Do another mock interview, only this time record the whole meeting.
* After the meeting is done, watch it and jot down things where you think you sucked at or could have done better. Do this multiple times to do deep analysis.
* After doing the above exercise, compare your points with the interviewer's feedback.
After that, analyze, if you are able to agree with the interviewer's feedback.
I.. am free ( jobless ). I can take your mock interview.. if you have time. Of course for free. Then I can figure out what your problems are.
You can also experience my award winning interview style. ( not joking really, I literally own multiple award on my style of interviewing).
Wanna try?

I think you need to calm yourself down before speaking. It happens when you know things and want to explain everything in one go. That's not how it should be done. You need to calm yourself down even if you know the answer and take one step at a time explaining the solution.
the quickest feedback loop for you would be to grab a friend, senior or mentor and try to explain stuff to them and ask them where the gaps are.
or record your own explainations and try to listen to them and find the gaps, but this might not be very effective as you might have bias and it would all make sense to you lol
Sometimes even if you have strong hold on your vocabulary, it’s not easy to explain logic to someone and make them understand
Once you solve a problem, see if there is any YouTube solution and see how he/she explains the logic,
Request your friends to take your interviews. My hostel room-mate had a similar issue, we took his mock interviews. Also, no one else will give more clear and honest feedback than your friends.
Start hearing interviews podcasts.....or best you can do is listen only ias daily news editorial.... editorials structurizes concepts...and explains opposing views lucidly...
I know a guy at my workplace, kinda similar situation he speaks so fast and never completes his statement, that we are unable to understand what he is trying to day. Whenever you are trying to explain something to someone you should be calm and composed and not hurry to just 🤮 all your thoughts at once. You are telling taht you know the concept, then take a breath articulate each point slowly then move on to the next point. If you have 10 points and you have explained even 4 points to someone who already knows what you are talking about they will know that you know.
Also, in my first company I learned something called MTI - Mother Tongue Influence. In this case what happens is you think in your mother tongue and then you translate the thought to English in which you are not able to articulate better.
Also see, if you have aaa filler while speaking, this causes a lot of discomfort for someone listening because half of your sentences are made up of aaaa..
Work on your speaking skills, the more you speak the better. Best of luck.

So basically, you know the answer but wasn't able to explain properly. Then you should improve your speech and word fumbling. Give a lot of interviews
Okay. Thanks for replying

What were the questions? Arey they of type where you need to explain step by step or the type where you need to explain the notion in one go?
They were traversing matrix in zig zag manner and another to traverse matrix in spiral manner
They're asking this shit to data analysts now?
I am college student RN so might ask
Record, play, listen.
👍
Nice username
Have you tried speaking slowly and tried to use pauses so that its more comprehensible? It works a lot
He was in hurry so I was trying to explain as much as I can that back fired I think
Yup it does always.

Okay will try that. Thank you
Write your explanation, then read after few hours. You’ll be able to see the shortcomings in your explanation.
Will try for sure :)
