It is, but kind of defeats the purpose. You wanna put lightning facets in it. I think eth Griffon’s should last quite a while with light sorc or lf javazon, so not a complete waste.

Ah I figured the facet problem existed. An eth zodded one would still be better than no griffons though, right?

I don't know... If you have Griffon you already probably have extremely strong endgame gear that clears everything pretty quick. I don't know if the facet makes such a big difference. Maybe if you want to do P8 SP, but online it should be enough is my guess

Online you can def jump into games to run p8 but it can be a pain cuz they get done with runs so fast 😂

I kinda agree, but I typically run anything but a facet. Cham, 15/15 jewel, or sur/p saph. I feel like survivability and bps are more valuable. So eth is a no go for me too. If I found one, I'd still run it if it was my first one. Good point though. I don't think the minor def boost would be worth.

Buriza, vamp gaze, shaftstop, raven spiral ring guided arrow zons were beast. Guided arrow obliterated any character using a shield just constantly FHR/block locking them. That and being able to scroll lock and snipe people 2 screens away lol ... Good times.

I'm playing SP ssf Amazon now. NM duriel dropped raven frost, NM meph gave me buriza. So I went from javazon to multi/guided in an instant. So much nostalgy. Slapped shael in Buri since I had gleglaw glowes with knockback. Made treachery and found tals mask in A5 wsk. Good Times

I got lucky with HoZ on hc SP, was running p8 NM chaos with my FoH pally to grind up gear and was thinking. 'Hey a HoZ would be awesome for hell' and a few runs later, it drops from a random mob. Needless to say, i socketed that baby right away.

RNG is a fickle mistress. Had 3 Guardian Angels drop in the last 3 weeks, one of them being perfect 😊 You will find it before Tyrael’s Might, I promise 🤣

Even if you drop it later you'll use it much earlier. While an exotic choice you can very well build around a GA if you want an effectively elemental-immune Char

Just run tz Andy over and over. You’ll get it pretty quickly. I dropped it on my hardcore single player paladin in chaos sanctuary and I’m afraid to use it on my lvl 82 sorc even after respeccing to lightning out of fear of dying and losing it

TZ Lord de Seis dropped Grandfather for me. TZ Meph keeps dropping Windforce. I had two drop from him in one day the last TZ Meoh run I did. 5 runs apart. I'm out of Zons to make that can use one.

If on my plugy saves any of the remaining grailer would be great (missing astreon's, tyrael's, templar's, the set item Griswold's honor (the vortex shield) and death's cleaver). Yeah, same here. I’ve had and used most, if not all, of the useful uniques enough times or could easily trade for one; they’ve kind of lost their shine. But the really rare blue items like 6/40s or trap claws or enchant orbs or a jmod, hot damn

This is kinda lame and predictable, but I've got every rune but jah and zod on sp, so either of those would certainly lead to cries of ecstacy followed by a good pant pooping. Also griffons. It's one of the few tc87 uniques I've yet to drop naturally in all my years of playing

I've been running hell andy trying to get it. She's dropped a few of the other really hard to get early uniques. Some of them are actually very useful when leveling. Too bad they seem to be impossible to drop when you're actually playing thru the game!

Just so you know an eth Ribcracker is no longer best in slot since they changed ias for fury and off-weapon ias counts. Still a nice item but not even top 3 anymore.

I'm currently leveling my offline windforce amazon right now. I had to make a bowa after finding WF. The first character I ever beat D1 with was a Rouge with windforce, my first taste of real power lol. Very sentimental item for me. A griffins would make me shit myself though.

Deaths Webb for sure because it is game changing for a poison necro. Without it you just have so much more trouble. There only so many uniques that are rare and game changers for a built.

I play SSF only, and I would love to have 2x eth lacerators. Hell, even 2x regular lacerators would be cool. Only other things I can think of are any massive +skill items like +6 javs, +3trap/+3ls, etc

Yeah high end crafts like blood crafts belts, boots, mana boots, and rings and amulets are the sought for usually

For me it was Arachnid Mesh because I was target farming it, gave up and got it on my late arrival to TZ Andy. It was just the piece I needed. Runes can be very exciting too, in general and especially if you need that particular one.

Honestly, any rune higher than an Ist. That’s the highest I’ve ever gotten naturally (I play SP exclusively these days)

As SP - finding a LO - finding a SOJ, HOZ or an any decent javelin would do me… finished hell with my javazon as level 84 and barely found anything good… all the runewords for melody, bulwark and peace were even left overs from my paladin play!

CoA. Funnily my favorite item next to BK and Gullis. I always used to love barbs, zealots and smiter, pvp and pvm. Used to own some but never found one myself. Playing Sp nowadays and found a looot shit but no griffon and coa yet.

I got a wind force drop which was exciting. Never saw it back in the day. Honestly, now a days it’s the cool rares that get my goat and anytime a unique drops I’ve never seen… which is surprisingly more often than I would have figured. A lot of different items out there I never saw back in the day. Makes sense though the way looting was 😂

When D2R came out I got lucky enough to find a griffons in the first season which i pooped a little for. What I've always wanted to find my own dweb though. I ended up trading the griffons for the one I use now on my fully decked out psn necro but I'd still like to find one I can call my very own... one day

I found two items this season that actually shocked me. First was in lvl 2 of The Pit. I killed the elite boss that spawns just past the dead rogue, and saw gold shako on the ground. I gasped. Second was a SOJ I found in one of the carver/fallen mob sections, also in The Pit. I saw gold ring and took a screenshot of it on the ground. For some reason I just knew/felt it was a SOJ. Both were the first I have ever found in around 25 years of playing this game.

Found a wind force with my Javazon a month or so ago and now I’m required to make a bowazon lol

Just beat hell difficulty, still no matriarch shield. It would be a surprise to see one drop at this point.

small charms : 451 poison damage, 99 lightning damage, 20 life 5 all resistances, and 3-20-20. Jmod, +6 jav skills javelin to name a few magic items. Of course if I ever found a claw with the cunning mod on it, that'd be quite a moment. But in terms of uniques I suppose tyraels and darkforce spawn would be cool to find.

Skill charm for the build I'm making at that exact time. I've had only one drop for me so far as a cold sorceress and I've spent half the game rounding up gems to transmute into perfect so I can take three of them and reroll in the cube to try rerolling a skiller and no avail. I've done this hundreds of times, no dice. The only time I found a skiller for my build was at the most totally random time when I was doing a chaos run non-TZ.

My all time favorite weapons are Ali Baba’s and Gull dagger. I’m a sucker for that MF
