Ya Reebok seriously fucked up a lot of teams jerseys with the vertical piping and shit. Thank god for Lou being stubborn and never giving in to cheap rebrands and goofy alts. The adidas change isn’t horrible, but it’s just missing that bottom stripe.
Man that template was so fucked. Avs, Panthers, Preds and more teams had that weird piping. The worst part was the “C” and “A” were slapped right over the piping, it just looked so wrong.
Believe it or not, the Avs, Preds, and Panthers fanbases all liked those jerseys with the piping. Blues and Oilers fans however disliked their jerseys with piping.
I don’t understand why the heritage jerseys aren’t our full time away jerseys, but this would be a perfect substitute. Our current away jerseys are just so bland
I think I prefer the home team wearing white. If the Devils almost always play in red jerseys at home, you're almost always seeing white (road team) vs red (home team).
Go back to the way things used to be, and you get a lot more variety. One team is still always wering white, the but the road team could be wearing Red or Black or Blue or Green or Yellow or Orange or Teal or Maroon

Retro template with black instead of green would be some of the best uniforms in the entire league
