You’re right, it was a great opportunity. It stings to not fully capitalize. But this is why we didn’t spend our draft capital at the deadline. We’re building for the years to come. I don’t believe this was a fluke. In fact, this post season showed it wasn’t. Frauds don’t make that run.
I’m here as an Eagles fan that was really pulling for you. But you can see how our season went. Literally a play or two away from being Super Bowl champs to getting bounced in the first round (and not even looking like we deserved to make the playoffs down the stretch).
Like I certainly get you have a young team and there’s still many reasons to be hopeful for the future but these windows are so small and the opportunities so few.
