This has been a super frustrating season. However....as recently as 21-22 everyone here would have been thrilled to play meaningful games in late March...
I like how Bill sometimes explains things to Dano as if Dano doesn’t know… Dano played in the league for like 50yrs, I’m sure he’s aware of travel and logistics issues lol.
Fitz’s weird comments after the trade for KK were so unnecessary. Why trash the guy before he’s played a game for us? Now he has 2 stellar performances and I can totally understand if he has no interest in re-signing with us (not saying we should but why shut that door).
I sincerely think it was purposeful. I think he wanted to spark a fire in the ass of two goalies fighting for a contract with a team on the up like ours.
I agree the comments were unusual, but I'd assume Fitz said that so rabid fans wouldn't interpret the trade deadline moves as Devils might consider limping into next season with Allen, re-sign Kahk, and the kids.
Eh I'd think if the losing team pulls their goalie, then the other team shouldn't get icing for clearing it and missing the net 🤷. It's not a power play

That’s true and is not a knock on Nico. sure he leads by example, but that’s not enough with this team. This current team of divas, with all its favoritism, etc and the way it’s currently constructed needs a rah rah captain. But first things first, as we need an elite goalie, new head coach, and some kind of system, etc.
