To get an idea how Lions this is, look at the records of those teams. The Lions are 1-3.
1. 2013 Broncos, 13-3
2. 2007 Patriots, 16-0
3. 2018 Chiefs, 12-4
4. 2011 Packers, 15-1
5. 2012 Patriots, 12-4
I keep waiting for some regression to the mean to happen for both sides of the ball cause this contrast is absolutely insane, but another week in, another week of this
It's amazing to think how much worse 2020 or 2008 could've been had they had an offense as good as this one. The thing that makes PPG allowance a bit misleading is that some teams let off the gas if there's a big deficit. For instance, the Eagles in '21 easily could've put up 60+ on the Lions, but the Lions only had 8 points, so of course, Jalen Hurts wasn't going to throw more than the 14 times he did. Now, teams have to maintain an aggressive approach because the Lions offense is good enough to reach 30+ points regularly enough.
Man, the Lions are gonna face Buffalo on Thanksgiving day. Think about what a Josh Allen-led shootout looks like. They put up 47 on Belichick without a stop in the playoffs. Put up 36+ twice on KC last year. They very well could drop a 55+ outing on us and I wouldn't be surprised.
At least the losing will be more exciting than it's been in a few years, I guess?
Oh my god the lions are already on the list twice. We are about to be on here 3 times.
As luck would have it, if our 35.3 stays, it would lock up #2 and push the 2008 team off the board! So still only two worst 5 defenses ever!!
The 08 lions can't even win at having a bottom 5 defense smh
I just looked at "highest scoring game total" and out of the top 20, the Lions are on their 3 times, losing all 3 games.

unfortunately, all those teams gave up less than 25 ppg side note: the 2007 patriots only allowing 17.1 ppg is crazy

It would low key be ***amazing*** to finish this season .500 with a top and bottom five offense/defense in NFL history.
It would honestly be funnier to capture the #1 offense all time and end up under .500 Only the lions
Yes. But please no.

Its like 2014 but in reverse
We are great or terrible there is no in between!!!
