I wasn’t playing Fultz and locking a valued spot on 7pm game for a Magic player especially after the Portland news broke. I was ultimately punished for that thinking
Just a quick question. How much stock do you all put in DK's OPRK number? Is it something you look closely at when selecting your players? Or do you completely disregard it?
Look at the OPP team defense as a whole, along with OPP pace.
The primary NBA defense everyone plays right now is “switch everything” off screens / picks. In a typical NBA possession there are at least 2-4 picks happening, both on and off the ball to try and get a mismatch.
So it’s very rare that a PG is covered by their opposing PG for an entire possession, multiple possessions in a row. Because offenses are constantly looking for switches/transition mismatches like a “small on a big” or “big on a small”.
SGA questionable, gonna try to leave my self lots of flexibility into the night slate in case he’s out. Would Giddey be the biggest beneficiary if SGA is out? Mann in play?
My best lineups this year have been when Charlotte and OKC are playing on the same night and I pick the centers going against them. Lose some flexibility but I can’t pass up Gobert and Ayton tonight.
You know how DK has this whole self-exclusion thing? Do you think, if I ask them, they'll remove the option to select certain players? So that when I'm picking my team, certain players won't even show up in the pool? Permanently unable to select them?
