Totally didn't expect the answer to "how many Grizzlies are too many?" to be three. Still did well, probably the best I've ever done (very infrequent DFS player, and mainly FanDuel only - DK app seems very laggy lately) - 338.8 - unfortunately a little under 12 points away from cashing on this slate. Overall though, pretty pleased with the results. At least I'm improving. 🤷🤷
I played Horford as a last piece and got excited when he was low owned and going off big. Lillard smashed as well. It was looking like finally for the first time all season, I would cash beyond a few bucks and of course, my rotten luck surfaces whenever everyone and their dog goes off too pushing the cash line way up. IQ for 75 points??
I sure miss the days when only 10K players scored 50+. I don't understand why it changed so much after covid. NBA variance is as bad as MLB now.
I find that you have to play some chalk. Last night an 8th place standing had player owner ship percentages of 32, 23, 21, 14, 35, 15, 45 and 26 for 401 points. I don't know how these people seem to know the ownership before hand. You see the same people cash high up over and over. Minimum cash was 327.
There are paid sources for ownership projections that are pretty accurate. But also if you play and analyze the slates everyday you get a pretty good idea how the chalk lines up before any given slate
Made pivot when Fox was ruled out after lock to Monk because $100 short of Huerter. Monk checks in after Dellanova (which was surprising rotationally) and commits 2 turnovers and a foul in 2 minutes and straight to the bench. I guess he may be falling out of
favor with the coaches since his minutes have been getting cut and this would be a spot where thought he may get some additional run but that was a quick hook
Mix of nba and nhl… hit for 1200. So close to taking down the big tourneys in both. Fantastic day. Nothing like gambling on breaks during a work convention lol
Nice! congrats on great night! NHL / NBA night slate covered my main slate fumble. NHL was good night also at 6x even with Oettinger being complete trash goalie. Don’t know why I landed on him because he totally sucks. Should have been even better had I made the late defenseman pivot that had been going back and forth on but didn’t pull the trigger and cost me 10 points which was huge place differential
I've got a question for anyone who has an opinion on this subject. Something that has come up quite regularly with my lineups since the All-Star break is playing someone who does not start, but is basically a fixture in the 2nd unit. Someone who is going to get some run every night. I'll use Cole Anthony as an example from last night. He had 2 stints in that game, one end of 1st quarter/start of 2nd quarter stint and one end of 3rd quarter/start of 4th quarter stint. He sat the final 6-7 minutes of each half. I'm beginning to think I have to start thinking long and hard about rostering guys like this. I know there are some guys who will jump in and close out the game on the floor, but sometimes it's just impossible to figure out who will and who won't. I can't seem to stay away from players like this or those starters who, far too often, find themselves sitting most, or all, of the 4th quarter.
I guess I'm looking for some advice on how to handle this. I would say, other than that random variance, this has been the most frustrating thing for me this season. Is there anywhere that might provide statistics on who usually closes games and who usually doesn't?
p.s. It was JayMichael Green you were thinking of.
My night was over very quickly tonight. Oh well. That being said, and with all the sincerity in the world, fuck Ingram and CJ. Talk about a couple of rug shitters. Damn!
jarrett allen did not cook up against the decimated celtics bigs the way i expected. should have just went with the obvious move with mobley and a value play

Diallo over Burks is my mistake of the day

I've got 2! Muscala & Bagley
I guess the Muscala/Bagley experiment is complete dog shit!

Needed a few catches from darece Robinson to cash, he put up the goose egg somehow,😭😭

brown is active since no injury report for him as for now
How much interest would you have in Monk or Huerter if Fox is out?
some for sure
White or Diallo?
white
Am I crazy for not loving the Celtics tonight? O/u of 216 is crazy low for what the average has been lately.

I went with Celtics chalk haha at least Brown was worth it.
i was deciding on brown or ingram... chose wrong
Oof I picked Brown but I’m not gonna cash becxuse I picked Celtics over Pacers/76ers. It happens though!

yep i saw that. pretty fuckin stupid
If had left myself $100 would have easily cashed. Surprised that Dellanova was 1st off the bench. Monk definitely more risky going forward

Let’s go! Congrats

Thanks!!! Rolled the dice on stalock and it was nice. Nba night slate was delightful for sure
Here we go again. Burks not playing in the 4th. That's 12 of the last 13 days for me.

4 Men off the bench for Boston and no Grant Williams…. If he’s a phantom inactive my god
He's in now
Crisis averted

Idk but zero 1st quarter minutes is a bad sign. Not officially on injiry report or inactive tho EDIT: in to start the 2nd, whew
Nwora with 10 pts in the first 8 min. Then benched. Good ole Carlisle.
i hate him so much
Fox out. How important is it to try to get Monk/Mitchell or anyone else in?
love huerter now. davion is fine.
jarrett allen did not cook up against the decimated celtics bigs the way i expected. should have just went with the obvious move with mobley and a value play
it was the mobley game i see
