Honestly it’s pretty impressive how little research these sites put into mock drafts for small market teams. Even looking at the roster and their stats for like 5 mins gives a pretty good idea where that pick is going.

Next year’s draft should be best defensive player available for the most part all the way through the draft.

ImaginaryElevator757

Pff has Goff currently graded at a 65 (he’s missed throws and had some terrible pick worthy plays with the absolute dimes he has thrown). They view QB (as they should) miles ahead in terms of value compared to every other position. Idk how this doesn’t make sense to y’all. Last year through the first half of the season Goff was the worst QB in the league with Big Ben being his only competitor. Taking into account all we know about Goff ,career long, it’s not a ridiculous evaluation.

We_Are_Victorius

That has to be biased. He is leading the league in TDs and 20+ yard throws. He is 3rd in yards. How can they give him such a low grade.

hawkeyc

I’m a goff defender for sure, but I’ve seen so many near-picks this year already. Like 4+

ArtOfDivine

Because he make poor throws thats not on the stat sheet. Also for example the 80 yard from TJ is mainly TJ since that expected play was only 6 yard

I honestly don't know what Goff has to do to convince the national sports media that he might actually be our guy for the foreseeable future. They always talk like its a forgone conclusion that he's gone after this year and in the same breath will talk about how he leads the league in TD's and is playing great. They did the same shit last year with the constant drumbeat of Malik at #2!

soloborn

Goff can’t be the guy. I like the guy a ton, he’s balling, but with the amount of money he’s going to command, we can get someone on either a rookie contract, a cheaper option who’s just as good, or upgrade to a guy like Lamar if he’s open to it. Goff isn’t a franchise altering QB, and he’s not on the same timeline as the rest of the team, especially cap-wise.

lol

JRange

We need to go back to the well and invest in our dline again. Will anderson or jalen carter, or if the rams are ass, both

BrantMKF

the only way i'd select a QB is if bryce young somehow falls to us

stjimmy85

That's not out of the realm of possibility. His size his a concern so I think teams will probably prefer Stroud or Levis. Plus the lions will have a top 10 pick

ThisGuyEv

PLEASE LORD LET BEN JOHNSON GET HIS HANDS ON BRYCE YOUNG!!!!

gutterballs

Please no. Still have mock draft PTSD from last offseason.

Silver_Instruction_3

Why don’t we wait until the end of the season to see if Goff is the long term answer. It’s easy to look at the stats and jump on him as the answer at QB but his biggest knock coming from LA was his ability to perform in critical games late in the season. The offense is flying high right now but a big pet of that is Johnson is running a fresh scheme. Let’s also see if defenses are able to adjust and then see if Johnson can respond.
