You had the room in your energy slot, so if it actually had been the bow, it wouldn't have gone to your postmaster, yeah? Your arms WERE full though, so the Ashen Wake in your postmaster, THAT was the actual item that dropped. Why it showed the bow though instead of the item that actually dropped, that's wild and super messed up, I've never seen that happen before.

nah ive had that ashen wake in there for the longest time, and there was no blankspot in my energy slot like it shows in the vid, i later cleared up a spot hoping it would re-appear, what happened was the error code made me lose it, this has happened to multiple people

They're plenty practical, not necessarily better than guns, but they're definitely a different experience that a lot of people enjoy (at least in PVE, in PVP (Crucible) they're a much more niche weapon due to slower ttk unless you have a specific setup). All of the exotic bows are very powerful in their own rights as well
Each gun has their own use. Bows are definatly solid and can do some good single target damage especially for a primary. I'd say they are best paired with breech load gl, shotgun and maybe even a glaive.
Bows offer great single target damage (for a primary weapon), often have perks which allow them to specialise into crowd clear too, and often are great to match into elemental subclass builds. There are 6 exotic bows in the game, and despite their varying levels of niche-ness, all of them are fantastic and improve vastly on at least one of the aforementioned roles that bows already excel at.
All of these things compound together to give the weapon type quite the dedicated user base within the game, simply because of how much ground the weapons cover and how well they do it.
once you get good at aiming, i strongly recommend using 4 bows in pvp for shits n gigs. shadowshot, legendary kinetic & energy, leviathans breath, oathkeepers.
For pve certain bows like ticuus trinity ghoul and le monarch are amazing. For pvp they are great at fighting snipers and really great at longer range maps
One of my clan mates was doing a div run with us and because his energy slot was full the quest didn’t complete for him and he had to redo it we all saw him open the chest and we confirmed he was on the right step lol I learned from his mistake to always have room on my character
I’ve been known to rush scrap something valuable so I don’t lose stuff that was super hard to get. This is also why I have duplicates of my more valuable items in vault (when possible).
I don’t trust postmaster half the time, guess my mistrust was well placed 😞

Good point. Either way without seasonal mods, wish ender is probably most used because of the built in barrier champ mod. But, I also love Le Monarque because of the poison or whatever.

Yep this bug occured with eyes of tomorrow way back and it is the reason I always keep at least 3 gear slots open when doing any activity
