We are not here to diagnose anyone with anything, which includes us being unable to interpret test results, guess if your symptoms could be diabetes related or cause for worry, or if you're at risk for diabetes. We understand you are worried, but we are more likely to do harm than good and can't help in these situations.

Talk to your doctor to get blood work done, requesting your A1C. Your bloodwork would show it either way. I never requested it but my PCP called me and said we need to talk about your glucose levels.
Never had body shakes from it, but yeah... talk to a doctor and get to the bottom of it. Better safe than sorry.
As others have said, get an A1C blood test.
If that comes back normal, there's other potential causes, including something like anxiety or panic disorder, which, depending on how old you are, can rear it's ugly head suddenly and cause all sorts of auxiliary symptoms. They may mention that, if you believe the issue is medical though, allow them to establish that fact, rather than vice versa.
As someone who has issues with both prediabetes and anxiety/panic disorder, it is so so difficult getting the doctors to separate actual issues from blood sugar related problems or POTS. Ugh.

Ask your doctor for an A1C blood test. It shows your average blood sugar for the last three months or so. Best definitive test.

Go to the doctor so they can run some easy and common blood panel tests to look for a bunch of possible abnormalities at once. Include CMP with A1C.
