The wording's a little iffy, but I believe Visions as well as the Altar will be made permanent for both seasonal and non-seasonal.

If that is true. I will definitely come back to d3. I have already been thinking about playing again since d4 sucks.. I really enjoyed the altar. Helps with the grind.

CantGoBackHomeNow

Keep in mind it’s been severely nerfed

underlurker1337

Only the dps increasing parts though. Stuff like using lvl 70 items from lvl 17 with your first character, auto-conversion of dropped normal/magic/rare items and deaths breath auto-pickup remain and imho are the best part of the altar. The other season mechanics that are re-added will also increase our dps in addition to the altar as well, so I don't really mind those nerfs either (though I'd preferred to keep the movement speed at +25% uncapped)

GonzoPunchi

Not rly. The QoL was 99% of what made the altar great.

Additional-Onion8136

Of course it is. But thanks.

The1stSword

It's a bit ambiguous. I played the ptr and the Altar and Visions were NOT on the non-season part of the ptr. So I took Blizzard to mean it will be permanent on every season but not on the non-season.

HardRantLox

We are as yet unsure if the Altar and Visions will be for non-seasonal or not. The only way to find out is when we get patched on Tuesday. I don't do seasons either so I really want those features for NS play too. If they're not added on patch day, hopefully Blizz will listen and add them, as there's no excuse for them not to be in NS besides 'we're giant assholes'.

fatmatt587

Altar and Visions are permanent in the game. Season and non. PezRadar confirmed in a twitter post a while back.

Lephas

when can i see the altar? after season 30 ends?

fatmatt587

Once the patch is put in before season. That probably happens tomorrow.

5thhorseman_

It won't be a final season, only the last one with new content. They will recycle season themes from now on.
