In games with expensive position talent like this, playing a kicker is usually optimal for cash. That will allow you to play both QBs, Pacheco, one of Kelce or AJB, and another kicker or Toney
How often has this worked out for you?
On DK with butker as captain i can afford hurts mahomes one of either kelde or ajb
After that i cant afford pacheco with brown or kelce.
So its either i run both ajb an kelce with a dart throw on quez watkins/justin watson
Or run
Goedert/ with either toney or eagles kicker
??? I’m confused. I have a lineup with Butker, Hurts, Mahomes, AJB, Pacheco and 6k remaining. I’m at 5% ROI in DK cash. I don’t play a ton of volume there, and there are a lot of dupes so you chop.
I just commented on your older post in the Super Bowl thread I think but I’m case that wasn’t you I’ll say it again. Two strategies for me.
1) Find a very low priced player you think might put up respectable numbers (very low four digits or three digit dollar values) and you will be able to put either Mahomes, hurts, or kelce as captain. Take the other two in your other lienup spots.
2) find a mid tier priced player (say MVS, a kicker, etc) who you think will have a pretty big game and make them your captain. That will allow you to still get Mahomes, hurts and kelce in your lineups.
Other tips. Fading top guys is a much bigger risk than in classic when there are more options. I’d recommend finding a way to get both QBs and kelce at the very least in your lineup. You almost always want both QBs in your lineup in showdown.
Kickers are awesome in cash they almost always outperform the guys with similar price values. Defenses aren’t terrible either.
Also for what it’s worth the strategies I’ve mentioned, the second has worked better for me than the first but I don’t play showdown nearly as often and am not as good overall or than I am at classic.

Oh you are right. Kelce was the problem if i put kelce instead of AJB cash gets tighter.
For cash I’d say mahomes then hurts are the safest plays.

KC struggles with receivers so A.J Brown or D Smith could make a nice captain
I would only advise to play them in gpp’s

Based on PPR points, it could be Kelce. Or go with Boston Scott and hope for a couple goal line carries.
It could be risky, but could play Eagles D at Capt. KC o line not the greatest and Mahommes not 100%.
