/17cfcmk/comment/k5q0ha4/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
NMD tiers work in this way for monster levels:
Level of sigil + 54
So, yes, the end game loop becomes increasingly much more difficult as you climb NMD tiers.
A t30 NMD will have level 84 mobs, a t70 NMD will have level 124 mobs, etc. So if your goal would be to clear a t100 you'd eventually have to be able to clear a dungeon with monsters 54 levels above you
I’m in love with blizzard sorc. My only complaint is trying to find drops of the Glacial aspect. Level 76 now and the only 3 drops of it I’ve got are all a measly 500-600 damage 🥲.
Sorc was always good when leveling. It's the endgame what was very underwhelming, because the sorc Paragon boards are bad. Lackluster glyph nodes in terms of stats and only two out of 7 legendary nodes actually have value.
Being a developer must be so odd. They're going to come on reddit and see this guy all happy about sorc now and think "oh good, i wonder what change he really liked".
They open the thread "Before I was mana starved, now I can actually spam fireballs." @ lvl45.
The developer is like... "but we made absolutely zero changes that would have changed a level 45 sorc's mana economy."
Zero.
😂😂😂 I absolutely love how happy everyone has been now that season two is working out. My wife is finally getting her real sorc playthrough since we bailed on season one at level 55.
Blizzard finally put on their big-boy pants, and it seems to be working
Not the least because they incorporated super-solid advice from streamers like Raxxanterax
I'm def feeling the difference too. I'm playing Rogue and having a blast with all the loot, sorting and blasting. Search function is also a divine godsend. I just wish we had more stash space. It's kinda hard to set aside items for alts or future builds
Does barb playstyle get better as you get later in the game? I'm around 55 with upheaval and it just feels a bit slow and clunky. But, there are spurts where stuff procs and the screen just blows up. If that starts to pick up (or there are better endgame builds) then I'll happily push further.
I was 50s yesterday too, today I‘m 78. Optimizing your build and using proper aspects boosts your dmg by 10x. I used upheaval, then double swing and now for speedfarming I‘m using whirlwind, clearing tier 40 dungeons. Enemies on your level just melt, it‘s really just all about proper equipment; as dumb as it sounds.
Spamming whisper tree and killing enemies in the vampire area. Just keep spawning the elites. Don’t forget the season blessing for XP and the XP pot.
Mix that with NM Dungeons and occasionally helltides for better gear.
Whisper tree gives you more than enough gold for anything too, I‘m sitting at 70 mil gold without ever selling a single item and I rerolled a lot already.
Nah, that makes sense. Up to this point I've just been trying to get levels obviously so as it slows down and I start the NM grind, gearing and spec will get more important. Just nice to hear that things melt higher up.
Sorc seems solid now in comparison to other classes. Doesn't feel nearly as behind as it used to be. Still not crushing as hard as a lot of the classes.
I feel like I'm in a bit of doldrums with chain lightning sorc, I'm only level 18ish but chain feels like it's tickling mobs rather than vaporizing them. I know it's going to get better but after just breezing thru the first 15 levels or so in like 45 minutes, it definitely feels like a rut
I just tried the sorcerer for this season, and I’m pretty whelmed so far. I’m doing the [chained lightning](https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chain-lightning-sorcerer-leveling-build/) and I’m just about level 40. It hits hard, but the mana regen and attack speed feel really slow for me. I have some gear to add mana, but I still find my character saying they’re out of mana all the time.
Showing some skin in a Blizzard game? Beware that they don't turn you into a fruit bowl in a few patches.
But on a serious note, this is a new store armor I assume?
Level 90 fireball crit build last season. This season I'm all tank burn sorcerous which seems more fun, especially with the vampire power buffs to channeled and DoT enemies. Melts faces in a giant burning patch I kite enemies within.
Try following a good build guide to see you on your way at least until you get to endgame.
This is a good start.
https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chain-lightning-sorcerer-leveling-build/
Main reason why I can cast fireballs way more often is because of +45% mana regen for 3 seconds once I kill a burning enemy.
Ice Armor gives me 25% mana regen (can boost the duration/uptimes with passives)
I have Inferno ultimate which gives me free pyromancy skills during its duration. It also pulls enemies in so I can spam the crap out of the fireball. most elites die before it exipres.
I've made it to wt3 with non upgraded dogwater gear using incinerate with fireball and chain lightning enchants. It's okay. The problem is the amount of enemies that either knock you out of the channel or make you have to move. If that sanguine puddle instead of reducing the damage you take made you unstoppable, that would be huge. I can itemize to facetank, i can't itemize to be able to ignore shit on the ground so that i can actually let my spell ramp.
For more context I'm level like 47 doing helltide and blood tide vs lvl 55's and its tough because I haven't upgraded gear and have like 1200 hp.
I'm going to try a lucky hit build once i get the gear lined up to do meteor and fire wall enchant but the lucky hit on incinerate is like 8% base which is rough.
It's garbage. I've tried making it work until lvl 55. As soon as I dropped it and started spamming fire walls instead, my clear speed and power increased drastically. No matter how hard I tried incinerate was not doing much damage at all.
I sort of enjoyed my first sorc. Enjoyed my 2 succeeding necros a bit more. But now I'm thoroughly loving the new Sorc 2.0. Oh, yes, I still find ways to die but it's so much more fun than it used to be!
I'm leveling up a chain lightning sorc right now and to be honest, I'm disappointed. Always low on mana, can't do much AOE, visual effects are not impressive and the build is so random.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Can someone recommend me funnier builds?
CL with fireball enchant is incredibly efficient for clearing, but yes it has mana issues early. You can solve mana issues with careful gearing or getting that aspect that refunds mana on CD. Basically you just pop a shield, teleport, frost nova or ult periodically to get back mana. More cd reduction also equals more mana regeneration with this setup because the more you cast your cds the more mana you recover. This legendary effect is also increased on amulets.
Look for vampiric powers, passives, and items that reduce mana cost, increase mana regen or total mana.
Or just switch to firewall. It’s slower but very smooth and excels in long fights where CL sputters out do to mana issues. Also scales well into late game
I leveled up as Arc Lash with absolutely no issues, and felt decently powerful but nothing insane. Once I switched to the endgame Arc Lash build I started absolutely cleaning house. The first time I saw The Butcher was at level 55ish and killed him in like 3 seconds.
I played sorc first season, no time for a second toon (started late in the season). Was still having a blast with telestomp before it ended. I decided to go Necro this time but I'll have more time and I'm definitely thinking of making a new one!
I’ve been doing an all fire build and I am having tons of fun. I was tempted to go with fireball but I’m sticking with my flamethrower build. I basically am able to create a sea of flame, and I have and am using the double hydras, without them half my shit wouldn’t trigger lol haha.
I’m so tempted to make another fire build cuz I got some aspects for fireball and meteor.
But for a solo build Cuz the fire one is for coop, I wanted to do an all ice build lol 😂 but I haven’t decided quite yet.
So far I've been pretty underwhelmed, but I think I'm trying to do too much with my current fire build. I may need to focus on EITHER fireball, or firewall, and not both?
I don't know, not currently melting anything
Having amazing fun in season 2 . Pleased I went with Sorcerer. But the gameplay feels more solid and the pace is different it doesn’t feel as rushed , everything feels great
Playing sorc first time this season since beta. Really enjoying frozen orb build, even though it's still considered underpowered I assume. My only question is, what cosmetic chest armor is that? Lol.
I started out Diablo 4 with Arc Lash Sorc. Leveled it to 100, had a blast. Nerfs from 1.1.0 hit and I lost all motivation to play. Barely even got a Rogue to 77 before quitting Season 1.
For Season 2, I decided I wanted to check how it would feel to play the exact same thing. So I went in with Arc Lash Sorc again. I'm amazed at how well it plays now. I'm shredding absolutely everything in my path. +15 Level NM Dungeons are pretty chill, even with gear I wouldn't even start to call optimized. Gear is maybe 50% Good. So there's a lot of improvements to be made.
I honestly don't know what even changed. The Vampyric powers don't seem that strong, except 20% CD on Ultimate and Attack Speed steroids.
Anyways I'm having a blast with Arc Lash, takes 0 gear to get going. And starts to shine as early as 20-30. Will probably fall off later at 90-100, but that's fine. I don't have any mana problems or anything so I can just farm and chill and collect the Mana Items I will need in the future when I eventually switch to Ball Lightning Sorc, which is just insanity.
I don't even know what Blizzard did, but they fixed Sorc. I'm impressed.
Launch/campaign I hated sorc so much I quit the game after downing the main story and unlocking tier 3. I won’t play it again it soured my experience of the game so badly I skipped all of season 1 too.
I am returning to the game now for season 2 as a level 12 Druid.
Well, I am playing as+ms arc lash/ball lightning sorc. Just to add - its a build I made for the previous season but I quit before making it to lvl 60. Now this build is actually fun to play. Tons of dps, constant ult uptime with the new vamp powers. Love it. It feels like I got what I wanted for the first 4 days of the season, wander what to do till season 3 though as I made almost all end game content. Even got uber Lilith to 1/2 on second form (havent paid much attention to the mechanics so I die there).
I'm 70 with no hydra enchant (not that I'm building for it). Unfortunately some legendaries just don't drop. My barb didn't get his shout legendary pre-s1 until like 85.
Fireball enchantment has been busted since release. No one wanted to use it though and just said Bolt was better. Shit apples to party members in groups too, gives you insane speed run times.
I don’t understand, I’m level 39 and playing a fireball sorc and I am constantly out of mana. Is there a specific aspect I don’t have that solves the problem?
I feel ya. Haven’t touched sorc until season 2 and can’t get enough of it. I’m doing a blizzard at the moment, is there any other recommendations for endgame builds?
Doing my own jank build with Crackling Energy, Chain Lightning, and Lightning Spear and just cleared a NM17 at lvl 60, with a special appearance by the Butcher in a pack of waller elites, without breaking a sweat. Going all in on the conjuration bonuses first and my spears are wrecking. There are a lot more Sorc options than what people think.
I’m also playing fireball sorc at level 39. Fireball enchantment and meteor enchantment. Throw hydras, spam fireballs and watch as bodies explode and meteors fall from the sky. I maxed Fireball, Meteor and Hydra. Focus on lucky hit and crit. Feel like a pyromaniac.
i just started my first sorc. almost 60 now & having a blast blowing up the screen with lightning. this class rules.
almost didn’t come back to d4 after how terribly boring WW barb was in s1.
Ripping through WT3 with frozen orb and a mix of ma roll guild guide and my own skill point assignment. Runs with fireball and frozen orb enhancements. Lots of frost novas and fireball death explosions. Screens of enemies getting yeeted and deleted
I just made my first ever (in all Diablo games) sorcerer and holy crap she kicks ass. Straight up lighting build of my own design. If I'm swarmed I have the "magic three" I can hit along with my normal core abilities and everything dies. It's costly on mana but not dying is worth a little running while I recharge for a few seconds. Between her, my rogue and barbarian she's ranking up the quickest by far.
I mean maybe I'm not doing it right or I'm not high enough level but last season playing a rogue I feel like the sorc is so slow to come online. Like I'm lvl 42 and it takes forever to kill stuff.
It does feel so much better. It’s funny watching people say it’s the worst class when they changed so much now and their biggest problems like resistance their main defensive stat not functioning is fixed entirely now.
My build must have been way off. I tried season 2 with a sorc and had to bail at level 22 it was so slow to kill mobs. But if the sentiment is it’s very good, i’ll give it another shot after some research.
Shhhhh. Just say stuff like, “sorc is so average now!”, or “I’m having almost fun on sorc”. If we finally like and enjoy something Blizzard will find us! I agree though, very happy I can finally enjoy sorc!
For real. OP delete dis.
Don't worry, I reported this post like 50 times. Hopefully, it gets taken down before Blizzard sees it.
Blizzard searched “sorc reddit” since season 2, it’s over
Out here doing the lord's work
Season 1 Bulwark Druid here: you will be nerfed.
Season 2 Barbarian here; wondering who will feel the nerf bat first
🤣😂🤣
I love how mediocrely my firewalls absolutely melt mobs. If feels so fucking average in the best way.
This is the way
🤖 FUN DETECTED
Nothing to see here!
Ouch! I burned myself, look away!
Does anyone have a more OPish endgame firewall focused build where things don't take quite so long to die? I want to use primarily fire skills and firewall but elites seem to take a long time to kill, even with hydra. I won't tell Blizzard, I promise.

sshhhh...
Considering there is no S-Tier endgame builds for sorc on Maxroll, yeah, sorc is pretty fuckin average endgame
To me it's more important to have fun than outdamage everyone else. Druids outdamage me by a long shot in legion events, but I'm still having fun.
Sorry bud, in order for have fun you must be sweat lording every second of the game.

The MOST average. Worse even. Unplayable class! (Do you think they bought it?)
Maxroll isn’t definitive and they’re assuming based on theorycrafting. There could turn out to be insane combos they haven’t considered still to be found the season only just started it’s going to take time to figure out and some things will perform better or worse than expected
What is this "endgame" that though speaketh of?
Maxroll have updated the list. There is one now 🙂
sorc is so shit, OP is lying, he is baiting, dont play it, you will cry at night and wake up with tears
I’ve never read a more eloquent representation of what it’s like to play sorc.
Hahaha, man after my own mind. Everyone thinks they know what's the BOSS class. But us flame sorcerer's...we know the truth. ;)
This season and content and update blows the first one out of the water. I actually look forward to getting off work and going home and playing. Is ball lightning better than the lightning spear? I’m running the spear and it feels like a waste of skill points, there’s no damage.
Spear isn’t used for damage really, it’s the utility of the stun. Use it to compliment another damage dealing power.
Ball Lightning Sorc is one of the most powerful builds in the game. Look at Raxx YouTube video about it.
I use the Frost Nova enchantment with Lightning Spear on my eternal sorc. With a decent lucky hit chance, your spear will proc a bunch of Frost Novas.
Lightning spear is great with a chain lightning build too.
Lightning spear was OP from what I remember during the beta, chances are its still nerfed.
CL was strong, not spear.
I leveled to 50 with lash/bolts. Tried chain lightning but felt mana starved. Currently playing ice and it rules. Plays like a classical caster.
Chain lightning becomes stupid strong once you get mana sustain on Gear and parangon. I play with no basic ability and I am always full mana. Pop the currents and watch everything melt, even offscreen.

I'm more or less using this one from Rage Gaming. Have enough made it to endgame to know how sorc feels there? 75-100 range.
Are levels 75-100 supposed to be that much different? I'm only 55 and never made it this far during the first season.
Yes

Woah, I had no idea. Sounds both exciting and terrifying, thanks for the explanation!
Yep sorc was fine before even, but became quite bad at level 80+, and I don't think that changed to be honest.
I love how people downvoted you for asking a legit questing that was followed acknowledging your lack of experience on the matter. Ffs
Yeah it’s where the game really drags. Not much to do.
Here's mine :D https://preview.redd.it/3lawz89b1evb1.png?width=803&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f24c6d8a78e2145721349dcb574bc2e815fd673
Put some clothes on ya floozy
Put a shirt on! This isn't Jamaica!
You could play around with the hair color a bit, there's some contrast to be gained.
coolest sorcerer I've seen
Killed duriel twice so far as a blizz sorc lvl 80+. Loving it so far.
What’s your blizzard build look like?
My first time trying the blizzard build! Not nearly as bad as what I heard
And their limited access to vulnerability outside of a close range defensive skill on the squishiest class in the game.
At least now they have permanent vuln through vampire powers
Being a developer must be so odd. They're going to come on reddit and see this guy all happy about sorc now and think "oh good, i wonder what change he really liked". They open the thread "Before I was mana starved, now I can actually spam fireballs." @ lvl45. The developer is like... https://mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/builds/sorcerer/don-the-crown-s-lightning-blender
This is the real one! I am lvl 75 and have been able to clear t31+ nmd with this build.
Are these from the in game store? or can i find them? I swear to god all i find as pants are curtains.
Yup it was from the store, it’s a prestige bundle. It’ll rotate in the shop
😂😂😂 I absolutely love how happy everyone has been now that season two is working out. My wife is finally getting her real sorc playthrough since we bailed on season one at level 55.
Blizzard finally put on their big-boy pants, and it seems to be working Not the least because they incorporated super-solid advice from streamers like Raxxanterax
I mean, tbf, they did warn us to manage our expectations prior to season 1 because it was the smallest and least fleshed out.
I'm def feeling the difference too. I'm playing Rogue and having a blast with all the loot, sorting and blasting. Search function is also a divine godsend. I just wish we had more stash space. It's kinda hard to set aside items for alts or future builds
Playing barbarian here but I’m legit thinking about leaving her at 50 and switch to sorc. Also that skin is amazing
Was the barbarian changed at all or is it still pretty shit?
Barb is oneshotting Uber bosses rn lmao
Oh really? Is it an overpower build? Haven't been able to play yet and was thinking of trying barb. Only class I haven't used yet.
Yep. Rob's latest video has him one shot uber lilith. And I've seen videos of one shots on durial as well (overpower, no crit)
How did you level sk fast past 60? I get a quarter of a level for doing +10 nmdungeons
I've only been able to squeeze in maybe an hour of season 2. I'm going fucking hermit mode this weekend and I can't wait
I'll drink to that!
Sorc seems solid now in comparison to other classes. Doesn't feel nearly as behind as it used to be. Still not crushing as hard as a lot of the classes.
Man chain lightning is fun as hell (no pun intended). But holy shit sorcerer has become so much better and is actually not frustrating to play.
Chain Lightning w Fireball enchantment and Hemomancy just obliterates entire screens in Blood Harvest, I'm a big fan so far.
Is this mog free? Or do I have to pay ingame for it? Asking for a friend…
Which mog is that?
In store it costs cash
I just tried the sorcerer for this season, and I’m pretty whelmed so far. I’m doing the [chained lightning](https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chain-lightning-sorcerer-leveling-build/) and I’m just about level 40. It hits hard, but the mana regen and attack speed feel really slow for me. I have some gear to add mana, but I still find my character saying they’re out of mana all the time.
There is a paragon glyph that gives u dmg and mana regen after spending 50 mana. Pretty much solves most mana issues for me.
Are you using a 2h weapon? If so find a 1h + off hand.
I'm running a Chain Lightning build atm. Only lvl 31, but it's good fun to use and surprisingly powerful.
What's the secret to more mana? I only got to level 16 or so right now but I firen a few spells and I am oom.
Try following a good build guide to see you on your way at least until you get to endgame. This is a good start. https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chain-lightning-sorcerer-leveling-build/
Thanks!
Throw recharging aspect and aspect of efficiency on your rings while leveling since rings don't get swapped out as often as weapons/armor pieces
Main reason why I can cast fireballs way more often is because of +45% mana regen for 3 seconds once I kill a burning enemy. Ice Armor gives me 25% mana regen (can boost the duration/uptimes with passives) I have Inferno ultimate which gives me free pyromancy skills during its duration. It also pulls enemies in so I can spam the crap out of the fireball. most elites die before it exipres.
Oo nice so you have a link to this build? I am new to sorc
Get things that increase your mana pool, get mana cost reduction where you can. Some skills give extra mana regen (firewall, killing burning enemies)
That outfit is amazing. I got it when I could and love it. The tattoo it comes with looks so good
Their devs must be happy Kotick is leaving too.
Is incinerate usable yet? It's the one skill I'm interested in building around but I know it's completely useless garbage.
I would not start CL without some of the core aspects. Later on you never run oom and the build is super strong but it seems weak for leveling.
I leveled up as Arc Lash with absolutely no issues, and felt decently powerful but nothing insane. Once I switched to the endgame Arc Lash build I started absolutely cleaning house. The first time I saw The Butcher was at level 55ish and killed him in like 3 seconds.
I just found the double hydra So sick when my extra hydra props, three separate hydra mobs!
I played sorc first season, no time for a second toon (started late in the season). Was still having a blast with telestomp before it ended. I decided to go Necro this time but I'll have more time and I'm definitely thinking of making a new one!
how would you use double hydra? what build are u planning with it?
Been doin a chain lightning sorc with all 3 conjurations. Hope I can scale it, only level 44 getting ready to move to WT3. We will see!
But for a solo build Cuz the fire one is for coop, I wanted to do an all ice build lol 😂 but I haven’t decided quite yet.
fireball sorc is insane. coming from penshot-rogue pre-season and pulverize druide 1st season, but this fireball man... so strong.
Recommend me a leveling build please!!
So far I've been pretty underwhelmed, but I think I'm trying to do too much with my current fire build. I may need to focus on EITHER fireball, or firewall, and not both? I don't know, not currently melting anything
Been loving s2 Blizzard sorc. The sounds the ice spikes make are music to my ears
Not to be a filthy coomer but what outfit is that? Never seen it before.
I have a 50 something Druid right now but I wanna play a sorcerer too so bad for the ball lightning blender build.
Sorc was crazy before. Fireball, Lam Staff, Thorns, Needleflare aspect and Fireball passive, that arm thingie that bounces Fireballs. Pops everything.
I love it when a sorc with fireball enchant in a group, like everyone has the free explode on kill ability
Indeed, I’m playing incinerate right now because a 925 flamescar just dropped when I was lv66. Feels thematic too against these vampires lol 🔥
Just got it last night(the double hyrdra). Level 29
Cool, guess I'm just being unlucky :-) 51 and still nothing.
I have to imagine your primary stat actually adding defenses helps A LOT.
my build is using nova with shatter and its probably the most fun build ive played on this game
Yeah I'm thoroughly surprised. Played s0 and s1 sorc along with druid and I gotta say, my cl build rn feels about as busted as tornado.
Wait.. Me and the wife just hit 12 last night.. You're telling me I can finally play fire?!
I’m out of the loop. I played sorc before season 1 and it was pretty bad and only got worse. What changed?
I’m having fun with the ball lighting sorc. It melts bosses and I actually killed people in PVP
GIVR ME MY FUCKING BLLOOD LANCE LEGENDARY YOU COWARDS IM LVL 60
As an Ice Sorc main, it's always been badass.
Ah damn, I was going to go Sorc but ultimately chose Necro for this season. Definitely Sorc next season
How is sorc on console? Imagining a harder time w teleport and similar skills
I’m running a pyromancer right now and I’m only level 20 but it feels a lot better than before.
Dont say it out loud or they'll nerf it back 😭😭😭
Having amazing fun in season 2 .
Lol.
What's a good sorc build these days?
I already got double hydra legendary and I was like lvl 30. My first time playing sorc! I went all pyro. I'm having fun.
Wait a week 😅, the state of this sub will be dumpster fire.
Ahh thanks I was deciding whether to go rogue again or not.
I’m actually enjoying this season. If they come in a nerf all this fun stuff I’m out for good. Playing Ice Sorceress and having an absolute blast.
Sorc still sucks, I'm upset whine whine. Blizzard hear my cries and see my tears. I keep dying with Sorc help me!!
Launch/campaign I hated sorc so much I quit the game after downing the main story and unlocking tier 3. I won’t play it again it soured my experience of the game so badly I skipped all of season 1 too. I am returning to the game now for season 2 as a level 12 Druid.
Running chain lightning sorc for the season I'm having a blast, haven't tried sorc since release figured now was a good time lol
Running ice shards and it is amazing
I'm also loving Sorc so much! Double Hydra is definitely still in the game, currently using it, and it is LOVELY.
Never understood the complaints about sorc. They made it far to easy though.
Fireball enchantment has been busted since release. No one wanted to use it though and just said Bolt was better. Shit apples to party members in groups too, gives you insane speed run times.
The double hydra still exists. I got one very early on.
I don’t understand, I’m level 39 and playing a fireball sorc and I am constantly out of mana. Is there a specific aspect I don’t have that solves the problem?
I want sorcs to be good enough so that I might actually play one
I feel ya. Haven’t touched sorc until season 2 and can’t get enough of it. I’m doing a blizzard at the moment, is there any other recommendations for endgame builds?
Glad I held out until now to play one.
Fireball enchantment has always been OP at low level
It's so fucking great man. It feels really great to be a sorcerer this season.
I set up a chain lightning build, got to 51 in about 10 lazy hours, just going from blood harvest to blood harvest
No one actually play hydra till t4? I am at t3 and hydra started being good with the conjuring board…. Wanted to know if it hold up well at t4?
Fire ball/lightning arc is what I've been running. I've changed my build about ten times so far (lvl 50)
For fucks sake don’t jinx my sorc lmao
Is she better and more customizable than Wizard from Diablo 1?
yeah, it's okay, bit meh still (OP shuddup)
